Daily Check-In - April 12/06

Hello, fellow exercise fanatics,

Last night, I asked the instructor of the kickboxing class to make the cardio extra long. He is the manager of my gym, and his kickboxing is awesome.

Tonight, he gives a very intricate double bench step class that it quite difficult. I take it every Wednesday night. Before that, I will try to fit up some upper body weight work. I am still struggling to lose weight, and I looked at some of your picturetrails, and you are all so beautiful.

How do I make the signature with glittermaker?
 
Hi, ladies:

I am going to try to start checking in here again (that is, if no one minds :) ). I really need to buckle down and get this winter weight off. I took before pictures and thought GAH! Not good, tsk. Sugar and I just don't mix.

Anyway, today I did GS C/T timesaver premix as I am still worried about re-injuring my funky elbow. It's only 32 min but still a good workout for me. I also did Box & Bounce on my rebounder, which was a blast! It's part of the Urban Compilation #2, in case anyone is wondering. I am really enjoying the change-up from step. I actually can't wait for Cathe's boxing workouts... someday!

Hi all,

I managed to workout though I have a sore throat and my ear maybe starting to twinge some. I did the warm up, kickbox and hi/lo segments off of CTX 10-10-10, then the abs off of All Step along with the stretch.

This morning I did Step Blast. And of course, I had a blast.

Carole - yes, we're moving into a brand spankin' new house on May 3! I'm dreading the moving process, but can't wait to be in the new house!

Tammy - PP and SS are my very favourite weight workouts, although I don't do them very much because, unless you do the premixes, they aren't as challenging as her others (IMO). I lightly pepper my rotations with them, as a "treat." :) I started ETL a week ago, exactly, and am really happy with it. I am not doing the 6 week fast weight loss portion of it, because I just can't drop my calorie intake that low while nursing and exercising. I'm doing his "maintenance" version, but without any animal protein, and eating whenever I want to (not just 3 meals a day, as he advocates). I love not having to watch my portion sizes - I'm still getting used to the idea that I can eat as much fruit as I want. I love fruit. I also lost 3 pounds this week, which is pretty good considering that I'm really not hungry. Let me know when you get the book!

Laurie - ooooh, I hope you get in to see the dentist really soon!

TiGGer must still be down and out. Ugh.

Phyllis - the biceps in SS are surprisingly tough. Good job doing them twice!!
