HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!

Here's my post for today, before I get too caught up in work:

Did MM-UB with light weights. Then a 6K Tread Mill run with CC #4 (the third challenge is really tough) and finished off with MM-legs. I felt exhilirated (sp?) and pumped with endorfines.

I noticed when coloring my streaming colors calendar, that I have been neglecting my abs. That'll be my goal for next week ;-)

Morning Dutchie and all who follow!

It's FRIDAY!!

That's quite the workout, Dutchie. Wow!

Last night I was supposed to run but I was having stomach issues and knew it wouldn't go well, so I did the SB/SJP Cardio Circuit premix and SJP abs and planks instead.

I will put my run in tonight. 4 miles. Also biceps today, which I'm off to start right now. Maybe;)

HAPPY FRIDAY!!!

Great work outs Dutchie and Shelley!

Today is IMAX 3...this blasted Jan rotation has you doin' waaaay too many IMAXES!!! :p

TGIF!:+

Hi Dutchie, Shelly and Wendy and all that follow.

Great workouts!

I dont feel great today and would like to stay in and sleep but I have some meetings I can't miss. My son is tired so is sleeping in a little late. I just don't want to risk him having a seizure, sleep issues seem to be the major reason for his.

I didnt work out last night. This has been a pretty low workout week, in fact. Guess I'm disapointed on the job (though I did get a very nice email from the hiring VP that she was very impressed with me and will keep me in mind for another position and wants me to keep in touch). I've had a lot of job hops since 99 - so probably good. I feel kind of silly about my friend for drinks and misconstruing things etc. I'm glad that he wants to stay good friends but nonetheless some disapointment.

Not sure if I'll take another rest day if not I'll post later.

Sorry I'm not more positive and energetic today. Hopefully things with my son will be fine though.

Hey, Robin - I hope you feel better later today. Maybe taking it slow is really what you need. Take care of yourself, okay?

What should I do today??? I had KPC scheduled, but guess what? Boot Camp, Muscle Endurance and GS Legs came in yesterday evening!! Since it's a cardio day, should I try BC? Do you think I can get it without watching it through first? I've done parts of it in the Gauntlet. I consider KPC cardio with emphasis on legs. Is BC comparable?

I'm all excited about my new routines! I was drooling over them last night as if they were solid gold bars.

Good morning ladies

Sandra...Imax4????...I can already feel the pain...:)...way to go with S&H. I haven't done that series for awhile.

Annette...aren't new workouts so exciting to get!!

Wendy...sounds like you did a good sub for MIC hi/lo...:)...I do hope Imax3 goes by fast for you.

Robyn..it is good to have guy friends. I have one in church, he is like a brother and a very nice man. I do have a neice in CO, but she is already spoken for. Sorry about your brothers divorce though..:(
I don't always feel positive and energetic myself...don't worry about it as you have had some ups and downs this week. I hope things get better next week...:)

Good workout Dutchie. Seems like alot of ladies here are using Cardio coach, it must be great!!

Shelley...I agree stomach issues don't make for a comfortable run!

Shannon...BC is tough but hey...go for it!! it can be modified...:)

I am doing P90X Legs & back and a 4 mile run.

Have a great day...:)...Carole

Good Morning Fit Chicks!

Today for me will be P90xCoreSynergistics.

Robyn: I hope you feel better soon. Shannon said it perfectly. (((HUGS)))

Shannon: BC is a blast...go for it!

Wendy: IM#3...you CAN do it (um, better you than me, LOL!)

Shelley: I love working my biceps...with my back coming in a strong second.

Dutchie: I did CC#4 on Sunday....that is a tough one.

Carole: Enjoy your run!

Hello to all that follow...have a great day!

Morning ladies. I'm running behind so a quick check in this morning. Today was PUB followed by cardio only from All Step. I was actually surprised at the fact that I didn't struggle that much during PUB. I guess not ALL of my muscles disappeared in my 2 month hiatus from working out.:7 We'll see how much DOMS I have tomorrow.

Hope everyone has a great Friday!!!

Katie

Hi Everyone!

Wendy it DID seem like it, didn't it?? (joy from your suffering)}( I have to say I feel the same way though...better you than me!
I just am not an Imax 3 fan!

Today's workout was just FUN, nothing strenuous or hard. StepFit was on the rotation and I really enjoyed it. I'm not sure if I'd EVER done it all the way though before, I suspect I tried it when I first got it and was frustrated with the choreography and forgot about it. This time I went right through it and really had fun. I'll have to use it more often!!:D
"Was that a sheep???" LOL

Robyn, hang in there. You've had a lot on your plate lately! I hope it gets better soon.

Happy Friday everyone!!!

Good morning,

Yesterday I did SH shoulders, Low Impact Step (on 8" to increase the intensity), and CoreMax #1. Tonight's workout will be KickMax. I'm already dreading the front hammer-kick lunges ;(

Dutchie - excellent workout!

Shelley - stomach issues. Yuck. I'm glad you're feeling better today.

