Morning fit women!

Hope everyone is having a happy Thursday:)

Last night I did GS Chest and Tris. I managed to do all the push-ups on my toes again, taking slightly longer breaks between sets:)

This morning I'm doing shoulders, then tonight is a 5 mile run (weather permitting).

Did KPC yesterday...that work out really is alot of fun!:)

Yesterday I did PS C/S/T and AllStep cardio and abs. Today is LL and CTX Kickbox cardio.

Wendy: I love BodyMax...it is just a GREAT workout. KPC is my favorite of Cathe's kickboxing too.

Hi all,

Great w/o's. You put me to shame, I haven't worked out yet. Felt very weak this morning. Probably didn't eat enough yesterday.

But, I had to push my bike through the snow a couple of times. Too much snow too ride. Great for my legs, though. And boy, did I have to do a couple of quick manouevers (sp?) to not fall of my bike today. Or be run over by a car. I should apply for a "danger fee" don't you think :)

Hope all this snow is gone by Sunday, cause 2 hours of running on the TM is not my idea of a fun run.

Shelley-LOVE the pause button for longer rests (I do it too)! Great job!

Dutchie-I hope the weather clears for your long run! I ran my 18 miler on the TM due to weather and it was tough, to say the least! LOL

I had an extra long leg workout this morning.
Did PLB (entire workout), 5 mile run, then Kick Max LCD! Feeling good (till tomorrow AM).

Seems like I've lost interest in Freestyle, but I'm veyr happy with the results I've gotten from the last 6 weeks. I'm starting the March rotation on Monday so I'll be back to what is 'normal' for me (and quite effective)!

I just got back from a 4 mile power walk.....made tougher due to very high winds!!! WHEW!

Gotta take a quick shower and get moving. I have a dentist appointment in less than an hour!!!!

Morning ladies. Today was PUB followed by cardio only from All Step. I'm off to make my oatmeal and take a shower.

Good morning, everyone!

LowMax sure felt good last night. But ugh - we had a blast of humidity along with that nice warm day, so I sure was sweating a lot. Just a little teaser for what is to come this summer!! Joy.

Today is GS-Legs plus some abs. I need to do the legwork. But... we have another nice day ahead, and I'm working at home. A run sure is tempting... maybe I can tack a short one on since I don't have a commute today!

Dutchie...do you always get alot of snow? That would be quite a workout peddling thru thru snow!

Great leg workout Gayle..I'va actually stopped doing Freestlye as I wanted to give more time to my upper body, and thought maybe working my legs 3 times a week instead of 5 times might help with running as I have had a tough time trying to increase my miles...

Becky...I agree, high winds can make a power walk or run quite an experience!!

Katie...PUB is a great upper body workout.

Shannon...humidity can really increase the sweat amount!!

I am hoping to do PS standing legs, yoga and a 5 mile run.

Great workouts today ladies! I did a nice mishmosh for my short cardio on the rotation. Not so short, but intense

CTX Step and Intervals - Warm up, cardio, and intervals,
LIS- Step workout and intervals, higher impact than demonstrated, cool down and stretch.
MIS - Ab section.

And a lovely morning it is ;) This morning workout was Kick Max :9 Why do I love to do this workout after a UB workout, seems too me that KM really helps me from getting sore ;)

Shelley - Push ups, I didn't do them all on me toes but I did make major progress, thanks :D

Tonight, GS Back Shoulders& Bi's & Ab hits (Planks) :p :p

The kids are better so they're at school today. Today was a 30min interval run, 1 Core Max segment, and 1 Stretch Max segment.

Shannon, how are your tendons holding up? Any problems since your break from cardio?

Wendy, KPC has become one of my favorites too.

Sandra, how are you enjoying the rotation so far? Also, what can I use as a substitute for Circuit Max? I didn't realize I was missing it when I placed my order, but I probably wouldn't have ordered it anyway. Would a CTX Power circuit be a good substitute or should I try HE workout #1? Thanks!

Shelley, great job on the push-ups.

Dutchie, hope the weather improves for you.

I'm off to the store to find kaffir lime leaves and lemongrass. I've decided to make a Thai Hot & Sour shrimp soup for lunch.

Hi, Pamela - thanks for asking. The tendons seem pretty happy. I'm continuing to ice them twice a day, whether they need it or not. They weren't bothered by LowMax at all!

Again, I've got to be quick. This morning I did Step & Intervals (as a sub for a 30 min interval run); Core Max 1, and Stretch Max 1.

Pamela, I'm liking the rotation very much so far! I have a feeling things are going to "pick up" a bit next week }( My glutes and hamstrings are feeling it, which is what I want, so that's great. How are you liking it? A really good sub for Circuit Max will be Cardio & Weights, which is part of the Intensity Series.

I've got to go, but I'll try to come back later and chat more.

Oh my....had Body Max COMPLETED by 9 a.m. today! YEAH!!!:7 I feel like I'm on vacation now!;)

I was not up to snuff with the u/b work out or the abs...was on the weak side for whatever reason...I finished it though...just used slightly lighter weights for most exercises and called for my mommy alot during the ab work!;)

Great work outs everyone!

I have to do the dreaded IMAX 3 tomorrow to COMPLETE the January rotation! WOOT WOOT!:+

I have 2 ideas in mind for my next rotation...what would you gals choose?

My original idea was a CTX style rotation utilizing the rebounder for a change...Alternating rebounding with the regular ctx cardios + 1 body part per day and ofcourse, one day of LL each week. Do this for 4 weeks.

OR

Do just ONE week of a CTX style rotation using the rebounder for ALL cardio...using this as a recovery week from the January rotation... and then jumping into the April 05 strength rotation. I've never done a STRENTH rotation before so it INTRIGUES me but also SCARES me as to what kind of changes I'll see doing little cardio with heavy weight training...

What do y'all think? I can never make up my mind!:p
 
Hi all,

I did CIA Kickbox Bootcamp today, it seems to be turning into a non-Cathe week,oh well a little change of pace is good for the ole body.:D

Last night I all of a sudden got really really bloated and cramping alot and couldn't even begin to hold in my tummy, not sure what happened but sleeping was a pain also. By this morning it was down so that was good but still I am not sure what caused it to happen so suddenly like that. It was almost just like when I eat too many sugar alcohols but I haven't had any since I figured out that that was what was causing my bloating before. I may never know,sigh.:-(

I still haven't had a cycle since Dec. 26th but I am not experiencing any discomfort from that so I don't think that was it either.

hmmm.. wendy I'm in a slump now...

you got me thinking maybe CTX is just what I need. A friend (PT) suggested I shake it up and maybe that is what I need. I did free wieghts on my own last night. I'd run but too darn cold.

Hmmm... Wendy did you do decide?
 
Hey Robyn...I am still undecided as to what I'm going to do come Monday...

I did a CTX rotation (kind of) when I was pregnant but because I couldn't PUSH for improvement at that time I can't give you my results BUT many on the boards have done it and sing it's praises so maybe you should go for it!:)

Hey...Maybe we can do it together...I'll just be putting rebounding in place of a few cardios a week...I'll probably alternate...:) If you want to do that then you'll force me to make up my mind and stick to the plan!;) What do ya say? :)

ETA: I just broke down and ordered High Step Challenge. I've been wanting it for a while and I got the high step as a Christmas gift!!! I finish the Jan rotation tomorrow so you KNOW what I'm doing Saturday now, right? ;) }( }(
