Hi good morning, today I start the second week of the P90X. I will do chest and back, ab ripped and 30 minutes of cardio. Have a great Saturday everybody.

Hi again, I have just done back and chest and the ab ripped of P90X. My father says the P90X are not workouts for women only for men.He thinks a girl is losing her time doing pull ups or push ups. He does not like women with strong muscles like Cathe.He is so wrong. Why a girl can't be strong? I love my strong body. }( }( and I am working hard to be stronger.Later I will do cardio.

Good Morning!

Mariangeles-Your father sounds like my husband. He likes me working out. He just thinks I am going to get bulky. He doesn't understand how it works. I just ignore him.

Today was HSC. I love that w/o. I haven't done it in a long time. Forgot how much you breathe during that one.

My FIL bought us a new stainless steel stove with the slick top, so I have to wait around for them to deliver it. I hate waiting on people, but I am excited about the new stove. I bought my DH a stainless steel dishwasher for Father's Day. HA-HA;) :p

Mariángeles, there are probably alot of men that think women shouldn't be strong! It is your body and you decision I think...:)...I did find those pull-ups tough in P90X

Carla...I just got one of those stoves! I love the ceramic top but mine isn't stainless...it's bisque. I cannot believe how many times they seem to change the name of the color "beige"....here I thought "bisque" was a soup...:)

I am doing GS Legs, some abs and a kickbox workout, not sure which one yet...

Mariangeles - With the amazing w/o's you do, I am sure you have a very strong body. It makes you feel good physically and good about yourself. Do what makes you happy. Some people (like my husband also) just do not understand why we do what we do. I'd much rather be addicted to physical fitness and a healthy life-style than to be a couch potato.

Carla - A new kitchen with stainless appliances is on my wish list. I hope you enjoy yours. Getting your DH a stainless appliance for Father's Day sounds perfectly reasonably to me. :)

Hey Carole - Two GS w/o's are on their way to me (not legs). I hope to get the legs soon. I am going to get a walk (run?) in on the treadmill here at the hotel today. My legs aren't sore after yesterday. I don't know why but they're not.


Yesterday was KickMax and 110 walking lunges in the hotel room. Upped my number by 10. See why I thought I'd have DOMS today, but I don't.

Today is swimming, walk or run on the treadmill, playing with the other equipment in the fitness center, recumbent bicycle and elliptical trainer since I don't have access to these at home.

Morning Everyone,

Well yesterday's w/o didn't happen. We are dog sitting my brothers boxer. I had forgotten how strong these dogs can be, and I was holding onto her collar while my dd was getting her leash untangled. She launched herself out the door with me still hanging onto her collar. I landed in a pile on the ground. My shoulder, forearm, knee and glute where giving me a little pain. x( So decided to nix the w/o for yesterday. Woke up this morning and the forearm and shoulder are tender, so I decided to do a 3 mile run. It is a lovely day out, and the run felt great!

Laurie Mac-I am glad you were not hurt seriously and it was smart too take a rest day. I always fear an accident that would put me out of commision for long.

Carole-I keep meaning to tell you that you look awesome! How is the freesyle working out for you?

Mariangeles-Are you liking p90x? I know it's early yet but do you notice ny difference yet?

Jane-You are very motivated to be doing all you can while in a hotel. I applaud you:)

Today I plan to do a treadmill run and a upper body workout. Yesterday was kpc for cardio and I liked the workout better this time around. Still feel like I sweat more with a run or with step. Anone else feel that way?

Thank you Terri!! I am really liking freestyle. I enjoy working my legs 6 days a week as the weight amount is so much lighter and I know I won't bulk. I am also trying out the freestyle concept on my upper body. I will do shoulders for 3 weeks, then tri's and then bi's.

As far as sweating....it has gotten so warm I sweat lots no matter what I do now!!!....Carole

Today for me will be MuscleMax for sure, and hopefully a 30 min run this afternoon. Today I am starting the HC Muscle endurance rotation.

Mariangeles: You go girl - be strong!

Carla: I like HSC too. The music is great and the pace is perfect!

