CTX question

Hi!
I'm thinking about getting the CTX series -- I just had a couple questions. Does Cathe go heavy on the weight workout after the cardio? Does she mention which weight she's using before each excercise? (I'm a big fan of that)
Thanks!

I love this workout. It fits right into my busy schedule. It's very well chaptered. She did not go very heavy in the weight. However, every body is different. You can choose the weight you feel comfortable with. She always mentioned what weights she used in all her weight training videos (at least all my current collections, :))

I definitely recommend it.

CTX is endurance work. The only heavy weight I can remember is Cathe using 15's for shoulder presses, but the crew uses lighter weights. She does say how much weight she's using. CTX-UB split is one of my favorite upper body workouts. It's tough but fun, and the entire upper body is thoroughly worked.

Cathe talks about slowing the reps down if you want to go heavier with the weights in a couple of spots. Also, when I first start out with Leaner Legs I always think that I can use heavier weight and on the second set/round of squats I'm always so glad I didn't. CTX is a great series!

Oh boy.. here I go spending again!!
Thanks for the info, guys! I like the idea of using them as a rotation in themselves...

Yes you definetly need this series!!! It will be worth it!!!

You will have so many more options now with CTX. You can use any one of the short but intense cardio's on a weight training day when you want some cardio but not too much. You can combine a couple of the cardio's. You can pair the hi/lo with the hi/lo from MIC and SJP. You can use CTX Kickbox cardio with one of the KPC premixes or the Blast section of KM or with the other 3 combo's. You can use the Power Circuit lower body circuit section in conjunction with BC cardio and lower body premix for a killer lower body circuit workout. I could go on and on, but I will stop. Enjoy this series!

I've had CTX on VHS for years and loved it, I just got it on DVD and am loving it all over again, the possibilities for mix and matching are endless. The amount of weight and speed of repetitions is very easy to modify if you want to work slower and heavier. This series has some of my favourite Cathe cardio!

Take Care
Laurie:)
