Hello everyone. I hope you are getting activity and rest as needed. I would prefer not to start a "daily injury" check in ;). Today I did Toby Massenburg Afterburn. It was nice but I'm pretty sure I cheated my way thru it. Many breaks and modifications....but I did it till the end. I'm hoping to go see Beauty and the Beast at the movies tonight and start some spring cleaning...blah!

Today I went to the gym and did an hour on the elliptical machine. I must be a glutton for punishment [emoji23]. But I would really love to lose a couple more pounds before going to the wedding on Friday.

OMG, an hour on the elliptical, Annette! I'm good if I stay on it for a 20 min. Workout! Today has been the usual,
Cleaning, laundry, and grocery store. I did get in a 30 min. Mixed boot camp circuit blender mix, with the weight
Work focusing on chest & back. Thinking about doing a Gin Miller Ramping workout later....I haven't pulled that
Ramp out in a long time. Need to do that! Have a good evening.

I did Cathe (High Step Challenge) warm-up, Jessica Smith Power Interval Walk for 30 mins & Suzanne Bowen Sleek Tech/Plank w-o from Gorgeous Core.

I have basically spent these last 29 hours trying to get a couple of viruses removed from my computer. What a bloody headache!
 
Good Sunday morning to all..... I really like High Step Challenge too Elsie, and I like High Step Circuit (that's my favorite of the high steps)...
I did do a ramping workout last evening, Gin Miller, that is so much fun....don't know why I don't do them more often, I have most of Gin's
Ramping dvds and also Leslie did a few "ramping" workouts, but she called them "Walkblaster" workouts. I have those as well, so I'm gonna
get in one of those this week, hopefully. Don't know what's on the "workout agenda" today, we'll see ! I should go to the wellness center,
maybe I will after church.

Linda, can you expand more in this? I like walking workouts (not Leslie, however) and at times, can get really into them. How is the same or different from walking workouts?
 
Hey Elsie, the ramp is a device that is like a half circle and on a small incline. It has 3 sections on it, a larger
Middle section which is blue and two smaller sections on each end they are green and purple. The ramping
Workouts are walking based and you use the ramp by stepping on it, not like on a step, but forward pressing,
Moving down the color sections, etc. it's kind of hard to explain, but it' fun....also, Gin usually uses a 6 count
Waltz beat,like...right,left,right..left,right,left....they are low impact workouts, but you do backwards walking,
V backs, lunges....Leslie's workouts for the ramp (or walk blaster, same thing) are fun, but a little boring....

After church, I went to the wellness center and did 15 min. Each on the elliptical, bike, and treadmill using the
Beatburn apps for each on my iPod. I hopped on the ab machine and headed home....after letting my lunch
Settle, I did a 30 min. Leg Press Circuit blender mix. That is it for awhile.....maybe later I am going to do one
Of the Petra K. & George Foreman walk DVDs. I have that set as well and they are so lighthearted & fun. I like
Her personality and George is so funny in them. Everyone have a good day.
 
Well, I'm back, and I think done now for the day!!! I did 10 min. On my elliptical with Bitgym and did a 30 min
Petra & George Express Walk DVD. She is just too cute. Her smile is "catching"....I find myself smiling thru the
Workout as well :)
 
Hi Everyone,

Today I did my own lower body workout + cardio and abs. I added on a segment of 10/10/10. I haven't been around as DH was out of town which made things busy. Also, I just couldn't sign in! Anyway - things are back to normal for now.
 
The ramping sound quite interesting, Linda. Great job today on all of your workouts & of course, your workout for the spirit!

Is DH back now Ceci? That must be nice ....bet you missed him.

I only slept 3.5 hours last night & then had a very busy day just running on coffee. Gonna take the evening off. See you all tomorrow!! :)
 
Ramping sounds interesting. Something I would enjoy on low impact days.

Unfortunately I did not get around to doing any workout on Sunday. I spent the morning scanning approx 500 books into Goodreads before heading off to an international fair at my son's school, with lots of food from around the world and my highlight.... the book stall. Used books, but in good condition, so I added 15 to my collection and spent less than 8 euros doing so :)

Once back home it was just way too nice out, not to sit and enjoy it. I think it was close to 25 degrees, which is so rare, so I spent the rest of the day in the garden reading and chatting with my bf and we had a lovely bbq for dinner. That means I totally neglected all household chores and my w/o, but as good weather is rare, we have to make the most of it.

Now, Monday morning it is 10 degrees and the temps are meant to go up to 11 degrees this afternoon. What a difference with yesterday!
