Today is going to be legs - L&G or GS Legs. Hmmm. I wonder if I could combine the 2 at least parts - I may check what premix there are on GS.

Today is the day my daughter flies to France. Safe trip thoughts appreciated!

Tammy - I agree glad it's Friday (I'm going to work from home in the pm). How old is your son who wants to study abroad?

I have a phone screen today - not sure if it's a fit or I'm qualified but nonetheless :)

Still trying to finalize plans for next week with the friend for drinks/coffee. Not easy on email. Have talked to my other friend on his month long trip. Nice having 2 good guy friends :)

Oh well have a good day all. Can't wait to read all your inspiring workouts!

Today is PUB tri's/MM tri's, PUB bi's/MM bi's. It calls for abs today but don't think I will. Did those yesterday.

Tammy- I'm with you, I'm so glad to be able to sleep in tomorrow.

Robyn- I bet you can make a great workout between the two leg workouts!

Hello, happy Friday! I slept in this morning so tonight I will do Leaner Legs + shoulder work followed by a nice long bath.

Robyn, good luck with your plans to get together. I spent 20 minutes on the phone finally with one of my friends before we could agree on a restaurant to meet at. This of course was after 2 weeks of emails!

Tammy...Yesterday we finally had a SUNNY day!!! Very cold though...WAY TO GO on 5 unassisted chin-ups!!! I can do 3. I do most of mine assisted with a chair for the P90X workouts. I do 9 or 10 that way.

Sandra...that is great you noticed improvement with Imax2...that is a tough workout. Thank you for the nice words...

Pamela...I got a Yoga sub right away for the recovery week. I would also forward thru about 25-30 min of the beginning of the P90X Yoga and then do the rest. I have Baron Baptiste and Bryan Kest Yoga workouts that I do for subs.

I am doing Bodymax upper body, P90X CardioX, and a 3 or 4 mile run.

Okay, I feel like slug this morning. Slept late (7AM), my older son missed his bus. I had to quickly change comb my hair and take my younger son in his PJs to bring my older son to school. What a sight we made:eek:

I hope to get in 100 walking lunges,abs and a nice stretch while my preschooler is at school. :D

Good morning everyone:

I'm soooo glad it's Friday. This week as been really good for eating clean and exercising - but - now comes the weekend and that's SOOOO MUCH HARDER, especially when we own a bar and grill. UGH!!! }( Evil things to eat and drink there. BUT, I'm very motivated and hope that it will be OK.

We are headed over to the neighbors tonight for a "few", but I'm going to bring my scrapbooking stuff and do something while we talk, maybe I won't eat and drink as much if I'm busy working, too.

Any other suggestions?????

Hi good morning, today I start a new Slim Series slim training rotation. Today I will do Shape it Up,Turbo Jam Cardio Party Remix, Turbo Jam booty sculpt & abs and stationary bike. Robyn I hope your daughter will have a safe trip.Happy Friday everyone.

I just wanted to say GS Chest & Triceps is truly a masterpiece. When I was doing the push-ups, I took mini breaks in between sets 10 to 15 seconds or more. I adore this workout. I finished the workout about 10pm and for some reason I couldn’t fall to sleep to save me life, I did around 3 o'clock.

I’m guessing my endorphins level was high, probably cuz I was so pumped while doing this workout :) I LOVE IT! ;) ;) ;) Today, is my rest day :p

Morning ladies. Well, I'm finally feeling better today and am itching to workout. I was listening to the radio on my way to work today and "Cold As Ice" by Foreigner came on and I kept playing the choreography from IMAX 2 in my head. Now all I want to do is go home and pop in IMAX 2. I'm still shooting for Monday to start cardio again. My cough is still pretty deep.

Tammy - ahhhh, sleeping in. Remind me what that's like? Sounds dreamy :)

Robyn - not sure what a phone screen is, but I wish you the best of luck with it!

Wendy - I'm curious about what Cathe cardio you actually choose to do.

Carole - BM upper body is an effective workout in only 30 minutes. I'm looking forward to seeing what she's got in store for us with BM2.

Jeanette - Meaner Legs! Always a great workout! Have a nice bath.

Elaine - you may not have done it the "proper" way, but at least you got your son to school. Some times that's just the way it goes. And the younger son probably thought it was a hoot going out in his pjs!

Marica - I think that's a great plan to bring something to keep your hands busy. Maybe bring a healthy snack that you won't feel guilty about eating?

Teddygirl - you're motivating me to give the GS workouts a try. I've been dreading them, to be honest. Maybe after I finish my current fatloss rotation I'll do a strength rotation. Regarding your dvd choice: if you already have the Intensity Series, then get the SB/SJP dvd. Terminator has 3 really intense, long workouts but SB/SJP has so many premixes, and both workouts are fun, fun, fun. If you want solid steady state cardio with lots of variety, get SB/SJP. If you want intense circuit workouts, get Terminator. You won't regret either purchase.

Katie - so glad to hear you're finally feeling better! How do you like IMAX3, compared to your beloved IMAX2?

I got on the scale yesterday and am please to say that I'm only 8 pounds away from my prepregnancy weight. Woohoo! Tonight for me will be Cardio Kicks.

Late again today. Can you tell I started my new job?

I did a 6K run on the TM this morning. Well, I think it's a 6K run judging by how long I was running. I recalibrated my Polar for road running and now it's totally off on the TM. It actually said I ran 5K in almost 43min. Not even in my beginning running days was I that slow. I usually run an easy 6K in sub 41min.

I then added on PLB standing ex. with a stretch of my own. My legs felt great. Still feel great;-)

BTW, finally found a 3-days/week running schedule for a 1/2 mary. I'll be comparing it to my own schedule in just a few minutes.

Well, I must've had it in for myself today! This is what I did:

Imax 2 w/u
Imax 2 intervals 1-2-3 on 6" step
10 pulse lunges on each leg with light weights
Low Max blasts only 1-2-3 on 6" step
20 alternating lunges and
10 plus lunges on each leg with light weights
Imax 3 intervals 1-2-3 on 4" step
15 pulse lunges on each leg with light weights
Imax 3 cool down/stretch
ME Abs with 8 # medicine ball

It may not look like much on "paper" but let me tell you...Can anyone say OUCH!?! }( ;)

Just a quick note to say I did 150 walking lunges, CM #2, and Total body stretch #2(could have done more of this but time is running out)

Yes Sandra, my 4 year old thinks it is great to wear his PJs outside.The problem I have is getting him to get dressed.:D

Teddygirl, I also love the GS. I feel strong and pumped after I do any of them and, like you, not the slightest bit sleepy! :D

Marcia, I enjoy scrapbooking too, but I'm dreadfully behind right now.

Today was P90X Legs & Back and AbRipper X. Funny, this time I was completely wiped out whereas last week I felt pumped like I could do another work out. According to my HRM I burned 759 calories (Polar F11) so maybe I just worked harder this time? Anyway, it was a good workout even though I still can't complete AbRipper X.

Hey ladies,

Just got through with PUB/MM tri's and bi's. My arms are like jello! My muscles are twitching big time! Whew, I'm glad that is over!


Posting in here the past two weeks has really kept me being faithful to my workouts. After tomorrow I am done with week one of my rotation. I have never been that far in a rotation before. Thanks ladies.
