Crazy, strong & loving it for September!!

Happy September!!!

Time sure does fly. Today is my oldest's 17th birthday. Tomorrow is my second son's 13th. Wow.

Today I did TF 30 Class & Abs 10. Good Saturday workout. I have to work this weekend, overnights. I'll leave early to see my mom , she's still in the hospital. Had a setback yesterday.

Nora, that's cool how you plan your workouts at the beginning of the week. I might just wing it this week. I want to try some Kettlebell workouts a friend lent me.

Belinda: Afterburn is a tremendous workout!! I think I am officially "broken in" on all the LIS series workouts after this month, though. I need a break from them, in other words! LOL!

I just got my new KCM dvd's today so I'm excited to preview those probably tomorrow. I decided to not workout today and will be back Monday hopefully to check in with a workout. Have a blessed labor day weekend! Hugs to everyone!;):cool::):D

ood evening,

Sorry for not checkin in the last few days, very busy weekend. My friend came up to WV on Saturday, we sent all day together. Never got a workout in Saturday or Sunday. Yesterday we went to Tysons Coner. We went to a Mexican bar, had a small bite to eat. Alesia and I got sick? So no workout to report. I have a confession to make...I never did AB. LOL. Not sure, if I will do it today or start another rotation?


Chris - Happy belated Birthday to your kids. WOW! Hope you had a wonderful weekend. Sorry to hear about your mom. How is she doing? I posted Cathe's Sept rotation in the Rotation forum.

I just finished today's workout and tried out KCM's two new workouts, and I love them!

Here's Today's workout:

KCM- 30 MTF Cardio Quick Fix- Quick FIX#9= 28 Min
Met Value= 7.0
Calories burned= 268

KCM 30MTF- Plateau Buster- Kelly's Harder Mix #1= 35 Min
Met Value= 8.50
Calories burned= 406

Total calories burned= 674

I have to say I really loved KCM's Cardio Quick Fix and the premix I selected. This was a fun workout and did have some cool moves in it. I then tried KCM's Plateau Buster ( This is a metabolic workout) Oh wow this was a challenge and total sweat-fest. Plateau Buster does combine high intensity cardio and weights specifically dumbells' pairs of #7 and #12. Great moves and super fun and this will make you burn calories and fat long after your done with the workout, so what's not to love. I think both of these are keepers. I got in a combined workout time of 63 minutes and had an incredible workout that was time efficient and fun. I loved these two workouts and are nice additions to my KCM workouts that I alternate with Cathe and Turbo Fires etc....

Belinda- I hope you are resting today and that you and your DD feel better soon.

Good Evening,

I have had a busy weekend. Saturday was my b-day and we spent it on the lake then went to Red Lobster for supper, Sunday was DD's baby shower and then again we went to the lake and we spent today on the lake. Saturday I went to the gym and did the stationary bike and then the wt. machines and today I did the elliptical.

Nora-I haven't received my workouts yet but it sounds like they are going to be good ones.

Belinda-sounds like you had a good weekend.

Chris-tell your kids happy birthday. I hope your mom is doing better.
 
No workout today, haven't worked out since last Thursday. I didn't sleep well last night so I didn't even try to get up this a.m. Tomorrow is another day...

My aunts funeral went as well as a funeral goes. Very sad and I'm still shocked she's gone.

Hope you all had a great Labor Day weekend! I can't believe summer is over. :(

Hey everyone I just wanted to let you know DD is in the hospital with contractions, they are suppose to keep me updated.

My mom was moved to rehab yesterday! So she's on the road to going home, eventually, when she gets all her strength back. Crappy thing is, it's the same rehab my brother died in and i have been an emtional mess and bitch because of having to go there again. Not to mention my oldest son that is still giving me behavior issues. I so need a weeklong Calgon.

workout yesterday was Kelly Coffey-Meyers new one: Plateau Buster. i did the first workout. I agree, Nora, it's a keeper!! Excellent 30 minutes of some good challenging moves. I'm going to do Quick Fix tomorrow. ... Yesterday I also did KB Swings

Today was KCM's 30 Minutes Upper Body Split and then I did Cathe's Crossfire Tabata Plyo Premix.

I'm going to use KCM's this week for a change. I think I did Cathe's rotations or workouts for 2 months, I need a little mix-up.

Belinda: Hope you feel better!!! You know you don't feel good when you don't feel like working out.

Nora: I agree. LOVE the KCMs so far!! Do you have all of her 30 Minute Series?

Roxie: Good luck to your daughter!! How exciting for you to have a grandchild!!! Happy belated bday to you! (you have the same bday as my oldest!)

Debbie: Sorry you've been feeling crappy too. But sometimes, you just really need a break from workouts too. Funerals are so hard. I feel for ya. ((hugs))
 
Chris and everyone else they sent dd home her contractions started to slow down, I think she just over did things this weekend and she needs to rest. I am glad to hear your mom is doing better and hang in there with your son.
 
