CTX ROTATION/ WITH OTHER WORK OUTS

I have been doing the ctx dvd, I am trying to get a good rotation going for about 3-to 4 weeks. I was wondering if any of you have added either the pyramids or any body blast with the ctx dvd rotation. I had good results with pyramids, but I added in power walking and some step tapes but still lost inches in my thighs. The ctx are shorter but intense. Any and all suggestions are welcome. I might just concentrate on the ctx dvd's, but maybe add in the pyramid up and plb with the ctx work outs. I know there are some of you that have lost weight and sizes just using the ctx, I love all those work outs.

Timesaver is my next purchase, they are shorter and then I can add in another smaller work out if I want. I got to have that variety.

Hi Debbie,
I have been on a CTX kick lately to.(I LOVE this series!!) I have heard people have had wonderful results with CTX upper body so I thought I would work that in to my rotation more to get in gear for summer;-) Soooooo.... this week this is what I did.

Mon- LL
Tues- kickbox warm up & CTX upper body
Wed-cardio kicks Minus the wts
Thur-power circuit and CTX back and Chest only
Friday- REST
Today I will do a CTX cardio and CTX shoulders, biceps and triceps.

I just Love this dvd because you can do so much with it. Over at VF Tami and Donna have a wonderful rotation that worked other dvds/videos in, but it was mainly a CTX rotation. Here it is

Thank you so much Nicole. I will sure check out the rotation, when all my chores are finished. I am taking a coffee break, so just had to come to my favorite sight. Everyone is so nice and helpful hear.
Your rotation looks great. I have already did about a week of the ctx, but starting Monday I am going to start fresh with a full 4 weeks either doing just the ctx or the one you mentioned. You have been a lot of help, and keep up the great work. I have the ctx dvd, but only have did the work outs by themselves, I need to try and mix them up too, what I mean is parts of different work outs together, I think I will try and figure that out tonight. Have a wonderful day, well back to house work and then outside work

Did you get a chance to look at that CTX rotation over @ VF? That rotation was a lot of fun plus it shows the perks of having it on dvd form. When I read over there that someone had to stop doing a ctx rotation due to they were losing to much weight I thought " BOY I am going to get my CTX out," and it is really shaping me up. I am really starting to see definition in my abs. I think those planks are really helping!! I would like to lose about 5 more pounds!! No I do not have the Time savers dvd yet ;-) I plan on purchasing the intensity bundle next month!! I can't wait!!

Hi Nicole, yes I found it thank you so much. I think starting tomorrow for the next 8 weeks I am going to try the workouts as they are, and then when I do it the next time I will mix them uop, then I can really get to know my work outs. You have been so helpful, I am pumped and excited. Wow I didn't get to read that. I would be happy with 5 or ten pounds, I am just aiming for a smaller size. I love the way you can chapter on the dvd, that is so awesome, I am so glad I started ordering the dvd's. I love the intensity series, they are great too. That is great news about your abs, wooo---hoooo. How long are you doing the rotation for?. By the way your rotation looked great, but first time around I will do them as they are, no offense to you at all. I am so happy for you. I love doing planks. Well I guess tomorrow will be power circuit.

I was thinking of the timesaver, but someone told me how great the dvd is with power hour, MIS AND BODY MAX, THAT WILL PROBALLY BE NEXT FOR ME, but I am in no hurry I have 8 weeks, LOL.

I will be looking for your posts and good luck to you. I think I will just measure again in 4 weeks and then at the end.

Hi Debbie,
That sounds like a GOOD plan. I think the CTX is a Cathe masterpiece!!Thats what I LOVE about it. It is a great workout it itself or you can do portions of it!! I think I will continue with cardio portion next week, but I am going to try lifting slowly I think it called HIT???. It is what Trevor posted about! Looks like it is going to cook my muscles :eek: I finally ordered a barbell today!!( Troy lite) I am so excited. Now all I have to do is work up to lifting the darn thing LOL. I have Power Hour video and for some reason I find it tougher for me than LL. Yikes those static lunges about kill me. I had planned on doing PH for a 6 week rotation 3x a week. What was I thinking?? That lasted about a week and a half. I may next week try and work that in. I like the fact that it really works your back!!

Well better get going and get the kids to bed!!

I'm on my 2nd week of a CTX rotation that's kicking my butt!!!
It goes like this:
Day 1--Imax2 Blast Mania premix followed by CTX Chest, Shoulders & Biceps
Day 2--Kickbox/10-10-10 Cardio segments followed by CTX Triceps
Day 3--Bootcamp Cardio/Lower Body Premix followed by Core Only Premix
Day 4--Cardio of my choice--something lighter, less impact, a little break:)
Day 5--Power Circuit warmup + cardio leg segment, Body Max section 2 leg circuit segment, + CTX Back
Day 6--All Step/Step'n Intervals Cardio segments + Abs
Day 7--Rest

Deb, your rotation sounds great, I sure love the ctx workouts too. I am just doing the ctx tapes the first time around to get to know the work outs better and see what results I will get. I wish you all the luck. Keep us all posted. How long is your rotation for?. I am going for 8 weeks. Tomorrow I am starting my 2nd week. I love Imax 2 also it is fun but what a great work out.

When I am through with this, I would love to try a body blast rotation, but I need to order the supersets dvd first. I think Cathe is the best.

CTX is such a wonderfully versatile series. Wouldn't it be great if it had the technology of Cathe's newer DVD's (extensive chaptering, mix 'n match, premixes, etc.). If she ever released such a version, I'd buy it all over again!

I am starting my second week today of an 8 week ctx rotation, it is a toss up betweer all step, 10-101-10, and step and intervals, NEED COFEE FIRST.
