Morning all!

How is everyone this fine Hump Day?:)

I managed to get my run in last night - about 3.5 miles. My hip was okay, but I felt it twinge a couple of times.

Today is biceps, core and my fave KM/SB/SJP mish-mosh:)

Have a great day!

Good Morning Shelley and all who follow!

Shelley: Great work outs! Not such a fine hump day for me...working on about 30 mins of sleep total! ARGH!x(

Today calls for MM L/B premix + GS Legs Floor work...if I can stay awake long enough I will do it. ;) Seriously though, today may be a rest day depending on how I feel...

Shelly- what is your Mish Mosh? It sounds challenging. Oh, and good going on the run! Did you stretch well after wards?

Wendy- If you can't do it dontt sweat it:eek: . Or maybe you can stretch today, and pick up with your rotation tomorrow.

I am doing a 6 mile run today and CTX shoulders. It was fun doing LL yesterday; I had not done it in a long time.

HI SHELLY and WENDY!!!! HOW THE HEC ARE YA??? Miss you guys and this check in!

Glad you're not having too much trouble with your hip Shelley. Hope it stays that way! Thinking of you always.

Wendy if you're seriously overtired rest. You'll just feel worse tomorrow if you push yourself on that much sleep. Just listen to your body and you'll know.

Have a great run Judy!

I'm on Week 2 Day 3 of Butts n Guts and doing fine. I ordered Kickmax which was Monday's workout but I swapped with today cause I knew it would be here!!! I have some DOMS in my legs tho from L&G's yesterday so I don't know what I'm going to feel like later! Wish me luck!

Then I'm off to work and some UB work tonight after we get my son's First Holy Communion suit altered. I can't believe he's receiving. Where does the time go??

Hello and Happy Hump Day to all you Lovelies that follow! Have a great day!

Good Morning Fit Chicks!

Today for me will be GS Legs and some ab work.

Hello to all that follow....have a great day!

Hi Shelley, Wendy, Judy , Kali and all who follow!!!

Yesterday I was dragging all day so all I did was 45 pathetic minutes on the stationary bike.

Today I am rested and have my energy back, so it's full steam ahead (RUDOLPH)!! }(

This morning I'm doing StepBlast and CTX biceps & triceps.

Have a GREAT day everyone!
Hang in there Wendy and nap if you can!!

Hi again!

Wendy - at least with the GS Legs floorwork, if you fall asleep, you're already lying down;)

Judy - the mish-mosh is actually Mattea's invention. It's KM w/u and blast, SB Blast Challenge and SJP hi/lo. I add on the abs from SJP. It's a burner, that's for sure.

Kali - nice to see you!

Becky - I salute you for doing 45 pathetic minutes on the stationery bike. I hate those things!

Tammy - have fun with GS legs:)

Hi ladies -

I just wanted to check in and say we got back from the hospita Sunday. What a grueling 5 days - basically you have to go against every Mom instinct to get the information the MDs needed. Based on this we have a new diagnosis and meds. I PRAY these meds control his seizures and don't have too many negative side effects.

It's a long haul but we are hanging in thee, his Dad was a great help (my ex) I even slept at home 2 nights and he stayed at the hopital, most the nurses and MDs were amazing.

He is still getting use to the meds, and making up for the sleep deprivation so he stayed home monday and yesterday went in 3rd period and today 2nd.

I just read all you kind thoughts, prayers. Thanks so much.

I hope before long to be back with you

Good morning all!

I just got back late last night from 6 days with the in-laws. The bad news is, other than a lot of walking, I didn't get any workouts in....the good news is, my MIL is a terrible cook, so I didn't eat much either!

I'm planning on BootCamp today, amongst all the laundry and unpacking.

Shelley and Judy - in my secret, fantasy life I am a runner too. How long have you guys been running and how did you get started?

Kali - is the Butts and Guts rotation in the files? Those sound like my 2 areas of, ahem, need, and I am kind of floundering around rotationless at the moment.

Everyone else - have a great day!

Tracy

Hi everyone -

Robyn, I'm glad things are looking up for you and your family and hope those meds work! My thoughts are with you.

Yesterday I got a good workout in, all upper body, but already miss my cardio. Today is an unexpected day off, dang it. I opened a bag of salad greens last night, only to discover they were bad. Had to send the entire mess down the garbage disposal. So now I have to make an emergency run to the grocery store - can't live without my salads!!!

I am going to try to find a quiet place at work for a lunchtime stretch, at least. The shin is a tad better, but walking still bugs it.

Daily Check-in

During my lunch hour yesterday, I ordered the CTX Series on DVD as well as Low Impact Step as my reward for reaching my first goal of the year.

I passed my first big test of this challenge last night. I drove home after work and ate a small garden salad with a few ounces of grilled chicken and homemade honey mustard dressing before I met my friends at Cheddar’s to celebrate a friend’s birthday. I ate a plain baked potato at the restaurant and drank a glass of ice water with lemon. I did great and had a good time with my friends. I can do this! Yes, I can!

I did the second segment of Total Body Stretching again last night and IMAX2 this morning. I am finally starting to master those straddle taps!

Robyn, I will keep praying!

Blessings,
Heather B.

“So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God” (1 Corinthians 10:31 NIV).

My plan is to do a batch of chin-ups and take a walk later accompanied by my beloved XM Radio MyFi, most likely tuned to the Southern Gospel station!!

RE: Daily Check-in

Good morning ladies

Shelley...even my hip seemed to be a bit sore the last 2 days, not sure if it was just the side of my butt though...:)...seems alot better today. Sounds like an interesting mish mosh!

Good morning everyone,

Robyn - I am glad to hear you are back home, I hope this process goes well, and these meds do the trick.

Today was MIS. I really think this and MIC are the most dated of the Cathe's I own. Just have a hard time with that hair, I think!

Have a great day!

Good day to all. Let's see:

Shelley hip, Wendy rest, Judy accident!, Becky spin, Tammy legs, Robyn prayers, Shannon salad, Heather good job!, Carol run, Tracy in-laws, Phyllis 8 inches! Hope I got everyone. Today is a cardio day and I think an IMAX is probably due. I'm expected to reach for 3. Do great things with the day you all.

Morning ladies! Today was ME! Boy, I sure am feeling all the weight work I'm doing in this rotation. I'll be interested to see the results I get from doing more weight training and a little less cardio.

Have a great day!

Katie

Hello everyone:)
I did Bootcamp this morning and it was pretty tough. The first interval with the airjacks is really hard. Well, I got through it and felt great. I have a few hours to myself this morning without the girls so I am off to do laundry and maybe a tiny nap. Have a great day everyone.

Susan

tracy-
I am not really a runner yet. My suggestion is to gradually increase speed and distance. Start walking and increase speed gradually during each run/walk if you can. Increase distance slowly too. I think I read 10% per week is what Carole recomends and I also read it on Cool Running too. Try checking out the cool running web site.
