Today's workouts:

Blender- "Simply Chest" - 22 min.
Hydrow- 10 min. Upper Body Strength with weights
Stephanie Huckabee's PowerFit Plus- "Cardio Kick" - 20 min.

That's it for Friday! Hair appt (hopefully) this afternoon....boy, I need it, :)

I have KickMax on the docket for today, but I’m on the fence about just completing Leaf Max instead. I might do the warmup and leg drills from Kick Max and still do leaves. We are drowning. You can’t even see my driveway anymore.

I have long hair (down to the middle of my back) and I cut it myself last week using Brad Mondo’s “butterfly” technique on YT. It was so simple and it came out great. Saved me $100. One of my friends did it as well and it turned out great for her. There’s nothing like the salon, though. I love a good cut and blow dry. You feel like a new woman afterwards. Hope it goes well and you get some deserved pampering!

I'll have to look at that hair technique on YT!. I "forgot" to get my hair trimmed when I
should have :) and now it's extremely necessary.....I used to get my hair highlighted every
other month (what we used to call getting your hair "frosted") but I haven't done that since I
retired....it's "frosted" all on its own! :) But, doing that, does give it body....today's just
a wash & trim deal.

My girls and I drive to get ours done by the stylist who did my hair for my wedding! That’s how long I’ve known her. But it‘s an hour drive (her salon is right by my parents’ house, so we use hair appts as an excuse to visit grandma and grandpa). We had a crazy summer (my oldest developed epilepsy out of the blue) and I hadn’t had a hair cut since May! I had to take matters into my own hands. It came out so nice, I think I’ll keep doing it for awhile. I have a giant head of hair. It can get pretty wild if I don’t manage it.

I hear you on the color. I’m on the fence about coloring or not. I have some grays and they don‘t bother me. But…
 
Hi ladies,

Hubby is off for the next week including today so my days maybe messed up. LOL!

But today I managed a Taebo Get Amped Full Throttle workout off of YouTube that was 55 minutes long and I wore my wrist weights. It was a killer and I sweated. Thankfully Billy worked the muscles I didn't get to yesterday.

As for hair, mine is white, short and permed ( ok some limited gray in the very back). I love curls that the good Lord didn't give me.

Anita- Good for you thinking about doing Kickmax today( maybe a premix would be good). I know their is leaf max also. Whichever way you decide have fun with your workout.
Yes, I consider leaf max a workout, absolutely. Ooh! now you have me intrigued I'll have to check out Brad Mondo's Butterfly cut on YT. I'm a former hair stylist so I'll have fun checking out the Butterfly cut.

well, bummer on the hair appt! I went, but when I walked in, the girls told me that Ed
had to leave, as his wife was at the hospital. So I came home & at least got my hair
washed. I talked to him a little while ago, he said she was doing ok, but I am not sure what happened…. I rescheduled my appt next Friday! Hold on hair!!!:)

Leaf Max 2.0 will have to wait until after I complete XTrain Super Cuts tomorrow.

Im gonna go take a shower … and a nap.

I worked out yesterday but somehow missed checking in. I like to wait for you to start us off Linda and I think I got distracted.

Yesterday I did Gym Styles (you were right Anita) for chest and triceps. I added on hmmm an ICE Blast for 10 minutes which was just right.

Great workouts everyone.

And I can relate about hair - I see my stylist every 3 weeks for a "root touch up" and then get my hair trimmed every third appointment (I live in the city and she is just a 5 minute drive). It's a lot but clients stare at me for an hour at a time so they notice things e.g. new shoes, a hair cut, new clothing etc.
