I know that no two of us are alike, and everyone responds differently to different routines, but since I've seen the question of CTX's effectiveness brought up here a few times I just wanted to jump in and say how great it has been for me. Even with the sporadic work schedule I've had and a nagging back condition, I have continued to improve strength and have not lost any aerobic capacity while usoing CTX almost exclusively all winter. The reason I know is that I pulled out an old CIA tape that used to really challenge me aerobically (twice as long as CTX cardio) and I hardly broke a sweat. AND, I switched back to PSLA from LL yesterday, and even that wasn't the bear I remember it being! I even used more weight than I used to! Hope this helps anyone trying to decide.
