Hi, friends:

I know that no two of us are alike, and everyone responds differently to different routines, but since I've seen the question of CTX's effectiveness brought up here a few times I just wanted to jump in and say how great it has been for me. Even with the sporadic work schedule I've had and a nagging back condition, I have continued to improve strength and have not lost any aerobic capacity while usoing CTX almost exclusively all winter. The reason I know is that I pulled out an old CIA tape that used to really challenge me aerobically (twice as long as CTX cardio) and I hardly broke a sweat. AND, I switched back to PSLA from LL yesterday, and even that wasn't the bear I remember it being! I even used more weight than I used to! Hope this helps anyone trying to decide. Here is my CTX testimonial:

I used the the CTX series consistently from early September until Thanksgiving and I increased my aerobic capacity, gained strength, and got leaner. (I didn't lose any weight...but I got very toned!) The best thing that happened to me is that I then got pregnant in late November so I went into this pregnancy in awesome shape and I still feel great! I have obviously gained weight throughout my pregnancy, but have been able to maintain my muscle tone and strength. I am no longer doing the CTX series--too much intensity and high impact, but I highly recommend that those who are planning on getting pregnant use the CTX series to get in great shape. I am so glad that I went into this pregnancy in great shape--I continue to work out and for most part have a positive body image (at least so far...)
