Happy St Patrick's Day!

Today I taught my disco circuit class to 9 ladies including one lady who was there for the first time. That was about 54 minutes.

Then I did a circuit workout for 45 minutes 2 sets of one exercise for each upper body muscle group going light (using 20 pound dumbbells for most) . Ok, I did 2 exercises for chest. I did use 15 pound dumbbells for shoulder and the 2nd set of biceps curls. Then 14 minutes on the elliptical and finished with floorwork abs and legs with a stretch.

Body Max 2 is tough! and long whoa.

today I did a qinetic.com yoga workout for flexibility. boy i am stiff. i finished off with a 20 minute meditation.

Hi ladies,

Some gr8 workouts!
Rest day for me today. Fridays is just never a gr8 day for a workout. Commute from office to bball to pick up my son took over an hour, despite it being just over 20km away.

Will do a good w/o tomorrow. [emoji2]

Using 20 and 15 pound dumbbells is a light day for me. I did one set of bicep curls at 20 and the 2nd set at 15 pounds. The shoulder was an overhead shoulder press using 15 pound dumbbells . The triceps, back and chest were all done using 20 pound dumbbells.

Wow! Great workouts everyone.! I love Body Max 2 when I have the time!! Ceci and Henriette, rest and yoga sounds lovely...I'm wiped out. I did Cathe Live- Legs with weights and barre. Not with 20lb wts though. Go girl. Have a great day everyone.
 
Ok, I have a question: If 15 and 20 pound dumbbells is heavy what weights do you normally work out with?

I use 25 , 30 and 35 pounds for chest flies and up to 40 pounds on dumbbell chest press. I do 20 pounds on concentration curls and up to 40 pounds for hammer curls. Triceps are usually lighter sometimes I can do 17.5 pounds for overhead triceps, but mostly do 15 pounds. I do 12 pounds for seated clean and press and 12 for side laterals, today was higher for shoulder press and I surprised myself.

I can bench press with a barbell up to 135 pounds for 1 rep. I have just started barbell squats at 50 pounds. I can leg press on the machine 220.

My back isn't as strong.

I know it is hard to do heavier weights at home.
