Horizontal Dumbbell Rows & Dumbbell Curls - 18's - 12 reps - 2 sets (warmup)

BACK/BICEPS:

SS #1
T-Bar Rows - 80#/8 reps - 3 sets
ss w/
Barbell Curls - 55#/8 reps - 3 sets

SS #2
Australian Pullups - BW/10 reps - 3 sets
ss w/
Incline Dumbbell Curls - 18's/10 reps - 3 sets

SS #3
Double-Arm Dumbbell Rows - 23's#/12 reps - 3 sets
ss w/
Zottman Curls - 15's/12 reps - 3 sets

Today was supersets and I worked Back & Biceps. Had a really good workout.

WARMUP:
1 min. rest between each set

1 min. 30 second rest between each superset.

Incline Dumbbell Curls - 16's/10 reps - 3 sets

Biceps were fried.

I then did the Ab Work from Step, Jump & Pump. Need to work on my planks.
 
Hi ladies - last night I did start my half marathon training plan. It called for 2 miles done as 7, 1-minute intervals. I am going to have to get a better grasp on fast run vs full on sprint. Apparently I was not supposed to be sprinting for a minute. oops.

My quads are actually sore now, but at least my IT band is holding up. I think today will be a rest day, though I was hoping to hold out and take it on Friday.

Debbie & Belinda - you ladies are rocking the weights!!

Nora - looks like a good workout last night!

Jessica - did you beat the dreadmill today? Have you tried intervals yet???

Today I kept it really light. I did Drill Max warm up, and then Turbo Fire Stretch 40 (Yoga and stretching). I think I may try a walk later on with Buddy. We haven't gone to the park in a long time together! Or I may just hang at home. I sure have enough cleaning, etc to do!

Wow, Belinda and Debbie!! :eek: on those weights today!!! I can imagine how bad that all burned!!! good job!!!

Heather: That sounds like a cool marathon to train for. So if it's not 1 minute of sprinting, how long is it SUPPOSED to be?

Chris - It's 1 minute but not full out sprinting. More of a race pace than sprint to the finish LOL. Basically, I pushed WAY too hard. Go figure right :eek:

If you get out for a walk with Buddy, hope you enjoy it!

Sorry, I didn't make it back last night for personals. I've had alot of low back and neck pain lately and its been miserable for me especially sleepwise. I'll try to do personals tonight.

Here's today's workout:

Jillian Michaels iFit Card- Lose Wt-Level 2,Prg 1, Wk 1= 30 Min on Treadmill
Distance= 2.10 Miles
Calories burned= 390

STS Total Body-Timesaver= Premix#1 Compound Only w/Abs= Approx. 55 Min
Met Value= 6.0
Calories burned= 451
I wasn't feeling up to the full 66 minutes of STS Total Body especially with my back killing me and my neck too. Jillian really killed me on the TM and my back was letting me know all about it too! So I opted to try a premix of STS Total Body versus not doing it at all. The Premix was really great and had some stuff in it that the full on 66 min version didn't have in it. So, that was cool. Love using the Turbo Tower its so awesome and really adds a dimension over not having one did.

Total calories burned from today's workout= 841 not too shabby.;):cool:

Debbie- Another killer back and bi's workout from our workout with weights queen. Awesome work today and you did abs too! Extra gold stars for you today! It sounds like you did great job with the rotation you made up I noticed that a few our ladies are following with rave reviews, no surprise there you do come up with awesome workout rotations. WTG Debbie keep on doing what you do and inspiring us all along the way with our workouts. ;):)

Heather- I didn't know you were training for a half marathon, good luck to you. That is no small feat by any means, gees that's some tough stuff training wise. Train smart and safe. Hugs!:)

Chris- Nicely done on your light workout today. Drillmax warmup is great and Turbo Fire Stretch 40 is very nice. I hope you and Buddy had a nice walk today. Have a great evening my friend and sleep well.;)

That's it for me today, I'm exhausted and in pain. I haven't been sleeping well either maybe I'll do better tonight, fingers crossed. Seeya all at tomorrow's check in.:);)
