Today was Day 4 of Cto5K. Ran the same speed as Monday, 4.5, but did one more interval more. Just felt like it. Had a great workout. Monday the highest my HR got was 150 bpm, today was 146 bpm. I guess that's good, right?

I also did the ab work from Rapid Fire.

I did Amy Bento" All Cardio Hi Low Knockout" 87 min:eek: Had an awesome and sweaty workout. I also like the ab wo in that one, different. Got a nice burn. If I am not to lazy this everning I will add some yoga.

Oh, I ordered a few DVD's on July 1 (www.advancedworkoutsdvds.com , she had a great sale going on that day(one day only), I got DVD's for $1.99. I was gonna tell you guys about the sale the next day, but she raised the prices :eek:) I am still waiting for my workout dvds from amazon.com :p bought a few dvds on sale there too:confused::rolleyes: I am done for this year, I think:eek:

Debbie - it's sooo hot and humid today, I couldn't run today:confused: I wished I had a TM. Once you get used to running, your HR will go down. Mine isn't that high when I run, unless it's very hot outside, I will get it up to 160 -170.

Hi Girls!!!

Nice hot summer day here! :) I guess it's easier to take when you have a pool (although it's not a huge pool, I can get wet and float in it!) and A/C. Two keys to enjoying the hot weather! I just am in love with wearing flip flops and short sleeves/sleeveless and not getting goosebumps from being chilly!

This morning I did Peak Fit's Cardio Strength. This is an awesome workout! I know I'm not the biggest fan of Compound and Functional weight work, but the 2nd time around on this one, I enjoyed a LOT! There are 5 cycles, you do each cycle twice (first one side, and then the other). They start w/ weight work (compound/functional) and then progress into moderate cardio escalating to a "Peak" (interval). The intervals on this one are short (THANK YOU!). Let me just say I was a DRIPPING wet when i got done!

Nora: It is less impact than Turbo Fire. Definitely. So far, anyways. The cardio portion"peaks" are shorter than TF or any Cathe ones. Like 30 seconds. But enough to make you feel like puking. The "Peaks" are the biggest impact moves too. Though there are small hops and squat jump moves too (in the moderate cardio). But not BIG moves. .... Awesome job on TF 60 and the abs yesterday!!! Fun workout!!! ... Get that lemonade stand going so you can join me on PF!! ;)

Belinda: WOW! can't believe you did MIS yesterday. I have't done that one in YEARS. I do remember it being intense though! And great long cardio today!! another WOW!!!

Debbie: You're doing great on the running! I would imagine your HR would drop as you become more accustomed to it. Nice job on abs too!

Belinda- Awesome workout with Amy Bento" All Cardio Hi Low Knockout". I have that workout it is awesome I completely agree with you. Killer workout there girlfriend, I know you had fun with it too! WTG!! I know its hot where you are so keep cool! Take care;):)

Chris- Bravo on Peak Fit's Cardio Strength workout today. I can't wait to get mine I did order them today, YAY!!! I couldn't help but notice the price being less than when it was initally introduced and love the free shipping so I ordered it. I still want Aero Box system too but I can't swing it right now and I still want to get 10 Minute Trainer, and Paul Katami's new Kettlebell workout that also uses a high step so its more like interval circuit burn sort of workout. I know I'm such a workout junkie, :p:D I can't help all these great workout to do, I can't resist! You know how it is.... Thanks for answering my question about the impact on PeakFit Challenge I can't wait to get it YAY!!:cool: Again, awesome job on your workout today.
