I got in an early workout so I'm done for today, and will now check in.

Here's today's workout:

CLX- Burn Circuit #2 = 38 Min
Met Value= 6.0
Calories burned= 311

STS Cardio: HiiT- Double Wave Pyramid= 30 Min
Met Value= 10.0
Calories burned= 410

Total calories burned= 721:eek:

Hi Girls! :)

Sorry I've been MIA this week. I came down with a wicked bad sinus "thing" starting Saturday night at work with a bad headache, and then Sunday night at work my head and nose were draining like crazy. I felt horrible, but made it through the work night. Monday I took a rest day, I felt so shitty! Tuesday , I felt ALOT better (made a concoction of Organic Apple Cider Vinegar, Honey & Hot Water that I heard was good for sinus issues and drank it a few times!). It really helped I think!

Tuesday I did Meso 3 , week 1, Chest & Back. WOW :eek: I am feeling that today!!!!

Today was Plyo Legs from week 1. I guess I'm not as well as I thought. I felt horrible during most of it, but got through it. Added on Extended Stretch which was soooo nice and felt soooo good!

Debbie: Glad you are better!!! (sinuses). Ya know, I wonder if you have a tinge of arthritis or something in your shoulder? Did they ever do xrays? If you do MM, go VERY light on shoulder work. Extremely light! Like 3 lbs'ers!!!

Roxie: Oh my gosh. So sorry to hear about your DH's job!!! :( That really really sucks and puts a world of stress into your life. I hope it's just a quick thing and he finds something else or they call him back. What kind of work does he do? I think it's great that you have your home workouts that you can still do.

Belinda: How sad about your MIL. I'm sure it was so emotional to see her like that. Did your DH stay? ... I had read on FB about Virginia. I didn't "know" her, but I had heard others talk about her. It just breaks my heart to even think of a Cathlete dying from cancer. so sad. :((((

Nora: NICE job on keeping up with the HiiTs!!!! I know they definitely help stress. Hope the weight you are carrying gets lighter.

On a good note, my mom is home! She came home from the Rehab last Friday. She's doing great!! She is now using a walker and has lots of nurses, etc coming to her house daily, to get her back to independent living. I know she will too!
 
Chris-glad to hear your mom is home now that has got to be a relief. DH was a bread man for Sara Lee (formaly Rainbo). That company has put us through alot of hell so it sucks that they are treating him so shitty.

Chris - sorry to hear about your sinus. Hope you feel better soon. No, he didn't stay, once they take her off the meds, we will fly to FL again. I still can't believe Virginia (Gin) is gone.. It breaks my heart ....so sad. I can't stop crying. She was so sweet and kind. I hate cancer. Gin was only 53 years old. Glad your mom is home and doing better.

Debbie - keep the weights light.

Belinda- I can't believe your back and that you worked out, but then again I can because I know first hand how much exercise really does help relieve stress. My heart goes out to you and your family in regards to your MIL. I've been keeping you in my prayers. Amazing job with your workout with BBL Sculpt and Cardio Axe both of those are fun and get your mind off of things and I know well its nice to have that break for a while. (Hugs, prayers, and well wishes to you and your entire family):);)

Chris- Oh no yuck and good riddance to that nasty old sinus infection stuff. I hope it doesn't come back to bother you a good long while. Glad that you are feeling much better now. I made note of that concoction as I'm sure it will come in handy in the future. Hey, if it works for you I'll try it when the time comes. So glad it helped you. Congrats on feeling better so much so you even tackled a workout of Meso 3 , week 1, Chest & Back on Tuesday and today you did STS Plyo Legs from week 1. You are a legend girlfriend after feeling so horrible and then bouncing back to working out. You're my hero! ((Hugs and continued well wishes to you)) Congrats on your mom being home and out of rehab. Continued well wishes and prayers for her, that is awesome news. Roxie- I hope that there is something better waiting in the winds for your DH. He's got lots of experience and that is always a valuable commodity in an employee. Since he's worked delivery has he ever tried working for Lays potato chip, Coke, or Pepsi? I have heard they pay their employees well with benefits etc... I have known of some individuals in passing that have really enjoyed working for all of the places I mentioned. I don't know if that is applicable to your area but its a thought. I wish you and your DH all the best and will keep you both in my prayers. How's your precious little grandson doing? Fantastic I hope and same for your DD. Its a big adjustment to suddenly have a new born to care for and can be more than a little daunting at first but she's lucky to have you and your DH near to help her. (Hugs and well wishes) ;):)

Today I did cardio and just did some sprints and hill climbs on my own on my treadmill. I burned a good amount of calories so I'm happy with that.

