Cycle/Spinning Class

I took my first cycle/spinning class about a week ago and took the 2nd class this past Friday. What a workout! I was sweating buckets. After the initial class, I was sore from head to toe for 2 days. The past Friday, my core & thighs were on fire. Cathe's workouts, helped me a great deal. I was able to do the entire class. What have other people's experience been with cycle/spinning class?
 
Since I started doing hard interval training, spin class has become a piece of cake. And my intervals are only 2 or 3 thirty min. sessions a week.

I think of myself as fit but unfortunatly my backside isnt! After my first class - oooooooouch!!!!. my glutes! Maybe I was sitting all wrong or something, but its put me off taking more than one class a week. Your right though - a great calorie burner.:)
 
I love these, but they're too boring to do more than once a week. They're great for cardio, and also build some nice quad endurance and a bit of size, for me at least. My quads are the only thing that really feels tired after one of these though. But they feel veeeery tired!!

At home I have an Airdyne that I ride 2 or 3 times a month. I do an interval workout while watching the Bootcamp allbutcore premix. It is a great cardio interval workout, but it helps that I can use my arms a bit too. No such luck with the spin bike.
