Hi good morning everyone, yesterday I did Tear it Up of the Slim Series, TJ cardio party nº 2, TJ 20 minutes workout and the step and sculping part of the Cathe's low impact step/body sculping dvd. Today I will do Share it Up of the Slim Series and TAEBO live advanced nº 2. Have a great Sunday everyone.

Hello Mariangeles and all who follow,

How do you like SlimSeries Mariangeles? I have'nt previewed my Power 90X yet, perhaps this week.

Yesterday: Meaner Legs &Abs, GymStyle Chest and Clean and Errand Max.

Today: S&H shoulderes, GymStyle Leg (floor work). Finish CleanMax plus I have to go into work for a few hours. If I get back at a decent time, I'd like to fit triceps into my schedule but it looks like I'll be cutting it close.
We had a nice cool day here yesterday (in the 70s only) but its suppossed to start heating up again for the upcoming week. Quite unusual for early fall.

Good Morning Mariangeles, Cathy, and All the other Fit Ladies on the Check In!

Yesterday I went for a run, and I am feeling it today. I am so glad it is cooler so I can run outside again. I would like to go again this evening, but my FIL is comming home from Iraq for the week. We have to pick him up from the airport. Then we are going to dinner.

So today I did Core Max 1 and CTX Step and Intervals.

The workouts are good muscle workouts but if you're looking for aerobics, you'll need to add more cardio. They aren't very cardiovascularly challenging, so I am adding Turbo Jam, TAEBO and Cathe's workouts.

All of the Slim Series workouts are high rep/light weight workouts except Cool it off but it is a stretch workout.The weight work is non stop - and you do lots of reps (so you use a lighter weight). Sometimes she uses compound moves, other times, not... but giant sets are frequently used. The high rep stuff is tough! I use more weight than Debbie, but not a lot more because there are soooo many reps!The workouts are repetitive and very similar but I sweat like crazy and I am a advanced exerciser. The music is boring.

I like all the workouts except Tone it Up. I can't mantain a good form doing a bicep curl etc. when I am doing compound moves (upper/lower body simultaneously).I prefer the Cathe's endurance weight workouts like ME, PH or CTX upper body split.

Firm it Up and Shape it Up are my favorites. Firm it Up is a lower body unweight workout with lot of reps.No weights are needed but if you want to up the intensity, you can put on ankle weights.Shape it Up is a 78 minutes workout (like Tear it Up).This video uses opposing muscles groups and contains many compound movements

Good Morning.

I'll be doing cardio and abs today.

I normally do weight work on Sundays but I'm temporarily switching up my rotation to give Cathe's October rotation a go and I start tomorrow w/weight work! I will be adding more cardio to this rotation though...not enough in there for me since I am still looking to lose several pounds!

Mariángeles..as usual you have a great workout in store for today..I got a good deal with Slim in 6 but it is most likely easier than your Slim Series!

Cathy..can't wait to hear what you think about P90X. I have actually toyed with the idea of doing the leg part only, twice of Legs & Back for Freestyle...

Carla...I definitely prefer running outside myself. Good workout today..

Wendy...the Oct rotation looks great for the upper body..

Yesterday was KickMax Blasts and KickMax leg conditioning drills, my legs were actually higher for a longer time on these than they have ever been before. The Sept rotation is definitely responsible. Also was a 20 minute power walk.

Today will be CoreMax #3 since I didn't have time to get it in yesterday and a StretchMax segment.

Mariangeles: You're workouts are incredible:eek: !

Carla: I use the CTX DVD a lot! It is so versatile! I also prefer running in the cooler temps....:)

Wendy: Enjoy your workout today and good luck on the October rotation. If I were doing it, I would add extra cardio to it too.

hey ladies! yesterday i did HSC and l/g floor premix and then i raked two yards and washed my suv. i'm sore today! i thinki will just do the elliptical machine and maybe some leg floorwork. i miss my workout room alot! happy sunday everyone!

Hi, ladies:

I am hoping to rejoin your check-in thread.... I used to post here long, long ago... I was on the other check-in thread for a while & I LOVE those ladies but I can't keep up with the convo. :) Anyway, so I need to have a little accountability in my life, so I hope you don't mind me joining you.

I am doing the Oct rotation although I think I may have to modify it; we'll see. (I have elbow issues and I am afraid doing four upper body workouts a week will aggravate it too much.) Yesterday I was in a tear-em-up mood (I had a terrible, terrible day, ugh) so I did RS warmup + combo 1, SJP step only (that was a good combo, about 50 solid minutes of cardio), plus GS Back, Shoulders, and Biceps in full. Today I did IMAX 2 in full for the first time - I found that I LOVE that workout! I have had it for months but I'm a coward. :)

Anyway, hope you all have a great workout and I am looking forward to getting to know you ladies a little better.

Wow, Marie you are kickin' serious a$$ with your w/o's there girl!:)

I did Leaner Legs (including the ab work) and will do a Low Max premix later...I figured I should get some good leg work in there before I start the October rotation tomorrow. ;)

Welcome Marie...nice to have you back! Imax2 is my fav of the Imaxes.

Well I went about 11 miles with my friend. I don't know what it is lately but these dogs seem to like me...so we had these 2 dogs follow us for awhile. Very friendly, but we lost one so when we got back to their house we had a talk with the owner just to let him know the one dog was still out there. It really worried me as an animal lover...:(...When we left the house the one dog eventually continued to follow us!! The owner drove out to get her and had the other dog with him so I was happy to know that one got back there.

Hi again, my workout is done. I have done Share it Up of the Slim Series, TJ cardio party nº 1 and 1 hour in my stationary bike. Carole SS is more advanced than Slim in 6. Jes I am glad to see you again posting here. Welcome back.
