Hallo and good morning,

I don't know if I wanna run today or do a DVD:eek: will figure it out soon.

Have a wonderful day and workout, everyone! BBL!

Today was total body and I had a fairly good workout. I think I should have gone heavier with just about every exercise.

3 sets/8 reps with 1 minute rest between each set.

Leg Press Station - 200#
Stiff Leg Deadlifts - 85#
Barbell Military Press - 50# (should have gone up)
Incline Dumbbell Curls - 22's
Barbell Rows - 65#/1 set; 75#/2 sets
Incline Dumbbell Press - 35's

Then I did the stretch from Tracey's Cardio KB Challenge. Like that one, wish it was longer.

Last night I hit the gym for shoulders, chest, triceps and abs. I went with the trisets done in 3 sets of 8 reps again like I did on Monday. I started with a 15 minute warm up on the elliptical.

TS#1
Chest flye - 25's
Chest press - 25's
Decline pushups

Staggered chest press -8

TS#2
Standing dumbbell shoulder press - 20's
Lateral raise - 12's
Front raise - 10's

Front raise open to side back to front - 8 reps with 10's

TS#3
Double-arm overhead triceps extension - 30
Lying dumbbell triceps extension - 15's
Double-arm kickbacks - 12's

Triceps dips - 16

I did a variety of ab exercises like hanging leg raises, some weighted exercises, and some stability ball work before finishing off with another 10 minutes on the elliptical.

Nora - hope you're feeling better today!!! And thank you so much for your kind words.

Belinda - I have been following a training plan for the half. It's kicked my booty too!! Nice job with your weights the other day!

Debbie - good job on your weights, even if you said you should have gone heavier. I'm impressed with the incline curls by the way!!

Waves to Chris (who's been super sick), Jessica, and Roxie!!!!!

Well - I got my interval work done on the treadmill and had a really good workout despite me trying to talk myself out of it on the ride home. ;-) The ride was actually really good so I was home in time to do about 45 mins on the treadmill which translated to 4.5 miles. I did three rounds of intervals like this:

warm-up: 3 mins at 3.4 mph

interval 1:
tempo run: 6.7 mph for 3 mins
intervals: 7.5, 6.0, 7.5 mph for one min each
tempo run: 6.7 mph for 3 mins

break - 3 mins at 3.5 mph

interval 2:
tempo run: 7.0 mph for 5 mins
intervals: 7.5, 6.0, 7.5, 7.5, 6.0 mph for one min each
tempo run: 7.0 mph for 5 mins

break - 3 mins at 3.5 mph

interval 3:
tempo run: 7.0 mph for 3 mins
intervals: 8.0, 6.0, 8.0 mph for one min each
tempo run: 7.0 mph for 3 mins

cool down 3 mins at 3.5 mph
done! It's my favorite interval work to do on the treadmill lately. It FLIES by!!

Today I'm planning to do Core Fusion Body Sculpt at lunch (today is my work from home day) and then Kick tonight which I'm SUPER excited for!

Some personals...I need to go back and catch up on last night for the rest of you!

Heather -nice job on the weights, esp the ab work - impressed by the hanging leg raises :)

Debbie - holy leg presses!

Belinda - enjoy your workout, whatever you end up with :)

Hi girls!;)

I just have time right now for a quick check in then I'll be back later for personals.

Here's today's workout:

A New Providence workout w/abs and no bonus= 50 Min
Met Value= 6.50
Calories burned= 444
Love it, total sweatfest!

Exhale: Core Fusion- Energy Flow Yoga- Energy Flow + Sun Salutation part 1= 20 Min
Met Value= 3.0
Calories burned= 82

Total Calories burned= 526 Ok, I know that's not a great calories burn for me, but these were awesome workouts. The calorie count doesn't reflect the awesomeness of the workouts, darn it!

I substituted this for StretchX from P90X. Exhale: Core Fusion: Energy Flow yoga just arrived this morning and I was itching to try it per Jessica's rave reviews. I gotta say its awesome and it will challenge you and make you sweat. You're so right about this Jessica, thanks for the tip, you rock!
I definitely was challenged but in a good way and sweated buckets, love it!;)
Roxie, and Debbie you guys have got to try Exhale : Core fusion:eek:

I'll be back later for personals. Have a great day!;):)

Hugs!;)

Thanks for the shout out, guys!! You're so sweet!

NOT a one workout this week.

I have had a horrible sinus infection. So bad, fevers, chills, body aches, the whole bit, extreme fatigue. I finally got antibiotics and steroids today, and energy wise, I'm revved UP! (steroids), physically: feel like crap still.

I am looking forward to being "cured" by Monday, though , and starting Cathe's March 2011 rotation!!!

Good evening,

Ended up doing HiiT 30/30 this evening.

Chris - feel better soon and get lots of rest, girl! (((HUGS)))

Nora - now I have to check out Core Fusion, lol! Your workouts rock as always, good job!

Thanks Roxie! Needed that kick in the butt today, lol! Have fun with your Pilates tonight.

Jess - I need to copy your intervals run, love it! Awesome job!

Heather - as always nice job on your weight workout. They rock!

Debbie - your total body workouts are amazing. WTG, on those weights.

Tracey Steahl is having a sale on her DVD's, what do you guys recommend? I have never done any of her workouts:rolleyes:
