Hi good morning everyone. Yesterday I did Shape it Up of the Slim Series, TJ cardio part nº 1 and TJ lower body blast. Today is the rest day of the day. I will do Power Half Hour stretch and Stretch Max too. Have a great day everyone.

Good Morning Mariangeles and all who follow,

Mariangeles: I am going to get a good stretch in today too. My body feels fried and needs it.

Yesterday: Viper plus calf raises and tibialis anterior toe pulls.

Today: Gym style chest and back, gym style legs (floor work only) and a stretch max plus some of my own stretches. I have to finish cleaning today too.

Good Sunday morning fitness folks...

Yesterday was a 5K competitive run, shoulders from PUB, Timesaver, and All Step, and CoreMax #3. Whew....

Today is a segment from StretchMax and 12 minutes of abs that was on Friday's schedule I didn't do. I believe I'll do the abs from PUB. Those are about 8 minutes so I'll add another set from Ab Hits.

Hey Cathy, yes the weather was perfect unlike last year when it was in the 20's when I got to the race about 7 and had only "warmed" to the 30's when we started racing!!!

I did okay but not as well as I'd have liked to do. Last year my time was 27 min 28 sec, this year 29 min 27 sec. My daughter did well also, came in a little while after me but she doesn't run as much. DD's best friend, someone I consider a second daughter, won her age category 20-24 years old with a time of 23 min 21 sec.

It was a good day. :)

Today is my rest day and I need it! :)

I'm working a side job today with a friend to make some extra cash. I'll be gone all day long...Daddy will be in charge of the little one! :eek: lol

Yesterday was my daughters baby shower (it was a blast!) I did have a small piece of cake, but scraped off the icing, so it wasn't so bad!
I did S&H shoulders and coremax #2.

Today is stretchmax, which I'm looking forward to! Also Dh & and I going hiking. Should be a great day for hiking....will be in the 60's today and sunny!

I am feeling like I am getting a cold. Anyone have good advice for something to take as y ou feel it coming on???

Good Morning Fit Ladies!

I slept in late today....gosh, am I the only one that loves to sleep in late on the weekends?

Anyway, today I'm going to give CardioKix a try for the first time, and then I'll do the entire MTV Pilates Mix workout.

We are going to my Mom's house for a birthday celebration for my brother and my sister, so I'll be staring at a piece of cake at some point today:7 !

Mariangeles: Enjoy your stretch...much needed after all of your hard work.

Jane: Enjoy your stretch too...I'm amazed at what you accomplished yesterday...well done!

Wendy: Enjoy your rest day too...don't worry Joey and his Dad will be just fine today;)

Great workouts so far!!

Becky...try Airborne. That worked well for me last year. Just remember to put the tab in water...:)

Wendy...hope DH survives with Joey all day duty!!!

Tammy...I have only recently gotten Cardio Kicks...I do like it though. KPC is still my fav of Cathe's kicboxing.

Went for a grueling 10 mile trail run this morning...on a course than had been closed for over a year due to a fire. WOW...we are having these strong winds and the course was a bit beat up. I bit different than I had remembered it. I know when I tripped once the wind prevented me from falling!!! I did give my left ankle a nice twist though...:(...

Carole....KPC is still my favorite Cathe kickboxing too....I liked CardioKix better than KickMax though.

I hope your ankle is okay...we have had 60 mph winds here today too.

I agree about Cardio Kicks being more fun than Kickmax. Thanks, I am going to be icing my ankle and then I'll see my Chiropractor (my nephew) tomorrow and let him adjust it...WOW, I know our winds were not 60! That must be more like running on a Treadmill!!....:)...Carole
 
Hey Tammy/Carole... wow 60 mph winds... you should have been in NC today, it was a gorgeous day!

Carole, I hope you ankle heals up fast. I am still hobbling around a little bit myself. Mine is just this darn RA in my ankles. They are a little peeved at me after the 5K on pavement!:p

I just finished 15 minutes of abs, the set from PUB and the Power Hour ab segment from Ab Hits.

I also did StretchMax #1.

Where did the weekend go? You blink and it's gone!:-(
 
Hi Jane!

I sure do wish I had been in NC today. Our weather in the NorthEast has been horrid for more than a week now. But, it is just a precursor to the long winter months ahead.

I hope your ankle feels better soon Jane...but knowing you, it won't slow you down any!

The weekends do go by too fast....blech!

I hope your nephew can help the ankle feel better fast!!
A 10 mile trail run! Wow, that makes my 4 mile hike in the woods seem like nothing!
But it was perfect weather and felt great to be outside hiking!!
I didn't fit stretchmax in, but I'll add it on one day this week.

Thanks for the cold advice.......Airborne and Vitamin C...I'll try it.:)

I'm with you Jane, the weekends go by waaaaaaaaay too quickly!!
