Hi ladies,

Today I taught my Dance Circuit workout to 7 ladies [emoji16]who braved the wind and cold.

Still a learning curve with this one but I think we did better. The new lady from Wednesday came back so that was good. This one is about 50 minutes long.

Then I did 50 minutes of weight work including abs and floorwork legs.

Now I need to change and go to the bank and Wal-Mart.

My shoulder blade feels much better today [emoji3]

Have a great day and workout!![emoji2]

Hi Annette. I’m glad your shoulder is better. Life is so much easier when your body cooperates!

Henriette, I still giggle when I think of you using baby Mick as your 15 lb weight. It’s so cute. I hope his sleep is getting better. You’re certainly getting all your steps in though.

Linda and Siobhan, how’s the blender going with the new workouts? Having fun? Do you ever do blender workouts that someone else created?

Missy, nice to see you! Glad you’re feeling better and doing some nice workouts.

Elsie, how’s the new place? Are you all settled? I feel bad that you had to move again just for some peace. I hope you feel at home.

Hi to our newbies.....if you’re still with us.

Today I was feeling better and did Mixed Impact from the new set. I didn’t do any upper body and just subbed some lower. But Cathe really does a great job hitting the hamstrings and glutes. Have a great night everyone. It’s absolutely frigid here.

Today I felt not so hot for most of the day. I did the usual cleanup and organizing a bit, and nothing physical. I started feeling better after dinner. I will say I went over my daily points for WW, but used the weekly extra points they give you. I've lost 2 pounds since Christmas.

So I felt pretty good after dinner, so I did the Cardio Shred Fit Split. I did it on a 4 inch step. I have to say, this area of my fitness is weak. Doing high impact jumps tends to hurt my calves. I wonder if I'm doing it wrong or if I need to build up my stamina a little bit. I burned 267 calories in 26 minutes. I find that she tends to do the tougher blasts earlier in the workout, or at least that's my perception. I think it would be a good idea to incorporate this kind of training into my routine. Maybe I need to shock my system a little bit.

I'm glad I did it though! I had a high dread factor, but it wasn't horrible!

Hi Ladies,

Annette - thanks for getting us started again. Good to hear your shoulder is getting better.

Peg - Mick's sleep is pretty good. Some days several long naps during the day, other days just one really long one and a couple of shorter ones. Also depends on how many other things I need to do on the day. If he's had a bottle and some attention for an hour or so until he gets real tired and I then go for a walk for at least 30min with him, he can get knocked out for 3 hours or so. This gives me time to workout, do laundry and other organizational things at home. Each day I think tomorrow I will read more... but that's just not happening. My workouts have been my priority when he's had a good nap and for the rest things around the house just take a lot of time. So during the day he is a pretty good sleeper. Most nights he just wakes once for a bottle, so I also can't complain about that. Only last night he woke up at 2 and at 5, but now it's 9.30 on Saturday morning and he is still asleep. I hope the next night will be different as we have a baby swimming class planned for Sunday morning at 9. Let's see what we think of that.

Missy - glad to see you are checking in again. And thanks for reviewing Cardio Shred. That one also has a dread factor for me with all that high impact... not sure my shins can handle it and also my pelvic area is not fully recovered from giving birth, so I think I will wait a little longer.

Friday I did Fit Split Low Impact Cardio, skipping the stretch and moving on to KCM Bonus step on the Strength and Stamina DVD. So two shorter cardio workouts.

Low impact cardio started out so so, not my favorite so far... but then gliding discs were added and it got more fun. However, if you are not a fan of discs then this low cardio workout may not be for you as discs were a big part of it.

Bonus step was really fast moving... I used two riders on each side and felt I was racing to keep up. It was fun though and the music kept me going especially when I got tired. There's some high impact in it and also some step boxing. Overall a fun, short workout.

My whole body seems sore from the Fit Split this week, but that could also be from the interrupted sleep... not fully recovering at night.

Have a good weekend ladies!

Hi Everyone,

I took a couple of rest days just due to work - tired out from burning the candle at both ends.

Good to see some of you are trying out fit splits.
