Hi girls~
I just finished a super tough oldie workout, yep. Cathe's older workouts are still packing a punch and are top notch and timelessly effective. I just finished the Original Body Max, this was my first time with that one. Oh man, that was tough. I was especially challenged by the step moves because of my right ankle that's still healing and the balance changes with my sometimes iffy MS balance is not at its greatest. The right side of my foot sort of a little between the ankle and forefoot is black and blue and if my balance is off and my foot rolls the wrong way it reinjures that area. So, I had to modify those steps that gave me pain. This was a fun workout but I wish I could have given it my best effort but couldn't due to injury, but I tried.
here's today's workout:
Original Body Max= 91 Min
Calories burned= 1000 approx
Met Value= 7.50
That's it for me today, stick a fork in me I'm done! Great workout today and was definitely challenged.
Belinda- Great workout today~ Debbie makes some killer rotations so I know you'll get a great workout. Have fun but work hard
Debbie- Awesome chest and back workout for you today, way to rock that workout~
Heather- Girl you been busy with your workouts during the
thanksgiving holiday, great job on all of those but I'm sorry that you hurt your knee, that part sucks. I hope your knee feels better ASAP! On the
STS Legs I'd skip that part until your knee feels better, give it some time to heal and repair. I'd suggest using a stationary bike or recumbent or something for leg work that way there is no weight on that knee, or even swimming is great to rehab an injury. Doing STS Meso 2 sounds fine for upper body weight training. Just be careful if it hurts at all don't do it.
Jessica- Sorry, you're having a tough time getting going this morning, but I hope sleeping in helped. I agree Intensity is awesome and I loved the premix I did #9 that one had boot camp and Lo HiiT and I loved it too! Lots of fun and so happy I got it. Keep up the hard but fun work with STS Meso 2 week 3. I really love STS but I'm taking a nice break from it since I've done it twice so need to have a break from it for a while. I'll still do weight work every week because its important.
Melissa- I've heard about Heated Yoga classes and they are tough, so good for you giving it a try. I hope you enjoyed taking a break for a couple of days from STS. I know you mentioned you are going to do STS Meso 3 so good luck with that and have an awesome workout tonight.
Hugs to everyone and great job on those kick butt workouts today!
Nora
Roxie- Have a nice visit with your mom, and enjoy your TF break.
Enjoy your low impact cardio tonight and ab work. Have a great workout.