Wendy - LOL! Cathe's high intensity rotations tend to be very interval-oriented, don't they? But at least the IMAXs are fun. Enjoy your workout today!

Robin - I'm sorry about the job and that your friend only wants to stay friends. Two big disappointments at the same time, on top of the stress you deal with about your son's seizures, is a lot to handle. Maybe just a light workout would help you feel better? Get the blood moving a bit and help improve your mood? Just a thought.

Shannon - I'd strongly recommend that you preview BC. She makes a lot of very fast equipment changes and you need to be ready for them, or you're going to get frustrated at having to start and stop all the time. BootCamp has great cardio in it, but not as much as KPC. If you want long cardio, stick with KPC. You're going to love the BC/ME dvd!

Katie - that's terrific that you didn't struggle so much with PUB! I love that workout. Don't you feel so pumped now? I might do it tomorrow, if I can figure out how to fit it in along with some high intensity cardio (time is an issue).

Becky - StepFit is a great workout, I agree. I especially appreciate the long warm up and stretch segments.

Have a great day everyone!
Sandra

Good morning everyone,

Sandra, Carole, and Shelley, I hope you enjoy your workouts. They sound tough! :)

Becky and Katie, sounds like you both had great workouts today.

Robyn, I hope you feel better soon.

Hi Annette, hope you're doing well -- you've been in my thoughts and prayers.

Dutchie, I'm always neglecting my abs, but I confess it's not wholly unintentional. ;)

Tammy, I'm also scheduled to do Core Synergistics today. Any tips on how to accomplish plank to chaturanga run? I just can't seem to hold the chaturanga position.

Shannon, don't you love getting new workouts?! BTW what did you end up making with the barley?

FYI Carole, my new running shoes are GREAT!!!! I couldn't wait until Monday. I went out to the park today to check out the trail, and just walk it a little so it wouldn't be a complete shock on Monday (I can't help it, I'm a planner.) I'm so glad I did. The park had a lot of hurricane damage, and I just didn't get a good vibe from it with so many trees gone. I went to the park closer to my house, and it was wonderful. I ended up doing a 40min run/walk. Since it was overcast, the sun wasn't beaming, and the breeze off the lake was wonderful. I could have gone longer, but this is supposed to be my recovery week. Anyway, so far I feel great. I don't feel like I've been pounded into the ground like I usually do after a run outside. (FWIW The extra cardio was totally necessary due to consumption of birthday cake and chinese food while celebrating my dd's b-day last night. :D)

Today is Core Synergistics, and I already completed a 40min run/walk.

Happy Friday everyone!
Pamela

(Edited because Core Synergistics is today, not tomorrow.)

>I think Tammy is getting waaay too much joy out of my
>suffering! :p

LOL! :7:7:7

Oh Wendy, I just really wanted to do that rotation, but changed my mind at the last minute. Now everyday when I read your daily check-in... my whole body gives a loud sigh of relief!

Hang in there though, I'm living vicariously through you this month!}(

Pamela ~ this was my first time doing CoreSynergistics. My I've got a LOT of work to do. Those plank to chaturanga runs require a lot of core strenghth. I'm not there yet either.

Sandra: I dread those hammer-kick lunges too ~ good luck!

Lisa: Enjoy your rest day.

Becky: Those older workout are fun and they do pack a punch!

Katie: Great workout...I LOVE the cardio from AllStep!

Thanks Shannon, Carole, Tammy, Sandra and Pamela.

You guys are the best.

I did a WFH today (Work From Home). I still am not out of my flannel PJs and it feels great.

My son slept until 2:00 so we defintely had something.

My friends have been really nice about this week - all except for my other very close guy friend.. grr...

Hi all,

Pamela, thanks for the continued prayers, I just got off the phone with my dad and while he is still getting the legal stuff done he is still getting choked up if you talk about it too long. It will be a long recovery for him. Thanks again for the prayers.

Carole, I got my Billy's Bootcamp 2 pack today and after doing my weight workout I tried the Cardio Bootcamp one and it really kicked my tail. I do like getting new workouts.

I did PUB chest and back and then did Billy's Bootcamp Cardio Bootcamp workout which is actually interval workout complete with abs. I was sweating big time and will have to work up to some of the moves. But it was fun and different.

Hope you all have a great day!!:7

Hey everybody. Step Fit today. Love those steady state cardio days when no nosebleed blasts!!

I'm working this weekend but I'll check in after my w/o tomorrow afternoon.

Tammy and Becky...:p you both! LOL :)

Sandra, and yet ANOTHER imax come Thursday!!!

I had no desire to do IMAX 3 this evening but I sucked it up, put on my w/o clothes and got started. I was actually starting to feel good about doing it when...ACK...my knee started to ache! I got through the warm up and the first step combo okay but once I really started jumping around during interval 1 I knew it was no good so I stopped. ;(

I popped in the ABC work out I just purchased instead. It's low impact and I was dying to give a try anyway. :+

I banged out 150 crunches at the end...just for fun!;)

So, I got a little over an hour's work out in...just not nearly the intensity that was planned for the day!

TOODLES!:+
