Daily Check In: August 5, 2005

Good Morning Fit Women,

Anyone up yet?
Yesterday was Core Max 2 and Stretch Max. Also a hike up the mountain with children for my cardio. I had to ocassionally stop to wait for my children as they were not keeping up! LOL!

Today is my rest day, but I want to do Cathe's 400 walking lunges that she has posted for today tomorrow.

Good Day to all who read this.

I am having my morning coffee and it is pleasantly quiet here. Today I will have TWO tennis matches back to back, so that will certainly cover my cardio committment. Then I have GS shoulders only and abs. (I omitted abs yeaterday) And a short leg endurance segment.

I must confess, yesterday I didn't feel like 400 walking lunges. I had had enough time in the 90+ degree heat after walking the golf course. So, I did 4 exercises from the Timesaver leg DVD.

Tonight my DH and I will have a date. yahoo!!!

Hey Charlotte,

Yesterday was one and two segments of coremax, could not get around to segment three. Oh how disappointed I was!He!He! And I did the floor legs of plb starting with the inner thigh squeezes till the end. Doing the outerthighs on the ball twice.

Today is GS CT premix,64 pushups,200 crunches, 100 dips. Wanted to push some of cathes rotation with my routine. Let's see what happens!

Charlotte, haven't done those the walking lunges yet, but I bet they are a burner!

Kim,

Today is the third day from those walking lunges and my legs are still achy. I can't wait to do 400 of them tomorrow with 15lb dumb bells. YEAH!

Good Morning, Ladies!

Today ME, PLB floor & GS Legs floor.

Today is errand day. Have to go to the bank and pay some bills. Tonight my hubby is taking me out too! We have not been out together just him and I in a very long time. My mom is keeping my boys! Yay! He is taking me to The Oyster Bar. My favorite restaraunt on the beach. Can't wait!

Good morning everybody,

Last evening was LowMax and abs from C&W.

Today is MoveMax AGAIN. Everyday now since Tuesday but DH is home today and the big pieces of furniture are getting moved. I am helping him here at home to get them loaded and then my brother and DD's BF is meeting up at the apartment to help carry that furniture up two flights of stairs. Yikes!!

Today is strength/endurance day for me so I will decide later what to do.

Good Morning Fit Women!

So I have been using my omron to test my fat %. It says my body fat has gone down by roughly a half of a percent in about the past month. Does that sound feasable? I sure hope so! The scale isn't moving (yet) but as long as the fat is moving I'll be happy! :7 :p :)

Today C&W is on schedule according to the rotation. I have a busy day ahead of me though so I don't know if I'll be able to do this. I may have to adjust my rest day or something...we'll see.

I have to give Joey (and myself lol) a bath and then head up north to a friend's job so that she can help me out the invitations for the Christening. I want to mail them out today! After that I will head over to the local Cheescake Factory to meet my first Cathe fan, Sandy(worknprogress4life)!!!:7 It's like a super-mini roadtrip for me! LMAO!:p After lunch I am headed to my aunt's for a vist and then finally to my mom's. Phew! I'm gonna be tired later! lol

Gotta run for now...

Well, no workout for me today :( . I just couldn't get my lazy butt out of the bed this morning and now I am paying for it, because I am mad I didn't get to workout! x(
Oh well, I just do an extra long workout tomorrow to make up for it, hehe!

I just got done with the rotation feel PUMPED!
I really felt those walking lunges today! x(
I did them on the side of my house so I was able to do 20 each way.
It was tough but well worth it. By my 3rd set of dips I was ready to fall on the floor, but I squeezed those babies and got thru it!:7

Hi, everyone!
Today is my DAY OFF, and it is going to feel good not to work out! I can't believe I just said that. But I have definitely pushed myself this week, and it all starts over again tomorrow.

I hope everyone has a very good weekend. One of the best things about it is that I don't have to go anywhere near a computer, after sitting in front of one non-stop all week. Of course that means no Cathe forums... but I find that it's actually worth it. Besides, I do have the Cathe workouts!

Sandra...yes my nephew is a chiropractor and his sister is a Physical Therapist, although she is in Colorado!! It is nice to have them to take care of their trail running and sometimes tripping Aunt..:)..sorry about DD's ear infection. I had those frequently when I was a kid. In those days it was the penicillin shot in the butt..

Angie...yes this was the worst fall I've had. My ribs are feeling ALOT better so I am thinking it might have been more of a muscle injury...Have fun on your run!

Annette..I ice about any kind of injury I get. 15-20 min 3 times a day.

Judy...nah, the bruises are not pretty at all. But I am feeling great. I can touch my ribs where they are a bit sore but it doesn't hurt as much to laugh or cough anymore. Good luck in the tennis matches.

nada for me. Just rest. Yesterday I did IM3, PUB up & the abs, and PLB stability floor work, plus 100 walking lunges. I'll save my energy for the gym on Sunday. Have a great day everyone!

Good morning everyone!

Well, on the rotation I'm doing, today was a 30 minute run and segment of Coremax. The only was to get that run in was to get up early this morning, so I was up at 5:15 and on the road. It was super easy, I think because (a) it was only 30 minutes and (b) I wasn't awake yet!

I will do the Coremax segment later.

TGIF!!! This is my last day of work before my vacation:D

This morning was ME. I'm beat! So many leg presses... so little time.

Tomorrow I will dare to attempt running. It's in the rotation I'm doing so I'm going to take a stab at it. Historically, running has been... well... darn near impossible for me. We shall see how tomorrow goes... :p

Good morning,

This morning I did KPC cardio conditioning drills. Took out the impact, and still felt like I got a good workout.

Jes - no, Peter's feeling fine these days, thank heavens, and my immune system must be in overdrive because I have yet to pick up a germ in this pregnancy. Keeping my fingers crossed that I'll get to the end without picking anything up. I like the sounds of your gym workout. I give you a lot of credit for finding creative ways to continue to exercise, despite your neck/back problem.

Wendy - have you sent DH to live with his parents until the infection is gone? :) You're going to meet Sandy today?? Very exciting! Have a great lunch!

Jane - how long have you been staggering your calories? Is it working for you?

Carole - unfortunately, DD is allergic to penicillin and that family of antibiotics. So glad your ribs have healed up well!! I'm trying to think of relative who has such a useful job for the rest of the family, but no one comes to mind.

Shelley - are you travelling for your vacation, or staying home? Enjoy your time off!
