Creative uses for leftover Easter candy

Pelt leftover jelly beans at annoying coworkers when their backs are turned.

Use leftover chocolate to lure mice into traps...or Melody to your home.

Any other clever uses that don't involve ingestion of the leftovers?

Damn, I just succumbed to a piece of someone's leftover chocolate x( There will be a zit to contend with tomorrow

My suggestion for those marshmallow peeps (which there are none at my house), mufflers, e.g. - have your children stuff as many as possible into their mouths, then they can't talk.

Notes this is not considered ingestion by us or kids, as the kids' mouths are too full to chew and swallow.

I just wnat to hijack this thread for a moment to tell Melody that she looks like Cindy Lou Who with her hair like that--lol!

Someone just told me about "Peep Jousting" -

You take two peeps, and put a toothpick in each one of them (those are their lances).

Then you put them in the microwave.

The first one to explode, loses!!

HAHA!

GREAT! Now I have splattered peeps crusted all over the inside of my microwave! You'd think I'd stop after the first round...but NOOOOOOOOOO, I had to see which one was going to win the tournament! How am I going to explain this to DH when he gets home??

Sarah...I am ROTFLMAO!!!!:D :D :D :D :D

I think jelly beans would make nice decorations. Glue some on a plain bathing suit, and voilà, a designer creation (just don't go iin the water with it...and you might want to avoid excessive sun exposure...come to think of it, maybe they'd be better as lingerie decoration?).

I also think an art project would be good. Take all the different types of candy (break up the chocolate bunnies, etc., into chunks) and make a small mural by gluing them onto a wooden surace. Yellow jelly beans or peeps could be the sun. Green jellies the grass. Colored jellies flowers. Chunks of chocolate tree trunks and branchs.

You would have to be careful where you pasted those jelly beans though, Kathryn. And the Peep Joust is ingenious. I will have to try it if I can retrieve any peeps from their muffler duty.

I am still waiting for the posting of those maps! I think it's pretty cruel to lure a chocoholic with chocolate Easter candy, but not provide maps.:-(

BTW I am now wishing EB had left peeps at my house. Sarah, did you get your microwave cleaned? What WAS your explanation to DH?

We always microwave our peeps! I just never knew to arm them with weapons--lol! It's a blast to watch them puff up...kind of reminds me of the incredible hulk. They taste great out of the microwave, sort of like toasted marshmallows. :p

Mmmmmmmmmm, slurp, ooh, let me lick my fingers, I guess chocolate caramel makes them a bit sticky. Do I need a napkin? I know I sound muffled but those bit o'honey's are requiring a lot of jaw concentration. What's that over there? Oh yeah, another type of reese's. How many different ones are there? I guess I'll sample each one to see if they taste exactly the same as the previous one. Where's the milk? Do I now need some oreos? I'm sorry, what was this topic about? }( :p
