Mariángeles, you're early today :) Have a great vacation. Are you staying home or did you book something?

Had a big birthday party with friends and relatives yesterday for my son (overhere we celebrate kid's birthdays twice, once for their own friends and once for the family). Had been baking and cooking for two days to get everything ready. No weight gain though, but no work outs either. Well, life is back to normal :) At least until the 14th. Then the handyman is back to do some work, after which my cousin and I will have to lay a new floor together. I'm sure it will screw up my w/o's again :)

Today I did a 5K run and GS chest.

Good Morning Mariangeles and Dutchie. Great work outs ladies!

Today I am thinking of doing Power Hour for the first time. Yesterday was Low Max Premix # 2.

So I was on Ebay and found a used full size step (no risers but I'll pick them up else where) for $5.00 plus $10.00 for shipping. I figured that wasn't a bad deal at all so I jumped on it. I was doing Low Max and trying to complete the drop-squat/pendulum move on my skinny little step with out falling off and it wasn't easy so I am really excited to get a full size step! :)

Okay well I'm only up because I had to feed Joey. I usually stay up for a few minutes after I put him back down to sleep to make sure he is quiet so that I don't have to get up out of bed again in 5 minutes if he's fussing. All seems to be quiet so I'm off for some more shut eye. If DH wasn't in the very next room I would actually CONSIDER doing my work out NOW but my work out room is next door to the bedroom...I don't want to wake him up with my GROANING! ;) :p }( :7

Hi Wendy and Dutchie.I don't know if I will stay at home or not.Have a great birthday party.Wendy I am sure you will enjoy PH. I am really thrilled with the P90X series. I am in the day 3 of the week 2.I can't believe it but with P90X I am not losing weight in general but I am losing inches.Each day I am doing the P90X workout and I use my stationary bike too. That's all.I clean up my diet too but I am not following the P90X eating plan.If I am seeing results now I can't wait to see the results after the 90 days.

Good Morning Everyone & Happy July 4th!!

Okay yesterday I posted BEFORE my workout, which I don't normally do. And now I see why!
I said I was going to walk "Death Hill" (and do a s&h workout) . Well I DID to the workout, but DH woke up wanting to go do other stuff instead of walking and then it just got too hot to go later! So I lied to you, no death hill!! Today we ARE going and if he doesn't want to go, I'll go alone. Also have s&h chest & triceps on my rotation and will TRY to get it done, but with it being a holiday I might rest and do it tomorrow. We have plans to go out to my mom & dad's place in Indiana for the day and then this evening come back home and have my daughter, her bf and his son over for a cookout.
Its gonna be another HOT day here, so I think I'll go wake up dh right now to walk!!
Just in case.....from now on I'll post AFTER my workout is finished!!! ;-)

Dutchie-We are remodeling too. My DH gets too excited about demolition. Scares me!!

Wendy-PH is a great w/o. But aren't they all!! Waking up to little ones-I don't even remember what it's like! I can't even imagine him being a little baby!

Becky-I know what you mean about hot! I live in Florida. It is so dang hot and humid! I don't know how we get used to it! But I love it here!!!

Today was MIS. I feel like every muscle has been worked to max. Love that feeling.

We are having a cookout today, so I am off to get things ready. I want to workout in the yard too.

Hello Check in regulars :)

I have been sticking to my workouts but modifying ans needed. I started the Fat Loss Hard Core Rotation and did week 1 so far. My PF has acted up to the point of not being able to run. Yesterday was a run on the rotation and after 10" on the TM I had to get off. Fortunately we have a semi recumbent bike. My cardio will have to be mainly biking until I get this under control. Dang-it-all I was seeing nice results with running 2-3 times per week and doing mostly interval cardio. Perhaps my flooring really needs to be improved? We still have basic carpet padding, & berber carpet over cement floor.

Today is abs and stretch. Happy 4th to all

Wendy- How did you like PH? When I first bought it I did a mini rotation with PH and Cardio Kickes for 6 weeks straight every other day.

I had a crappy run yesterday...:(...but today things should be better. Doing one of the Terminator workouts, the one with Imax2 and C&W. Freestyle legwork, abs, shoulders, tris and bis.

Last night I did MuscleMax and used my new 20 lb dumbells for the one-armed rows. Wowser! It was great! I really have trouble with the jackknife crunches in the core segment of that workout.

Tonight I'm going to do KM Bootcamp Challenge and then tack the leg conditioning drills onto the end.

Dutchie - you may miss your w/o's when you start laying that floor, but I bet you'll get a w/o doing that!!

Wendy - congrats on the full size step!! I can't wait until my DIL gives me hers. It is in storage along with the rest of their stuff until their house is completed in the next six weeks. The army has their things and is stored about an hour away. She didn't offer to go get it, and I didn't ask if we could go. It was enough for her to give it to me, I just need to be patient. I don't have PH, so let me know how you like it. BTW - how do you like your body fat analyzer? Where did you order it? I looked at Bed, Bath, and Beyond and they didn't have a hand-held one, only on built into a scale.

Becky - I didn't get in the walk I planned yesterday with DD either. It was storming all afternoon and evening.

Carla - I love MIS too!

Judy - I'm sorry about your PF flaring up. I know how you feel. When my RA flares up and I am in top exercise mode, I just scream.. "not now, not now!!"

Carole - sorry about your run yesterday. Every day is different isn't it? I love the Terminator w/o's.

