Good morning,

Thanks for all the b-day wished for DH:) he had a great and fun day yesterday. I bought him one of those bike trainers. He loves riding his bike. He is happy:D

Today I will work my abs and Shoulders/traps!

I will be back later. My best to all. I will try to catch up on personals later!

My workout is done:p I don't have to post it, need to get ready. On Veterans day, we have a lot going on on base! BBL!

Wow. I'm done with M1 of STS already. I'm so surprised! It went so quickly!!

Now I'm wondering what to do about next week. Since I can't do a lot of the cardio I'd normally do during the in between weeks between M1 and M2 I'm wondering if I should just go right into M2 (I feel pretty good so I may opt for this route) or do something like a Core Fusion heavy week with Ride mixed in since that doesn't bug my knee like running has been?

Hmmmm decisions, decisions!

I just wanted to report on my leg workout last night. Decided not to do chest last minute b/c shoulders were sore. I did giant sets again

GS#1
Squats - 60#
Plie squats - 60#
Deadlifts - 50# (2 25# DBs)
Weighted plie hops - 3x14 - 20#

GS#2
Static lunges - 60#
Calf raises - 3x20 - 80#
Rear leg slide back lunges - 15's
Alternating jumping lunges

Squats with low-end pulse - 4 with single low-end pulse, 4 with 3 count low-end pulse - 40#
Plie squats with low-end pulse - 4 with single low-end pulse, 4 with 3 count low-end pulse - 40#
Firewalkers - 8 (4 steps right, 4 steps left = 1)
Weighted donkey kicks - 2x18 - 8#
Inner thigh squeezes with stability ball - 3x24
Roll-ins with hip lifts - 12

It only took about 30 minutes. My kind of leg workout

Nora - you are a machine girl!!!

Jessica - I think you should maybe go with the core fusion and ride and/or kick for the week rather than going right to M2 - especially for the sake of your knee.

Melissa - I think that if you look on the STS section, there were several people who did both of the M3 legs. You could at least try it for one week and see how it goes.

Belinda - sounds like you had a good day yesterday.

Waves to Roxie, Chris, Debbie!!!!

I'm leaning that way, figure it would be good to see what a REAL focus on core will do for me over the course of the week.

I'm forcing myself not to run at all next week (that will make three weeks) and am HOPING that that'll do the trick. Esp since I just signed up for a 5-miler on Thanksgiving that I do every year.

And also Melissa - saw your question yesterday about my knees.

I don't know what "happened" per se other than the half marathon. I fear I may have just done them in with the training for it and the half itself. They are both just pretty sore and I've self-diagnosed myself with Patellar Tendonitis which calls for no running, icing, patella straps, stretching, etc. So that's what I'm TRYING to do but I hate that I cant' run!! I'm going on week two of no running and it stinks!! But hopefully it'll get better with a little bit more time.

PS. about legs in M3, I don't know what I'll do yet when I get there. I LOVE M2 legs best so was considering tossing those into my M3 mix but then thought I might get bored doing that?? Let me know what you decide!!

Hey Girls!

Today I did Cardio Core Circuit! It kicked my BUTT bigtime! Not sure why, but it really was hard for me!

Anyways, Happy Belated Birthday to your DH, Belinda! Sounds like you had a nice day. I bet it must be very busy today for you there. Also give your DH an extra hug of thanks from me!!

Melissa: Oh ouch on that pinched nerve!! How is it doing? I'm not an expert, but it seems that doing Plyo Legs (maybe backing off on the weights) and Squat Rack legs would be ok.

Jessica: Congrats on finishing MESO 1!! It's going by super fast for me this time too. I'm on the 2nd week of Meso 2. Can't believe it! I vote for a core week!!

*waves* to everyone else, I gottta run, kids are home and need me...

Good Morning,

This morning I did 10min Belly Fat Blaster all standing abs. I have also picked up a hospital bed, carried the christmas stuff down from upstairs and swept the front of the store twice now I am hot and sweaty and short on air so I have also done some cardio today. Tonite will be TF HiiT 20 and GS Chest and Triceps.

Ab Stats:
10 min
4 in the zone
120 min hr
148 max hr
50 cals burned.

Hi ladies! Man, does today feel like Friday. And in a bad way!! My Friday's are always very stressfull. I hope this doesn't mean tomorrow will be even worse...:(

Jessica - I hope your knees get better soon so you can get back to running! I have Osgood-Schlatter disease in my right knee. Not only is it painful, but unattractive to boot! No fun...

Heather - all that in 30 minutes...short and sweet!!

Chris - my neck is feeling better, thanks!

Hi Nora, Debbie, Roxie & Belinda!

Thanks everyone for your input on both M3 leg workouts. I'm going to give it a whirl and see how it goes. I have them spaced 3 days apart so that should be okay and I can move it even further if I have to.

Hi girls!;)

I just finished my workout today it was a shorter one for me but it was a run and I haven't done that in probably two or three months and it felt awesome! I was so happy to do a Cardio Coach workout today, its been a long while. I had to have my knee strap thingies on though, for both knees, and no pain. I did have my low back bug me but I had to stop and do some back stretches a few times then resume running and that worked.

Happy Veteran's day and God Bless to those that served or currently serving in the armed forces, "Thank You!":)

Here's today's workout:

Cardio Coach Volume 3 (On TM)= 45 Min
Distance= 3.7 Miles
Calories burned= 584

That's it for my workout today, it just feels wrong to me now when I have the occasional shorter workout, LOL!!:D I know, I'm crazy like that I like longer workout sessions typically.

Have a great Veteran's day everyone and I'll be back later for personals.;)

Hugs to everyone!;):)

Hi girls!;)

I'm back for personals.

Belinda- I saw the ESPN thing. I said allowed Hello Belinda and happy b-day to Belinda's hubby and I even waved to the TV as if you could see me. LOL!!
Nice workout today on your Abs, Shoulders and Traps. Great job today and happy veteran's day!;):D

Jessica- Congrats on yet again finishing STS M1. It does surprise you just how fast the time goes by with STS. I love it though! I don't know if I'd head straight into M2. I've never done it that way and I opt for caution with weight work. If I were you I'd do stuff like Ride, Core Fusion, or a circuit workout. I'd not go straight into M2 but that's me. I tend to get sore in the upperbody with weight work so I know I need that week off. I'd suggest even trying power walking on TM or 'eliptical or even TC for the cardio aspect. I'd explore yoga and stretching options or pilates as well. All of that is very good for stretching and elongating the muscle. I know you'll be careful whatever you decide, so have fun and be safe.;) Take it easy and I hope your knees will appreciate the TLC.:)

Heather- WTG on the leg work! Nice weights too, girl you rocked that leg work last night! Excellent GS work!:D;)

Chris- Wow! Bravo on Cardio Core Circuit, that is a toughie. Hang in there with you busy day! You go girl!;):)

Roxie- Yay, you did 10min Belly Fat Blaster all standing abs, gotta get those abs in there and you did WTG!! Plus you did TF HiiT 20 and GS Chest and Triceps Awesome job on your workout today, ^^^5's! You rocked it today!:)

Melissa- Great idea to space out the workouts the way you mentioned. Always be safe and play it smart, we don't want you to have any injuries. Have a great evening and a stress free weekend!;):)

Ok, girls that's it for me today. Have a great evening and restful nights sleep. See ya all at tomorrow's check in.

Hugs to everyone!;):)
