CRAZY STRONG & LOVING IT FOR MARCH 1, 2011

Aunt Flo didn't stop me from working out last week but a headache this a.m. sure did. And no sleep. For the past 4 days my new kitten has been playing at 3 a.m., running around the house, terrorizing the other two cats and making me get up to put him in a spare room. Once I'm up, I have been having a hard time getting back to sleep. I think it took its toll this morning.

Got up at 3, put the kitten in the spare room and went back to bed. Again, could not go back to sleep. Alarm goes off, I get up with all intentions of working out and after I watched General Hospital - dozing off throughout the entire show - I decided to go back to bed. My head was just pounding.

I feel much better now and I feel guilty about not working out. But I still have two days this week to get in my cardio. I'll just have to do my stretching in the p.m.

I sure hope he gets over this stage fast... :(
 
Debbie - sorry about the sleep, kitty and headache:confused: I been getting a lot of heachache too, my sinus is acting up again:(

Thanks to NORA:eek::p I been doing a lot of workoutdvd shopping:p Thanks for the coupon code. I also odered a lot of Amy Bento DVD's from Advancedworkouts. com, found a 10% coupon on line today;) I got Amy Bento's ab/stretch DVD from advancedworkouts.com a few month ago, I only paid $5 for her blow out dvds. They still selling for $5;) can't beat the price!

Need to walk the dogs, than cook dinner. Later this evening I will go to the gym! BBL!
 
Hi ladies. Workout recap:

Saturday - 10.5 mile run (last long run before half marathon)
Sunday - MMA Boxing & PH abs
Monday - elliptical and back/biceps at the gym. I had a really strong workout (maybe b/c I was pissed at insurance and had lots of steam to blow off LOL)

TS#1 3x8
Underhand barbell rows - 80#
Pullovers - 30#
Single-arm rows - 30#

TS#2 3x8
Dumbbell curls - 15's (really need to bring weighted gloves with me to gym)
Hammer curls - 15's
Cross-body curls - 15's

Assisted pullups - 8
Concentration curls TF - 5 with 20#

While I felt like 15's were too light at first, doing the trisets did help bring on the burn :eek:

Today I have a run on the books.

Debbie - I am thinking of starting that 8-week rotation again. I love love love it. But I actually like the results from the 1st 4 weeks the most. Do you think the 1st half is more building and 2nd more cutting? I was thinking of doing the 4 weeks twice through then the last half for a 12-week plan. Thoughts on that???

I didn't get a chance to workout last night with DD and her DH here things got alittle crazy. I didn't sleep very well last night woke up with a serious stomache and it is still bothering me this morning. Tonite will be EBs Slo-Robics. I got a look at Cathe's March Rotation and I think I am going to give that one a try.

Belinda-good job with your workout sounds like you had fun yesterday.

Debbie-sucks you didn't get a day off that didn't sound fun to me. Sorry to hear the kitty is being a pain.

Ladies! Sorry I've been so in and out on the forums lately! I've felt so scattered lately, I'm sorry!

I'm trying to catch up on personals later, but from the looks of it, you're all rocking the worrkouts as usual!

I've been rocking the Core Fusion and can't believe the month long "challenge" is technically over this week. I'm planning to continue on with Core Fusion - adding in actual classes for two weeks this month (starting next week) since I got a great deal from Rue La La on two weeks worth of classes for 25 bucks! Such a steal considering ONE class is 24 bucks alone! I'm excited for that. I'm also continuing to run, spin, and Kick. But primary weight work continues to be body-based with CF. I'm actually really intrigued by the results. Who knew??

Calories burned= 258
Turkish Get ups are so not happening I am definately struggling with this, but darn it, I'll get it!;)

Total calories burned= 859;)
