Crazy, strong & loving it for September!!

Good Evening,

No workout for me today Jaxson Curtis Hickey decided to join the world this morning so I went up to the hospital to see my grandson, he weighed 5lbs 13 oz and was 19 1/2 inches long such a beautiful baby.

I finished my workout at 1pm but was in a hurry to get ready to pickup my son from school so I forgot to check in until now.

Well, that's it for me. I'm bushed since this was the first day of school for my two boys. Ugh, one of them is a senior this year and the other a sophomore. Where does the time go? It seems they were babies not that long ago. :eek:

I'm done for today and too pooped to do personals today. I did see that you all did workout so bravo. Roxie, good luck with your DD and hang in there. Hugs, and blessing to everyone.;):cool:

Today was yoga and I really wasn't into it all that much. I chose Karen Voight's YogaSculpt. I did the 45 minute yoga workout but ended up playing with my cats more than doing the work. LOL! Oh well, it's been a long week. I almost went back to bed so I guess doing a little is better than nothing.

I'm missing my weight training...

My morning started of with a visit to the hospital to see dd and my grandson he is such a beautiful baby, but dd is looking pale and her legs are still numb hopefully physical therapy will help.

Debbie-I think its time for you to return to wts just stay light until your body is ready for more.

I did KCM's Lower Body Split w/ Bonus FLoorwork (band). Good workout!!

Congrats Roxie!!! how exciting! Babies are awesome , and I'd imagine a first grandchild is even more awesome!!

Debbie: LOL !!! One of my cats loves to weave in and out of my legs and arms during yoga too.

Belinda: Tell me about these Butt Bible workouts! Glad you're feeling better. My mom is doing ok. I'm about to go see her ... she's getting physical therapy twice a day. Not eating great, but she's taking supplemental drinks to boost her nutrition. Thanks for asking! :)

Nora: Nice job with ME yesterday!! I went to my son's Open House last night, he's a Jr. Crazy crazy stuff. Time sure does fly....

Workouts are done! This morning I walked the dogs 35 min/2.5 miles. Than I did abs w/Violet Zaki (that one was tough), I also did 30 min yoga for my hip w/ David. I just finished Butt Bible L1 again.

Chris - glad your mom is better. Hope she feels better soon. Sending her quick healing vibes. The Butt Bible workouts you do each level (there are 3 level twice a week for two weeks than go on to the next level. Does this make sense? If I confuse you I can sent you the schedule. She also has for each level an upper body workout (which you do twice a week too). Basically you do the Butt Bible for 6 weeks:eek:

Debbie- No worries about your workout not quite working out except with the kitties, which sounds like fun. You've had a lot on your plate to deal with lately and that is no small feat, so when your ready to do more, do more, and if not just play it by ear.

Belinda- Nice job on today's workouts, well done. Oh and good for you taking the dogs for a walk, I'm sure they loved it. It sounds like you had a great workout and walk today, bravo girlfriend~:);)

Roxie- Congrats, on being a new grandma!!!!:eek::cool: That is the coolest! Sorry to hear your DD is feeling not so great with her legs still feeling numb and her being pale. I hope all that is temporary and she'll bounce back in no time. Blessings & prayers to you and your family and that precious new grandson;):):D

Chris- WTG on your KCM's Split Session Lower body and bonus band workout today.:);) Excellent job getting in a workout today. Yes the time sure does fly, too bad its not money flying into my sad bank account, LOL!!! My other wish is that taking off weight could be as fast and easy as taking off weights on your barbell. Ok, so its a dream but you have to admit its a good one. LOL!!! Prayers and blessings to your mom and her recovery I'm sure she'll do well it just takes time. ((Hugs));):cool:

Tonite I went to the gym and did a lower body workout and then we went up to the hospital to spoil Jaxson. His momma asked us to bring her and daddy a blizzard from Dairy Queen so we did.
 
Today I did cardio and chose Cardio Coach #6 by Sean. I haven't done that one in a long time and really enjoyed it. That first challenge is a long one. I did very well with the challenges and got to all the levels like I should have. I was a sweating mess when I got done.

Tonite for me will be some kind of cardio haven't decided what yet. DH and I have come to and agreement I will go to the gym to do cardio since there is variety of stuff to do and then do wts. at home since being on my own I have noticed its a struggle to get equipment and not have people take your wts that you are using.

Just a quick check in: I just finished Tank Top Arms w/ Cindy Whitmarch = 20 min plus Brazil Butt Lift "High and Tight"= 38 min. That is one tough little butt workout, I am sure I will feel my butt tomorrow. :p I really start like these kinda leg workout, they get me good. I didn't felt like doing cardio today and of course, I had to pick something tough instead:p

Tomorrow I will do cardio and yoga. Need to stretch my legs.

Yes, that bonus workout I did yesterday that was a mix of both Boot Camp Original and Muscle Endurance was great! I do own BBL and I have done a few of the workouts. I think the butt work is a great lower body workout and have done High and Tight etc. The only thing I can say that is critical of BBL is that the cardio although fun is not the challenging cardio I normally like to do. The cardio included is great though for a recovery week or just getting back into workingout after a long break or recovery from an injury or something. I like to dance so it was fun, but not the cardio I reach for to burn maximum calories though. There is solid lower body and ab work in it and its a keeper for that and when the mood strikes me I can to BBL cardio. I know that on Leanadro's Secret Weapon dvd that came with the deluxe set that is a killer on legs and butt and I use Cathe's orange slide'n glide disc for that. Leandro is using a small towel or wash cloth on wood floors, I have carpeting in my workout room so the discs work better for me. Oh mama does that short workout get ya but good. I like BBL overall but its not something I reach for as often as Cathe or KCM. I like variety in my workouts so its all good for me, its what keeps things fresh and fun. I will be working out later, I just woke up but I will get it done and check in when I do. So, which Michelle Dozois workout was it that you did today? I have her Peak 10 workout program, and I'm eyeing her two new More Cardio, and More Cardio Strength, she's fun. Great job today on your workout and take care girlfriend!;):):cool:

Good Evening,

Last night I did the elliptical and then dd and grandson got to go home so dh and I went out to help them get settled and today I did the TM and wts then went out to dd's to clean house she is still having problems with her legs she fell this morning and broke her toe so I took her a walker to help her out.
