CTX Just Arrived - Love it, Love it, Love it!

Today was supposed to be a power yoga day, but my latest Cathe order came yesterday with the much anticipated CTX series in it...so I was in the middle of doing CTX Kickbox instead of yoga and was actually thinking of what I was going to post in the forum because I was LOVING IT!

I don't really know what I was expecting it to be, for some reason I just wasn't expecting to like it as much as the other(newer) Cathe workouts I have...boy was I wrong! First of all can I just say that I absolutely love the James Bond song with the arm drills! I felt like a Bond Girl kicking some booty in an alley or something.

So it's only day one with CTX and I can't wait to do the others. I will continue to be clueless on how to work every Cathe dvd I own into some kind of rotation, but frankly I have never really gotten excited over a cardio workout in my life, so I don't care! All I can say is Cathe's workouts must have some drug in them. I would have normally done yoga 5 days in a row than strap on my sneakers for cardio!!!

I also love the CTX series...it is SSSOOOOOO versatile. It is my most used Cathe series. In fact, I just leave it in my DVD player because I use it so much.

This is one of my favorites as well-wait till you try Step Interval adn Powercircuit!!!!!!!!!! Way fun!!!!! Enjoy

April, I have had this series since it came out and still use it ALL the time! I love the short cardio's because you can work them in with many other workouts and they are great by themselves! The series itself is a great rotation and one that you might try. And, like Lisa, I love Power Circuit and Step and Intervals. Oh and wait until you try Leaner Legs! Have fun! :)

A neat way to jazz up the 10-10-10 workout is to substitute, or add on, the 10-minute step-interval blast from Step & Intervals workout to the step segment at the end of 10-10-10.

I agree with the posters here - CTX is really a halcyon series, and it's easy to forget how good it is in the wake of the serieses (spelling?) that came later.

Never, ever underestimate the quality - and intensity - of Cathe's earlier offerings!

I'm so glad to hear how much you all rave about this DVD. I'm expecting my copy to arrive any day now. Now I just have to decide which workout I'll do first. What a problem to have :)
 
I am another "raver" about CTX. I just love these DVDS. I use something from this series just about every week. I combine them, add them on to other workouts, use "just" a cardio section with a full body weight workout etc. I just absolutely love CTX.

Cathe did say in her "announcement" that upcoming would be something like CTX (was I dreaming this?) And I can really hardly wait.

Now if she could just come out with BodyMax 2 alread! LOL. I am an addict, I know.
 
I just did kickbox today for the first time in a long while. Forgot how much I like it. Glad you are having fun with your new workouts!!