CARDIO STATS:

Thanks for the suggestions of going light with my weights everyone. You all know so well how hard that is for me to do. When I seen Chris say to use 3#'s, I had to laugh. But you guys are right, I need to "feel the burn" rather than try and build muscle. And I'm starting to fit into my dress shirts better now that I"m not lifting heavy. My arms look toned, not bulky, and I like that. So I'm hoping to be able to contain myself when I decide to lift again. I will try.

Roxie - I'm so sorry to hear about your dh losing his job. We need a HUGE change in America. I sure hope he can find something soon and I hope they at least gave him a serverance pacakge.

Thank you guys for the support I have been really depressed and don't want to do anything but cry so I haven't worked out since Monday. I am hoping to get back into it tonite.

Debbie-they are giving him 1 extra weeks pay which isn't alot for someone who has worked for them for so long.

Nora-dd and gs are doing just fine. He likes to eat alot which is good I think he is now up to 6lbs. We do have those services here as a matter of fact he told me that the competition bread company has and opening for an extra man which means he would have to travel again but hey its a job so I think he is going to apply with them.

I hope you find some small comfort in them in helping to relieve and vent the stress in a positive way. Debbie- Welcome back to your workouts. I know it was cardio on the Treadmill but that's all good stuff, just don't over do it. I'm happy for you that you are liking the change in your arms more lean sculpted and less muscle bulk. You still are my expert about lifting weights though and I love your words of wisdom about weight lifting and what kind of workouts etc... You are the bomb girlfriend. Its good to feel the burn in your workouts and hopefully this will help to minimize the pain or discomfort that has been an issue. Here's to wishing you all the best and to keep feeling better. No workout today, I just couldn't get up. It's been a long, crazy week and I just needed more rest.

Next week I'll be back with a full week of workouts and I'm adding in one day of weights. Don't worry, I will go light. I promise. I'm liking how I look and I won't get crazy with the poundage. I think I'm going to be able to do that.

Nora - I will always love heavy weight lifting and lifting weights in general. I'm glad you want to come to me with questions and guidance. I love helping people out.

Debbie- If your feeling super tired and worn out definitely take the time to rest, and workouts will be there to do later when you're feeling up to it. I think its great your knowledge of weight lifting and do it correctly. Its nice to have someone I know I can always as questions about heavy weight lifting and stuff. I value your knowledge. Take care girlfriend and rest up.;):)

Roxie- I hope you have a great workout with TM and weights. I think it might help lift your spirits. At least you'll feel better after finishing a workout vs before and likely have a good night's rest. I went for a 2 mile walk in the park ran a 1/2 mile of it and then I came home and did KCM's MD #2 and I feel a whole lot better I guess a workout is what I needed. I have to go babysit my 3 year old nephew this evening and I am hoping DH will come over and go for a walk with me.

Nora-you are always so encouraging thank you. Good job with your workout.

Belinda-how is MIL doing?
 
Hi All!

Today I did a quickie, TF HiiT 15 (quick but HARD! you TF girls know what I mean!), and then did a Core workout from a Kathy Smith I never opened. It's crunchless abs and it was on Build Muscle Burn Fat.

yesterday I did Meso 3 SHoulders Biceps Triceps. Good triset workout I really enjoyed!!

Debbie: Sounds like you will do good next week. I know it's hard to change our way of thinking about exercises that we've done all our lives. I'm glad you are liking the toned look to your body too! that will be good incentive!

Nora: Thanks for all your kind words! I do feel so much better. It was 2 days of hell, and then the bulk of the sinus thing lifted. Still a bit stuffed/sniffly, but it's just like a little cold, that's all. Nice job on all your kickbutt workouts this week!

Roxie: I hope DH finds something soon! Hope you got to work out too. It does help! Or at least get outside for some fresh air and walks.

Belinda: Is your butt lifted yet? you are doing great with this rotation!

Next week is October! WOW! :eek:

Roxie - my MIL isn't doing so great, she has difficult breathing.
