Good morning,

I have cardio/abs on tap today:D

What are your plans this weekend? Mine:eek: Need to clean my floors:confused: never ending story!

Today was total body, same workout as I did last Saturday but in superset fashion. Had a great short workout.

2 minutes rest between each set.

Did 2 sets/15 reps with each superset.

Weighted Bench Dips - 30# (up 5#)
ss w/
Dumbbell Calf Raises - 40's (up 5#)

SS #2
Barbell Shoulder Shrugs - 100#
ss w/
Lateral Raise - 11's (up 1#)
***This was suppose to be Hamstring Curls ss w/ Lateral Raises but my knee is still really bothering me. I figure I better skip the leg work for today. It feels better, though.

Bent Over Lateral Raise - 13's (up 1#)
ss w/
Decline Dumbbell Flyes - 25's (up 5#)

Short and sweet. Love those kinds of workouts!!!
 
Good Morning,

Today I did C&W cardio and compound wts. I don't understand why this workout has a dread factor for me when its really fun and gets alot done in a short time. I want to do 4ds KB later today.

Stats:
48 min
17 in the zone
150 min hr
179 max hr
364 cals burned.

Belinda-DD has a key to our house so locking the doors won't work. She didn't show up this morning so the room was all mine.

Debbie-nice workout. Be careful with that knee.
 
Hi girls!;)

I just finished today' workout and Cathe's January 2011 Rotation. I may take a week off to rest up not sure yet.

Here's today's workout:

Low Max= 70 Min
Calories burned= 675
Met Value= 6.50

I haven't done this workout in a while I like the lower impact but half way through I had to switch from 8 inch risers to just six inch. I was getting dizzy and seeing spots so I was feeling shakey more so than usual balance wise and thought I'd better go to lower risers before I broke an ankle or worse. I was able to finish th workout but just felt like it was a really weak workout performance for me, not good. My knees hurt so that's why I'm thinking of maybe taking a week off, but I just got a spin bike for home a Gold's Gym Power Spin 290 Upright bike, so I might do that and some toning stuff next week. I know that the bike would be more knee friendly with no impact. I'm excited to try it out. I also am thinking of getting into kettlebell workouts that I have and eventually one day TRX, I've heard nothing but good stuff about it and I love that it is completely portable so that's great where space is an issue. I have to laugh because space is always an issue, right?:p

Belinda- I'm sure your cardio and abs you were planning for today went awesome as per your usual workout performance, you rock the workouts girl! How's Browler doing? I hope he's feeling better. I know what you mean about moping the floors its like laundry its one of those chores that is just never ending. It always needs done, ugh! Hang in there and keep up the great job with your workouts, give Browler a hug for me.

Debbie- What a great short workout, that's awesome its a nice way to end up the workout schedule for the week. Man, girl you can lift some serious weights, that is so amazing you are my hero. Gees, 100#'s BB Shoulder shrugs:eek: Bravo!!!:):cool: WTG!!!

Roxie- C+W is a fun workout but I have to confess I've only done that one 1X or 2X I forgot about that option and usually do Imax 2. I love that one. C+W is great and its one I need to use more often. I do love circuit workouts to mix up the cardio a bit when I feel sort of blah about it. Its a keeper! I hope you had a great workout today, and 4DS is always great and you can't beat all the premix options, love that! Have a great evening & weekend.

Hello's and hugs shout outs to: Heather, Melissa,Jessica, Jolene, and Chris, wishing all the best and all the best in your workouts. I'm curious to find out what Jessica thought of TRX? I'm thinking of saving up for it, and I love its portability and serious lack of storage and total awesomeness in its workouts.
I'll check in Monday still not sure if I'll just take it as a rest week or not. I'll be here to check in regardless.

Good evening,

No workout to report today:( I cleaned my house. Did some shopping, than more shopping. Time just ran away today.

Debbie - very impressive weights, girl! That's a lot of weight for shoulders, wtg!

Nora - congrats on finishing Cathe's Jan rotaiton! I think taking a week recovery is a great idea! You been working out really hard the last few month! Your body will thank you for it! Yeah, on the new bike! Let me know, how you like

Ok, I am already trying to figure out my rotation for May! I know, I am nuts! I already told you guys we will be traveling in our RV for a few weeks, right? Do you guys know or done a Cathe/Debbie rotation that doesn't need a lot of equitments? I do have Cathe's small step/ a small BB ( up to 50 #), a stability ball/mat/ tubing & bands. I got all my DB's here in Germany. Buying new/few DB's isn't a probem. I need a rotation that doesn't require heavy DB's:eek: any ideas or recommandations? I do have all Cathe's DVD's (minus the Classics), I have Amy Bento Bootcamp/KB surge/Step Calllenge! I have Jillian Michels & Bob Harbors DVD's. I also have Insanity! Thanks in advance!
