CRAZY STRONG & LOVING IT FOR FEB 25, 2011

Today was yoga and I chose Karen Voight's Yoga Strength from her Yoga Focus DVD. I really wanted to do the yoga from P90X but the dvd wouldn't play in my dvd player. Not sure why, it's always worked before. Oh well. This one was only 30 minutes and honeslty, I'm not sure I could have done an hour anyways. My muscles are still so tight. I had a hard time holding alot of the poses and my balance was way off. I need to just keep at this.

Wow, we are in the middle of a horrid snow storm and I have to go into work today. I'm so pissed that my stupid boss wants me to get invoicing done today instead of Monday. What the hell is one day going to do? If I would have worked on Monday I would call him right now and tell him I'm not coming in. But I already lost that day and can't lose another. Sometimes I just don't get him.

Yesterday I did my training run on the dreadmill. It was supposed to be 6 miles, 4 x 2:00 incline intervals, 6 pickups. I actually did 4 miles, the intervals, the pickups then did another mile for a total of 7. I just couldn't do 6 miles straight on that darn machine.

This morning I was up early AGAIN (really not sleeping this week) so I got chest, shoulders, abs done. Unless noted, I did 3x8

Pushups - 24
Shoulder press (warmup) - 10 reps 10's

SS#1
Flat bench chest flye - 25's
Chest press - 25's

SS#2
DB shoulder press - 20's
Lateral raises - 12's

SS#3
Incline bench chest flye - 25's
Incline bench chest press - 25's

SS#4
DB upright rows - 20's
Rear delt flye - 12's

Staggered press - 12 reps with 20's
Front raise - 12 reps with 10's

I did abs from High Reps (I seriously love that ab workout).

Well last night's Kick class was AWESOME!! could totally tell a MAJOR difference in my form from a stronger core. It's the first time I did Kick since I've been doing this 30-day Core Fusion challenge and it was really noticeable the change!

Today I got up and did Core Fusion Body Sculpt which was great, though I'm now really feeling it in the shoulders and back from Kick and all the conditioning work in CF this morning! Love that :)

Nora - you would love TRX/suspension training! Let me know if you decide to try it. AND as for the Core Fusion 3-pack DVDs? That's exactly what I started with. I soon added Core Fusion Yoga Energy Flow (which I LOVE, and I'm not even a yoga person to begin with!) and I have Core Fusion Bootcamp too. Oh and Lean & Toned. LOVE them all.

Roxie - speaking of? Did you get yours in the mail??

Heather - nicely done on both the run and the weights today. TGIF for realsssss.

Belinda - enjoy STS today!!

Debbie - I'm telling you, try Core Fusion Yoga Energy Flow, I really think you'd dig it since you are very much like me (super tight and inflexible haha). Just a thought :)

Tonite for me is another Ellen Barrett of some kind. I made it to work we probably got 4 inches of snow and 1 inch of ice between the snow layers there were alot of car accidents last night. We are suppose to get snow flurries today when will it ever end.

Belinda-good job with your workout.

Debbie-good job getting yoga in.

Heather-some day you will be able to run outside again.

Jess-Core Fusion Body Sculpt arrived last night. I want to preview it before I try it.

Nora-if I enjoy this Core Fusion I plan on buying one or two.

Hi Girls!

Today was the last day of the 4DS series for me, LIS + Shoulders + Calves + Core.

4DS has definitely grown on me this week! Tough Bi, Tri and shoulder work. Chest & Back.... not horribly tough. Legs, no DOMS. I adore LIS though! So fun!! Hip hop, the Madonna, I love the cross step over the step and then the 2 triples back! too!!

Belinda: I'm not so sure "talking" to the dogs for 45 minutes counts as a calorie burn! :p;) Nice job on STS though! I also love the extended stretch! I'd love some time this afternoon to do it, actually. But that probably won't happen.

Debbie: I think 45 minutes is about all I can do a Yoga/stretch for. Nice job today sticking to it! Sorry about the weather (it's crap here too) and your jerk of a boss.

Jess: Awesome job on keeping up with Core Fusion and Kick!!! You're doing great!!

Roxie: let us know what you think of the Core Fusion , too!

Nora - I wanted to do that P90X stretch this morning (or the yoga one) and I couldn't get them to work on my DVD player. Not sure what was up with that. Love those workouts. Yes, I should try the KCM Bootcamp workout. One of these days. I'm not to big on circuit workouts anymore. But I might get the bug soon. I'll definitely let you know when I do it! Nice workouts yesterday! {{{hugs}}}

Heather - I had my boss come get me. He has a 4x4 Durango. I did not want to drive this morning. The snow has just now stopped. We are buried. I can't wait to go home. Excellent workout today! I also love the ab work from High Reps. It's awesome.

Jess - I will write that down. I have no funds right now for workouts, but I have a wish list! Thanks! Nice workouts!

Roxie - Enjoy your workout tonight! At least we didn't get the ice.

Belinda - Hope you had fun with cleaning max! I need to do that one soon. LOL!
