Morning all you fit women!

Last night was a 4 mile run and core from Power Hour. I also did triceps yesterday.

Today is leg day. My hips are sore from my run last night, so it should be interesting. I will also do either Imax 3 or Body Max, omitting the upper body conditioning section.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day! Work hard;)

Good morning Shelley and all that follow..

Today is short cardio day for me.

IMAX 2 w/u and int. 1-3, IMAX3 int. 4-6 and 1 minute of plie jacks. I'll also be doing CoreMax #2.

Happy hump day everybody!

Good Morning Fit Chicks!

I don't think I can put shoes on today (nasty blister), so I'm going to do Muscle Max and some extra ab work.

Shelley: Sorry to hear about your hips...hope they feel better soon. I feel your pain!

Jane: Your workout today may be short, but it is going to pack a punch!

Wendy: How are your DOMS?

Hello to all that follow...have a great day!

Hey Jane and Shelly and everyone who is posting later.

Hmmm.... sounds like an Imax day. I was going to do KM but maybe I'll follow your league. I've been in maintainence mode these days. I'm thinking next week I bring it up a level. It's school vacation week and I'll be taking a few days off to college hunt!

You know how the interview didn't work out. Well i decided to stay put... and wouldn't you know I heard from a place where I sent my resume! I had a very good phone screen. It's a start up 30 people, but funded by a big company, sounds like a passionate group, and it's in my area of expertise. It's in the city and I'm thinking that could be a fun change. Anyhow HR is passing me on to the hiring manager who liked my resume initially! He is travelling this week but hopefully I will get a call for a face to face next week.

Well I have to get my son up for school. His best friend won #1 in x-country skiing in the state yesterday! Very cool.

I'll post later when my workout is done.

Funny got an email yesterday from my guy friend who had the drink with. Was it a date/yes/ oh no it wasn't let's be friends. V-day was always a taboo day for corresponding with guy friends - especially someone who there was dating confusion. My best guy friend thought it was a classic blunder, my brother very nice and friendly! Keeps life interesting and at least we are good friends.

Hi ladies.

I'm seriously considering taking a rest day today. I still am not up to par and don't want to start feeling WORSE because I'm pushing it. The rebounder I ordered got delivered yesterday so with my free time I may rip open the box and attempt to get that thing together instead!:) Once I am better I will pick up on the rotation where I left off...

Shelley, sendin' lots of leg love your way!

Jane, one minute of plie jax? YIKES!

Tammy, no DOMS-I'm very surprised! Have fun with MM!

Robyn, have fun with IMAX!

Hi everyone,

Still on week 2 of the Feb rotation, today was a 45 minute run, but I don't run so I subbed Christi's Totally Hot Cardio and then did Coremax 2. I might do weightwork tomorrow to break up the back to back weightwork at the end of the week.

Have a great day

Good morning, everybody! GREAT workouts too!

For me, I was up early for today's workout:
6.5 mile run (used the Boot Camp workout for the intervals and hopped off for the core work)
abs from Boot Camp
triceps from CTX.

Feeling good!

Have an awesome day! I love hearing about everybody's workouts!

Gayle

Morning ladies! Today was SB. I think the next time I do this one it's time to go to an 8" step. I was worn out by the end, but not begging for mercy, so it's time to kick it up a notch.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Katie

Greetings !
**Nice workouts everyone **

Wendy- a rest day in that Jan. rotation is not a bad idea. It really pushed my limits. I had to keep telling my self it was 'only' 4 weeks.

Shelly- I hope your hips are just tight and not injured. Perhaps a bath and extra stretching might help them feel better?

Robin- congratulations to your son's buddy!!!!

Tammy- I hope those blisters go away quickly. What will your wear for MM instead of WO shoes? I once did PH with birkenstock sandals because I bruised my pinky toe. (klutzy me)

Hi- Katie, Connie and Gayle ( PS how is the rash Gayle? )

Oh yea my workout- Leaner Legs plus 30" of interval cardio: 15" TM & 15" bike.

PS-I was feeling shin pain on the TM so I hopped on the bike to finish. Perhaps I needed a longer warm up before sprinting? Who knows? I do know when I have completed longer runs, they have to begin with a long warm up and slow pace. Not until I'm about 3-4 mile into the run can I get up to the 8mph pace or better with out some kind of pain.
I don't think it is fatigue.

Hi, Judy. The rash SEEMS to be subsiding. I was given steroids and some anti-itch stuff and the steroids really seem to be drying out the rash. We'll see. Thanks for asking!

Good morning ladies

Shelley...hope your hips feel better.

Good workout Gayle...BC corework is a killer...

Wendy...a rest day might be a good idea.

Judy...have fun with Meaner legs!

I am doing upper body from something and a 5 mile run...

Have a great day...:)...Carole

Good morning, all you fit ladies -

Lots of good workouts going on here, as always. Isn't it fun???

Today I'm going to try a cardio mishmosh. Don't know how it'll work out, since I only have a single DVD player (with VHS combo). But anyhow, I'm going to have to do some switching out. I'll try to keep jogging as I switch. Here it is:

Imax 3 Blasts + Low Max Blasts + Boot Camp/Cardio only.

I usually do LM on a 10-inch step, but I guess I'll keep it to an 8 inch today, so I won't have to switch levels between the Imax and LM.

If I don't post tomorrow, you'll know I'm still passed out on my living room floor. :7

Morning

How is everyone this lovely lovely morning :) The temp is around 50 degree here in Ohio. I’m getting spring fever.