HI girls,

I ended up doing Pauline Nordin Butt Bible(from youtube) LB + UBL1 + 10 band workout for the legs. I don't think I could handle lots of high impact right now. I been wanting to give those workouts a try.

Chris - thank goodness, I am not sick that often! Don't know if DD and I caught a virus or flu? No one else is sick, weird? I will keep your mom in my thoughts and prayers. I am sure, the rehab will do their best. ((HUGS)) As far as your olest son goes.....we all been there. Hang in there! You are a wonderful and caring mom!!

Debbie - (((HUGS))) so sorry for your loss. Very sad!

Nora - I was resting yesterday. Guess I needed it. Glad you enjoy KCM's workouts.

Tonite I went to the gym and did the TM for 15 minutes and then did wts. I got my KCMs today.

Belinda-I am fine right now but I know dd is going to have a hard time she doesn't handle pain well so her actual labor will probably kill me. Did you and DD eat the same thing it could be food poisoning.

Debbie- My deepest condolences, believe me I know how weird it feels to lose someone, its as if the world stops for you. Plus it seems you remember all sorts of times and happy times with the person that's passed in your case your Aunt. I know for myself it felt as if the whole world had gone upside down for me and I was annoyed to see others go on as if nothing changed. I felt as if I was the only one that noticed this strange sensation. Just embrace the really special happy memories you have of your Aunt the memorable and the funny memories especially and her smile. Think of those times as a great big hug and bright smile from her. I know this is a stressful time for you and its understandable you feel out of sorts and have difficulty sleeping, I've been there. All you can do is get through it the best way you can and have faith that you can and will get through this. ((Extra Hugs)):);)

Belinda- Oh no! Please take care of yourself first get that all right then worry about working out after that. First things first, so you're the #1 priority so take care and be well. ;) ((Hugs)):)

Roxie- WOW! Exciting time for you with your DD and having contractions. I wish her all the best and her soon to be born little bundle of joy. If she's not handling the contractions in early labor or braxton-hicks contractions I'd respectfully suggest an epidural but that's only appropriate depending on her choice for her birthing plan and when the doctor thinks its appropriate. I had epidurals both times, both my labors wound up C-sections. The first one was not planned but went that way. The other was a scheduled C-section but either way it was worth it for my sons. I bet this anxious grandma-to-be stuff has got to be tough on your nerves but hang in there, all will be well and awesome. Good luck on your workout in the gym on your own, you can do it girlfriend you have all the info and know how, you go girl! Plus, a workout might help with relieving some of the stress of being anxious for your DD and labor stuff. Hugs to you and blessings to you and your family on the impending happy blessing of a grand baby to welcome into the world. Of course, babies have their own time table and will come when they are darned good and ready to! LOL!!! Many blessings and hugs.:D

Chris- Great news that your mom is doing well and onto rehab, wishing her all the best. Ugh, tough its the same rehab place as your brother that passed away, I can understand your uneasiness about that. Take a deep breath and let it out, now remember this is entirely different circumstances with your mom. I know this is a tough one girlfriend, sending you hugs to get through this ((Hugs)). Yay! you got KCM's Plateau Buster and Cardio Quick Fix dvd's. I really think Plateau Buster was awesome kind of felt a little like CrossFire and Low Impact Series AfterBurn in feel, which I love. I felt like I got alot out of Plateau Buster mix I did and wow is that an efficient workout. On Cardio Quick Fix I like workout #2 and its premixes and the bonus workout for abs/glutes and thighs is amazing. I loved the standing ab work wow did my abs feel it too! I think both are keepers and fun additions to have in my fitness library. I'm glad you got those workouts too, so we can compare notes on them;) Hang in there with your 17 year old, I feel your pain there. Teen years are just tough to go through the first time for ourselves and again with our kids. Its a double whammy so where's our hazard pay and time and a half pay, huh? LOL!!! You gotta keep a healthy sense of humor about things, it helps oh and kickboxing and boxing dvds on the ready to vent frustrations too!:D:eek: (( Hugs to you girlfriend)):):cool:

Today was cardio and I chose Cardio Coach #4. Haven't done this one in a while, it was tough but I had a great workout.

I have to take the dogs to the vet this morning. This afternoon I will do cardio, not sure what yet?

Hey girls,

I just finished a cardio workout from youtube with Steven Maresca.I been wanting to do that workout for quit some time. I thought it would be an easy workout, wrong! That was one tough workout I burned 541 cal in 40 min. AWESOME workout! Loved it! I will do that one more often. Love working with the med ball. Fun stuff.

Roxie - maybe? My DD and I ate the same thing. My DH and DS had something different. We both starting to feel much better again. Have fun at the gym tonight.
