Hey there
It's Happy Canada Day for myself & Ceci today. Hope you are doing something that isn't work today, Ceci!
Last night I attended a low impact Boxer Fit class that was 53 mins long. First time I've really worked out in over a couple of weeks now. The class was alright. I didn't like that it had so much core work, but overall a motivating instructor & a nice class.
I really wish I had some better news to report to you all regarding the living/all night+day long noise situation, although still no change. It has been quite rough to be honest. Looking for new homes to sleep has not been going as I had hoped either. Thought we had a place on Monday and paid a security deposit on a place (by cheque), but they called us while we were happily driving home 25 minutes later to let us know that another party (overseas students) offered $770 more monthly rent, so it is not our place afterall. Pretty shitty. We had a similar situation last week too. It is defeating. We have some more places to look at tomorrow and Sunday, so still trying to not be negative about it & hope something works out. The Vancouver area is a strange place sometimes.
Funny what you were saying about tea there, Henriette. Made me laugh as I too, need my tea very strong & served hot!
Take care everyone! I know I am not checking in so regularly, but I almost always read your updates. You are all inspiring women to me who manage busy & balanced lives.
VERY much looking forward to getting back in the game before long!