Carole: Enjoy your workouts...I may have to look into the freestyle training down the road as I have bulky legs that could use some de-bulking!

Jane: Good for you! Your legs are getting stronger.

Hi Fit Ladies,

This morning I did Core Synergistics, I was sweating, using seven pound dumbells. I was hungry so I stop to have breakfast, I want to some cardio later in the day. I completed week 8 of P90X, I do all of the weight training workouts but I substitute, Imax 3 for Plyo X sometimes and KPC for Kenpo X. The workouts are great, but Tony annoys me, I find his humor very corny. I never get tired of Cathe, I love her humor, she has the body I will like to have, she inspires me.
 
Hi Everybody!

No workouts for me for several days due to a migraine headache. :-(
Happily I woke up this morning feeling much better so I got back to the slow & heavy rotation I am doing and today was back & biceps.
Maybe I will walk later, as it is beautiful out here today. Low humidity, clear skies and I guess going to be only in the low 80's.
I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday weekend!

Good morning (afternoon for most of you by now)!

This morning I slept in late, since I was up way too late last night. Felt good! Once I got my butt out of bed I did Cardio & Weights all-step premix, and Push Pull. I have to admit that the last combo in CW is much more pleasant when you substitute 3 knee-smashes and a side kick for the turning-lunges/rock back.

The Tour de France started this morning!!!!!!!!!!! These are the best 3 weeks of television all year round.

Good morning everyone! How are you all enjoying the holiday weekend so far? :)

I did KPC this morning (no abs). Man I love that workout! :) My parents are visiting for the weekend, and my Dad was sitting in the dining room while I was working out - I was sweating so much that it was making HIM get sweaty! LOL! He had to open a window for fresh air. He was really impressed with my workout. Yeah, I'm tough - thanks to Cathe! ;)

Yesterday was Tri's only from Tri's and Bi's and Core Max 3.

Today I did Power Hour while Hubby worked out too doing his own thing. We worked out to Chevelle. I will do a cardio this evening.

Bootcamp - DONE! though I must admit I had to add a few mini breaks for hot flashes & equipment set-up, but still finished in 1hr 10min. I did modify the Terminators a bit - old body just won't move that fast for that long "I'm not as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I ever was" :7

Happy 4th to all you fit ladies - & watch out for those wild dogs - be safe out there!
 
Happy 4th of July weekend, everyone!

Today I did HSC-intermediate + the extra Abs section. I was able to use the same step height as Cathe in just about everything this time (the second time doing this w/o), and upped the weight for upper body in most exercises. Felt incredible! Cathe's w/o's are doing wonders for me. :D

Hi healthy ladies,after 1 hour in my stationary bike I am here again. Thank you very much for your support. I see I am not the only one.Jane is right. Men (not all I hope so) don't understand why we do this.I think a man can't see her wife is stonger than him.Terri P90X are the hardest workouts I have ever done.The day after my first chest and back workout I was so tired. I feel all my back sore.All the first week has been hard but I feel I had a better workout today.I feel it like I had finally stepped into another world – the world of men’s training. It is great.My favorite thing about P90x, is that I don't feel like I have to follow the instuctor and all the background exersicers, (who are also following the instructor).I set a goal and do the best I can forgeting the rest.Logos first of all congratulations for complet the 8 weeks. I feel the same about Tony.His jokes are annoying. I am thinking about substitute Kenpo with KPC too. I think KPC is harder than Kenpo the lightest P90X workout.

hey girls! i did HC tris and chest today and i didn't get a workout in yesterday. my arms are shaking! i will do cardio later if i have the energy;-)

Afternoon everyone:)

I did Imax 3 yesterday, and I believe that aliens came in the night and replaced my legs with springs, because I finished ALL 56 plie jacks, and every single tuck jump. I was bouncing like Tigger (spelled T-I-DOUBLE G-ER).

Today MM is on the schedule. I'm working on 4 hours of sleep, so we'll see how far I get:p

It's a fantastic day here in Southern Ontario. Hope y'all are having an amazing July 4th weekend.

Road Trippers - two weeks from now, we'll be getting ready to take our SECOND Cathe class:)
