I'm thinking of buying the CTX DVD ... can anyone tell if these are good, very good or just plain fantastic! I would also like to know if the DVDS have any extras on them? Any help would be most welcome...thanks. x

Buy it, buy it, buy it!

CTX was my first foray into the wonderful world of Cathe and it was one of the best purchases I've ever made! The discs themselves are chaptered semi-minimally compared to the awesome standards she now sets for the rest of the field, but don't let that fool you. CTX is such a versatile series and it is chaptered well enough to break them up and mix and match them with other workouts. I use bits of CTX in every rotation I do. It has 4 great ab routines (2 with planks, 2 without), FABULOUS music, and a great mix of hi/lo, kickboxing, step, and weight work. There is such a variety packed into those 6 workouts. The first disc contains Step Intervals, All Step, Power Circuit and 10-10-10. The 2nd disc contains Leaner Legs, Kickbox, all 4 ab segments, and all 5 upper body segments. I can't recommend this series enough!

Wayne!! I can't believe you don't have it already!! :D
The series really is fantastic. It's versatile, intense, and short for when you need that. But you can easily make it longer if you choose to. And I don't think the cardios are all that dancy... definitely not like Rythmic Step. I hope you decide to try it :)

Thanks ladies. I’ll give them a shot. I’ve just bought Pyramids on DVD so am looking forward to that workout. Think the CTX workouts sounds kinda cool, daily workouts, different body part, etc… very cool and all in one DVD, very smart. Thanks so much, you guys are stars! x

Oh, you won't be sorry! These are the ones I pull out over and over again. Sometimes I just add a cardio to something else I'm doing or I do two cardios in a row. I usually double up on the body parts and do each twice per week. These are very well chaptered, so you can use them in many different ways.

Wayne:

plain fantastic is the short answer. You HAVE TO HAVE CTX DVD in premier place in your collection.

Bobbi always says (I think it's Bobbi or is it Honeybunch?) that the CTX series is Cathe's masterpiece to date and I agree. It still tops the intensities for me. If I had no other workouts series from Cathe, the CTX and Slow and heavy would be indispensable items.

Fun, variety, challenge, intensity, versatility....this series has it all.

GET IT!!!!!!!

This is my first dvd purchase and I really love them. I like them because they are all within an hour and time is not ever on my side.
You should get them and add an extra body part to mix it up each day.
Get them and enjoy!!!!

Wayne!! The CTX DVD is like owning a black dress - it's an absolute MUST HAVE and staple to your other workouts! This is probably my most used DVD. I uses pieces of it with all kinds of mixing and matching and variations with other workouts. Once you get this you'll go crazy with workout creation.

BUY, BUY, BUY! :7 :7 :7 :7

Oh, so in answer to your question - it's FANTASTIC!

go on Wayne! how can you resist the lure of the little black dress?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

laughin' with ya,

Clare;-)
