Am I really the first one, or did I miss this somewhere? Well, happy February fit ladies! Today was KPC which was not easy since I have some DOMS from SJP yesterday (I knew I would:7 ).

Good Morning Fit Chicks!

Today I am going to try SuperSets UBB for the first time, then the step portion from MIC (I like that one a lot!) and some ab work.

Katie: KPC is my favorite Cathe kickboxing. I would imagine it is difficult to do w/DOMS!

Goodness, we're getting around late this morning.

Today is my off day. I thought about working out anyhow, since last week was so dismal, but there's absolutely no way I can make up for missing THREE whole days! So I'm just going to pick back up with my regular routine and put last week out of my mind. However, I'll probably give myself a good stretch tonight!

Happy Hump Day, everyone. We're on the downhill slide.
 
Hello everyone,

Am supposed to do a 7K run today. Not sure if I can do it, as I'm waiting for a phone call. Call was supposed to be around 1PM, it's almost 3PM now! x( Instead, I'm on the internet ;-)

Son no #1 is off to the Belgian Ardennes for a survival trip with his class mates. They'll be rafting, rock climbing, cave exploring, etc. I would have loved to go with him.... he did not appreciate that. So I didn't.

How old is your son?
My youngest (daughter) is 14 and her class went to Washington DC.last year. She wasn't thinking having MOM come along was the coolest thing either....so I stayed home too.:-( So I know how you feel.
Your son's trip sounds more like my kind of thing though!
How long will he be gone??

Katie, I really enjoy KPC too. Today is Kenpo X for me, which I like, but I've considered switching to KPC because the music and combos are a lot more fun.

Tammy, sounds like a good mix. Upper body is one of my favorite areas to work -- probably because I feel I can really do more of the exercises.

Shannon, enjoy your rest day. I'm am looking forward to my stretch day tomorrow.

Katie...I'd think KPC would be tough with DOMS!!

Tammy...SS is just fun to me....but I've only done the Lower Body Blast, its a killer!

Shannon...don't even worry about the 3 days! Picking up with your regular routine would be a good idea...:)

Dutchie...sounds like a fun trip for your son...:)..can't believe he didn't want you coming too...

Pamela....your runs will be much more enjoyable with the right NEW shoes...:)

I am doing P90X Chest, Shoulders and triceps, AbRipperX, some freestyle legwork and some step. Glad I am not running today...as it is raining outside...:)

Hi Ladies.

Today calls for the first 5 intervals of Interval Max and the step portion of MIC...WELL, since I don't have either work out, LOL, I am going to do the 2nd half of IMAX 2 and the step portion of Body Max. I hope I survive! :eek:

I got up waaay too late to do ANY of it this morning...I practically just rolled out of bed a few minutes ago. I was up until after 3am last night. I couldn't fall asleep to save my life x( so there was no way I was gonna be up early enough to work out. :-( Guess I'll actually have to do this all at once at nap time!:eek: :eek: lol

I haven't participated in the Daily Check-In for quite some time, but Dutchie asked where I've been, so I thought I'd join back in, if that's all right with y'all:)

Seems like everyone is working out as hard as ever.

Last night was a 4 mile run, back and core from SJP.

Today will be MIC and chest (already did my five sets of 12 push-ups this morning before work).

Good February morning!

Yesterday I did SH back in the morning, and IMAX3 in the evening. Man, that's a terrific workout! For me, it's hard enough to be challenging, but is not impossible. And like all the IMAXs, it just flies by.

Katie - the lower body weight work in SJP is challenging, isn't it? Two fun workouts in a row for you. Cool.

Tammy - is SS UBB the one where you do it all three times? Wheew!! Enjoy!

Shannon - good strategy. Enjoy your day off.

Dutchie - I'd have love to have gone with your son, too! That sounds like a really fun trip.

Becky - so, how did it feel to do LM and SJP step? The February rotation has a lot of running in it. Do you plan to run, or insert a different cardio?

Pamela - er, did you meet your friend for coffee yet? Did I miss that post? If tomorrow's your stretch day, what was today's workout?

Carole - it's a real power day for you today. Enjoy!

Wendy - great substitutions for IMAX and MIC step. Insomnia sucks, doesn't it?

Shelley - wonderful to see you here again! Nice workout yesterday. If you can do 5 sets of 12 push ups, does that mean you can do all those push ups in GS Chest, too?

My girls appear to be getting better, and my own cold is still only mild. Hopefully the worst of it all is over. I'm concerned about the baby having an ear infection. I don't know if she's just discovered her ear and is playing with it 'cause it's new, or whether it's bothering her. She doesn't have a fever and her mood is good, so I guess I'll just give it another day or two and see if it starts to bother her more.

Today is a SH day for me. I did SH biceps this morning, and this evening I'll do SH Legs, triceps, and abs.

Hi Carole -

Noticed your ref to P90X. I'm considering getting it to rotate with my Cathe w/o's - good investment? DH is interested also. Or is it a program you need to follow sequentially for results? DH wants to do that anyway.

Just noting, you have alot of great workout advice/rotation suggestions.
 
Sandra - I'm not sure if I can do all the push-ups in GS Chest. I haven't tried since Christmas. I probably could if I took slightly longer breaks than uber-super-Cathe does in between sets:)

Dutchie: Wow! What a wonderful adventure for your son. It is hard to let go, but eventually we have to give them their own space so that they can discover who they are...((HUGS)).

Becky: A tough workout....LowMax is just a fryer for me, it gets me everytime!

Pamela: I love UB workouts too...enjoy your workout today, whichever one you choose!

Carole: I'm still waiting for XChest/shoulders/triceps. I LOVED SS UBB. The music is great, now I have to try the rest of the premixes...as well as the whole workouts. What about Push/Pull?

Hi everybody,

I did 42 min. of legs, shoulders and abs today including parts of PUB, PLB, LL, and PSSL&A!! Kinda hit it in spurts because my oldest ds was having trouble doing his math so inbetween/and while changing workouts I helped him.

Carol/Tammy - Sorry I didn't give you an update on coffee/drink!

So we had a really nice time. Met for a drink and talked 5:30 - 8:30
Conversation really flowed, we laughed alot. Founds we had a lot more in common. It was really nice. I figure worst case we remain friends and he is there for my son as coach. Anyhow now the waiting game! I hate this part! Patience is so not the thing I like. I did send an email I had a nice time. Hope I hear back. I've been talking a lot to my friend who is 1/2 way around the world a lot with IM and Email. It's nice.

So no clue what I'm doing today for a work out. I did CK last night. I'm thinking of a week of Kickbox for the cardio. Today will be some lifting. I'll post when I've done it!

Hello everybody... I just finished LowMax and step only from SJP. Day one of the February rotation. I am rebelling a little against these long w/o's after the January rotation, so I'm glad I got this one over with after my two rest days.

Hope everyone is well. Got some work to do around here so gotta run.
