Hi gals,

Today I stayed home and did a workout here.

I started with an Yvette Bachman Cardio Kickboxing but internet went out 13 minutes in, so I finished with Cathe's CTX series the Kickboxing one just the warm up, kickboxing and arm drills. So roughly 45 minutes between the 2 of kickboxing.

Hi Annette and all still to follow,

It's been quite an unusual day today. I worked from home due to another root canal appointment this afternoon. Then after work I drove the boys to bball before picking up Mick from daycare. He had just been put down for a nap but of course when he saw me sleeping was out of the question.

In the end Mick fell asleep in the garden just after 7 while I cooked and amazingly he stayed asleep all evening. So I managed to cook, eat... relax and chat a bit with the bigger kids and then I did the newest Cathe Live: Advanced step in the living room so I could check on Mick every now and then. He slept through the whole thing. Now that I am done I have moved him inside and he is still asleep! I hope this doesn't ruin his chances of sleeping through the night which he has done more or less the last two nights.

So an unusual evening. I am so used to having a baby on my lap while I try to eat and then going for a walk after dinner so he can have a short nap. Usually back at home he will wake up in the middle of my workout and chill with his dad and then I rush my shower and getting ready for bed as there is a tired baby that wants my attention. Tonight my bf was not home, so I am extra pleased Mick stayed asleep so I could do the whole workout. And did I already mention that I loved it? If you enjoy Step you must do it!

Hi Annette and Henriette! Annette what did you think of Yvette? I enjoy her workouts but that kickboxing one was different. I wasn't a fan of it. She has MUCH better workouts for sure.

Henriette I'm so glad you had a nice evening. Did it feel like a vacation? I'm definitely interested in the Live step class Cathe did today. Was it a sweat fest or more steady state? I think I'll do that tomorrow.

Work has been crazy, life is the norm. Where is Linda? I'm worried about her. Missy, Siobhan and Elsie...HEY!! Hope everyone is doing awesome.
 
Hi everyone! We are still hanging in there! Wanted to say hi to everyone.....I have been keeping up with my workouts pretty good, can't remember everything...last night I did a blender compound & low impact mix and
Just finished the upper body blitz premix on Kelly's Split Sessions dvd.

Hi Peg,

I have done one of Yvette's before and had to modify a good bit. This one would have been 45 minutes had I been able to finish it. The one I did a few weeks back was over an hour in length and I managed to do about 55 minutes of it.

I am finding that I have more stamina and endurance for Cathe's workouts now, which is nice.

Hey gang, haven't been checkin' in as I have been home most of this week, therefore no sleep, etc. Just babysitting the twins on Tuesdays as they are with their Dad for a little while .....didn't feel like imposing on my friend, if you know what I mean.

Nice to see you all ....you are so busy!! : ) Linda, been thinking of you and your Coco.,, ((belly rub)) Annette, must be nice to stay home some days or do you miss the gym? Henriette, very happy to hear that your abscess is being dealt with .....such an interruption for the day-to-day right? Hey Peg, so sorry you are having so much trouble staying asleep ..... have you tried that melatonin-magnesium lotion yet? Did you get Spring Break with the kiddos? Of course you are steppin' Missy!! You must be hoping for a step routine in Cathe's upcoming series.