Any who, this morning, I did a workout I haven’t touched in over a year Imax 1 :9 :p I love the music and workout was fun.

Tonight, Pour Hour Abs and GS Chest & Triceps can’t wait….

Well, say a prayer for me today. Today marks a month since my mom passed and I was in the shower thinking how cheated my kids are for not having a grandmother when I had my own grandmother long enough to give her great grandkids. It just isn't fair! And now I am crying. sigh. Not the way I wanted to spend this day, sigh.;(

I did Billy's Cardio Bootcamp with ankle wieghts and weighted gloves this morning!!

Annette....I'm sorry....you might go thru this from time to time. Of my 4 grandparents, I only knew 1...and I don't feel cheated at all!...sending http://www.geocities.com/shangrala_shangy/hugs2.gif[/img] and prayers your way....:)...Carole

Good morning,

Yesterday I did PS Biceps, and IMAX. I forgot how Cathe does those barbell bicep curls on single counts with 45lbs. Her style has sure changed over the years. I got through IMAX on some very tired legs. The nice thing is, IMAX no longer has a dread factor for me. I can do it with tired legs because I don't find the blasts so bad anymore. There's lots of recovery time between blasts, too! IMAX3, KickMax, and HCExtremes have been great for improving my stamina.

Shelley - be careful in your workout today. I hope you don't aggravate your hip anymore.

Jane - nice to see you back again! You're putting in some doozy workouts! I can't believe what you're doing today, after what you did yesterday and the day before! (I can't imagine doing 1 minute of plie jacks, especially right after doing them in IMAX3!). I want some of whatever you're on! :)

Tammy - oooooh, blisters are so annoying. I hope you heal quickly. I'd love to make some rotation suggestions for you some time :)

Robyn - that's very exciting news about the job! What is your area of expertise? Have fun with IMAX.

Wendy - You deserve a huge High Five for doing that cardio yesterday, when you were feeling do lousy. Enjoy your rest. It worked very well for Jane!

Conni - I haven't done any of Christi's workouts since I was pregnant. I'll have to dust them off soon. I really like THC.

Gayle - interesting way to run! I like it. Good work!

Katie - you're seeing great progress! Did you post from work today?

Judy - great workout! I have no problems with my CTX dvd. I think you should exchange it, if it's skipping.

Carole - you skipped your workout yesterday? That must have been a *great* massage! Nice!

Shannon - If you can do that workout without passing out, you're a freak! :D I mean that in the kindest way. I'm out of breath just reading about it.

Teddygirl - IMAX is a great workout, isn't it? Enjoy all those push ups today!

Annette - I'm so sorry about your mother. My DH's mother passed away before we had children, and I constantly regret that my girls never knew her, and that she never met them. She would have been a terrific grandmother. My first DD is the spitting image of her. Good for you for doing your workout. I hope it helped you feel a bit better.

Today for me is Pure Strength Chest and Shoulders (in the morning), and Legs (in the evening).

Have a great day.
Sandra

Well ladies, my rest day turned out to be a LIGHT day...LOL My rebounder was delivered yesterday so I got it together today and, ofcourse, once it was ready to go, I couldn't just let it sit there now, could I!? }( :p ;)

I did the very basic/instructional rebounder work out just to get the feel of it today. I will not do anything further. Tomorrow if I am not up to re-starting the Jan rotation still, I might do this basic rebounder work out again but that's it so long as I am not feeling any worse. I don't have a fever or feel SICK right now, I just have a soar throat...

So this rebounding thing is a lot tougher than I imagined! I felt it in my entire lower body! The work out I did was only 15 mins from beginning to end and I was TIRED when I was done! I even really felt my abs engage-which, lots of times when they say that about an exercise that is not DIRECTLY working the abs, I don't find it to be true!!!

Okay, I've babbled on long enough!

Have a great day everyone!:)

My w/o is finished. I did what I posted above and yep those plie jacks were in one of the IMAX3 blasts and Cathe had me doing another minute of those?? The rotation called for 45 or 60 seconds of plie jacks, so I opted for the minimum of course, not that 15 seconds is a long time but it can be forever when you are doing plie jacks!!

I added CoreMax #2 and boy have I lost some strength/balance. I was struggling on those knee roll-ins that I have gotten almost effortless at. I have to work on this!!

Good to be back. Sandra... after the January rotation, these types of w/o's aren't all that scary to me anymore. We had a month solid of 1 1/2 hour w/o's that left you shaking. It really built up my endurance. After taking a week off last week, I jumped right back in and didn't feel like I had to build up any endurance at all.

Looks like everybody is doing great!! See you tomorrow!

Hi everyone,
Yesterday was crazy so I wasn't able to get online, nor did I workout. Plyo X was on the schedule, but I had two glasses of wine with dinner, and I fell asleep before completing my workout.

Today was a 30 minute run and P90X Back and Biceps. DD has a basketball game tonight, but if I feel up to it after the game maybe I'll try to do that plyo workout today since I did have a little chocolate yesterday.

Annette, you continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. Although I haven't lost a parent, I have lost a sibling. My brother died unexpectedly just months after my dd was born. I too regret the fact that my kids won't get to know him. He was so excited about my pregnancy and my dd after she was born. I really feel for what you're going through right now. There will be many bad days, but eventually they will occur less often, and the pain will lessen to a deep wistfulness, but you will get through it. It's been ten years, and I still miss my brother like it was yesterday, and I still wish my kids could have known him, but the pain isn't raw and overwhelming like it used to be, and in time your pain will also mellow. Take care, and know people are praying for you and your family.

Pamela
