I have been in depressed mode all week so workouts haven't happened but today I picked myself up and did KCMs KBXing.

Stats:
30 min
9 in the zone
151 min hr
175 max hr
230 cals burned.

Belinda-enjoy whatever cardio you decide to do.
 
Today was full body. Had a great workout and had energy and lots of strength.

2 sets/15 reps with 2 minutes rest between each set.

Weighted Bench Dips - 30#
Hammer Curls - 15's
Hamstring Curls - 40#
Lateral Raise - 11's
Dumbbell Pullovers - 30#
Flat Bench Flyes - 25's

Then I did 5 sets of 30 second elbow planks. 30 second rest between each set. I know 30 seconds is nothing but they felt like 3 minutes. My ab strength has suffered and I'm going to try and change that with this next 8 weeks. I'm hoping to get 2 ab workouts in a week with plank work being on my Saturday agenda.

Had a great compact workout today! Did Turbo Fire HiiT 20 Plus Abs 10 and then did the stretch from Athletic Step!!

Cardio, core and stretch, all in 40 minutes! :)

Insanity- Cardio Power & Resistance= 40 Min
Met Value= 10.50
Calories burned= 573

Total calories burned= 9601;):)

Debbie- Great total body workout for you today. Nice weights too! I have to say its nice to see that your weights were pretty much what I can lift but not weighted bench dips. I have to do those without weight. My wrists just can't take that pressure on them. Oh well, I'm a girl with weak wrists, LOL!!
Bravo on your kick butt total body workout today, sounds like a fun one! WTG!!:):cool:

Chris- Nicely done on the compact but killer workout today! I see you are revisting the FIYAH, love it still like me eh? That is such a fun workout system and I love that I got the Advanced class workout too! Its worth it to me to have that much fun and love working out. Love it! I love the music. The Stretch 10 class is very nice after an intense workout and i love that its on every dvd so you have that oportunity if you want it. I love your workout today and you got a lot done in a little time. Bravo girlfriend!!!:);):cool:

Roxie- I know its hard to kick your own butt to get motivated to workout but it always seems to help my spirits especially when depressed which is a chronic thing for me. I read an article that exercise is actually a way to help and manage depression because the chemicals your brain release during exercise helps to combat depression. Its sort of a natural treatment for depression that doesnot require medication, its kind of cool. Exercise offers great benefits and no harmful side effects, I love that! hang in there girlfriend. Nicely done on KCM's Kick boxing workout, that's a fun one. Take care and take it easy on yourself, your an amazing person so no being mean to you, got that!;) You rock remember that!;):)
