CTX Question

Hi Cathe
I am having so much fun doing the CTX tapes. I was wondering though if I could do Power hour on the 7th day, or do you think that would be too much?
Also how long should I do the CTX series before changing to a new routine? Do you have any suggestions on what I could do in place of CTX? I am looking to gain muscle and lose those last 5 pounds!!

Hi Didi! I'm so glad you are enjoying the CTX tapes. I strongly believe in letting the body have one full day per week to recover and therefore would not suggest doing Power Hour on the seventh day. You would be better off doing Power Hour on one of your CTX days (say maybe later that night) if you can arrange that in your schedule.

You can do the CTX series as long as you are getting great results. As soon as the results slow down or you start to find the workouts less stimulating mentally and physically, it is time to insert a new rotation.

A new rotation suggestion would be 5 cardio workouts of your choice per week (alternate the variety and intensity for best results) and MIS two times per week. Again one day you would have to double up (doing a cardio and MIS workout on the same day) to allow for one full day off per week.