Shelley - do you like MM? I have ME, PUB/PLB, MIS, and soon to receive the Gym Styles (two of them - I won't have legs). Do I need MM? How is it different? Of course, I WANT all of Cathe's w/o's but if what I have covers what MM does, then my money is better spent on another w/o.

Tammy - IMAX3, yikes... I'm sweating just thinking about it. Love that w/o though!!!!

Yesterday I did an upper body w/o I put together from the TimeSaver DVD from BB. It was a good 50 minute w/o or so. I used the stretch from PUB.

Today is CleanMax and my rest day. As usual though on rest day, I'll get in a CoreMax and a StretchMax. Maybe DD and I will get in our walk.
 
Jane, I think if you have all those weight workouts, you're not going to find much different in MM. I could be wrong though. I only have it and ME. I'm going to pick up PUB/PLB when we are on the road trip, and then order Gym Styles later on.

This morning I did Step Max. Now that I'm in my 30th week, I'm executing Stage Two of my Master Pregnancy Plan, and taking all the impact out of my workouts. Step Max still have me a great sweat and seemed about right.

Judy - your PF problem sounds really, really frustrating. I'm glad you at least have the alternative of using the bike.

Jane - I need more details, please, on your Timesaver BB workout :) How did you make it last 50 mins? Doing all the segments as-is takes about 25 mins, if I recall correctly?

Okay, Hi again!!

Just checking back in to say that I DID accomplish the "suicide walk" up death hill. (thank you Tammy for the new term, it fits!! :p ) WHEW! I was sweaty when I reached the top, but feel GOOD!!!:D
I have incredible DOMS in my legs from yesterdays s&h legs and hopefully that will help stretch out the muscles and not just put DOMS on top of DOMS! LOL

I also realized reading someone else's post yesterday (was it Christine?? Welcome Christine!) that I've never really introduced myself either! I just read the boards for a while until I felt I belonged and then chimed right in......but I should tell you who I am!!! (they don't have an icon who is blushing, do they?)
My name is Becky , I'll be 42 later this month and have 3 kids. A son who's married and 22, and daughter getting married next month who is (TOO YOUNG!!!) 19 and another daughter 14. They grow up so quickly!!!! I love SUMMER and the beach but live in Ohio, not anywhere near water. :-( I love to read,walk, workout, go camping and do just about anything outdoors in warm weather.
It's great talking to everyone here. Everyone is so supportive and creative and fun and I really enjoy checking in each day and getting motivation from everyone else. and I WISH I were going on the trip with all of you. It sounds like such a blast!!! Can't wait to hear all about it.

Hey Sandra.... I could be wrong on my time but this is what I did....

TS #1 -

warm up from SJP
chest/triceps

TS #2 -

back/core

TS #3 -

biceps

TS #4 -

shoulders

I did the stretch on TS #4 but it didn't give me enough upper body stretching IMO, so I did the stretch off PUB.

There was alot of stopping, going back to the Main Menu to pick another TS segment. I need to learn now to program my DVD player.

When I finished, my HRM said I'd exercised 58 minutes. I trimmed off the 8 because I knew I burned up at least 8 minutes stopping and inputting the next w/o. I could be wrong and burned up more than 8 minutes doing this. Perhaps the two stretches and the warm up made up the rest of the time.

I have only used my body fat analyzer once so far. I think I am going to use it only once per week. I would have used it this morning since it's the beginning of a new week but I forgot and had some of my coffee already before I remembered so I will wait...I think I am going to LOVE it...so long as it goes DOWN and not UP!:p
This particular analyzer has gotten nothing but good reviews from the other ladies on this site who use it, BTW.:)
 
Good morning! Ahhh, it is so nice to be off of work, enjoying a relaxing day of... DECK BUILDING! AGH! :p No, really, it's not that bad because I'm not actually doing any of the building. DH and FIL are taking care of all the hard work. I just have to keep them hydrated with Gatorade and take pictures of their progress. And get them lunch and snacks and cook dinner and go to Lowe's when they run out of deck screws... geez, it's hard work not building a deck! ;)

The deck is coming along nicely and I hope to be sitting on it, sipping lemonade by this evening. :)

This morning I did Muscle Max, just like you Shelley. I briefly considered using 20lbs for the one-armed rows, but the 15lbs that I used turned out to be PLENTY. Maybe next time... I also have trouble with those jackknife crunches. My legs do not stay together and straight like Cathe's. I need to tie my legs together with rope or something. :eek: I did bicep curls with 25 lbs on the barbell for the first time ever - it was VERY challenging for me, but I made it through all the reps. My biceps were screaming, but they'll thank me later, I'm sure. :p I have the weakest upper body EVER, but it is getting better. I did the entire first set of 12 pushups on my toes - woo hoo! :)

Evily - you sound like you're exactly where I am with MM. I do the biceps with 25 lbs too, and just make it through. And I can do the first set of 12 push-ups on my toes. I sometimes make it through part of the second set.

And that's exactly my problem with the jackknife crunches.:)

I'm glad the deck extravaganza is going well. I wanna see pictures!

Workout accomplished for today. It is my rest day but I usually get my core and stretch w/o's in on that day.

Now off to ShopMax or in my case, WindowshopMax.... :p

Going to Carrabba's with DD. Going prepared this time.... I want that coke with grenadine... so I'm taking my own caffeine free diet coke and and letting them take it from there.....
