CRAZY STRONG & LOVING IT FOR FEB 24, 2011

Woke up with cramps this morning, that wonderful TOTM. Was going to just stay in bed but decided that cramps wasn't a good excuse to skip a workout.

Got up, took some Aleve, watched GH and then started my workout.

I chose Cardio Coach #1 and actually had an excellent workout. Felt great and I'm glad I did it. No tightness in my inner thigh and my knees are doing great right now. That is an added plus!

Then I did the Bonus Stretch from Kelly Coffeey Meyer's 30 min. Bootcamp DVD. Love that stretch. Really gets the inner thighs good.

Debbie - Good for you, getting up and getting your workout in! Hope you feel better! How do you like Kelly's Coffey Meyers BC DVD? I almost put it in my basket, but was't sure if I like it or not?

Still didn't get a workout in, got a wicked headache going on all morning/afteroon:mad:

Hi ladies! Sorry I've been MIA this week! Been busy at work and trying to balance my night-time activity so I'm not always so connected ya know??

Been doing a mix of running (mostly on the treadmill, hoping to get back outdoors this weekend) and core fusion and am loving how much stronger my core is feeling...I'm still not all that flexible but that's just gonna be a loooong work in progress, ya know?? I'll touch my toes one of these days ;-)

I'm going to Kick tonight which is sooo exciting, haven't been in forever so I"m excited to go back (my boss literally told me to leave at 5 so I could get to the class in time, seriously best boss ever)!

Debbie - I totally know what you mean about TOTM...I almost always feel ten times better after I work out, totally makes the cramps subside, at least while I'm moving!

Belinda - rest up, headaches and workouts sooo don't mix!!

Good Morning,

I am having a busy day at work trying to catch up from being out of the office yesterday doing oxygen rounds. Today it is only in the 20's after being 50's yesterday and it is sleeting and snowing I hate winter. Tonite for me is Ellen Barretts Slo-Robics.

Debbie-good job getting your workout done.

Jess-I should get my core fusion in the mail tonite.

Belinda-hope your headache goes away soon.
 
Just a quick check in:) I just finished Step Jam from the Classics Volume 1! It wasn't high impact, still got my HR up. Besides the cloth, I liked the workout:D Very fun workout! BBL!
 
Belinda - Believe it or not, I have never done KCM's bootcamp workout. I only got the workout for the Bonus stretch because I heard it was so good. LOL!!!! Nice going with that oldie but goodie! :) I have two more weeks to go on this rotation. I may take my week recovery and then do it again. Love this rotation! For PP, I use BSN Lean Dessert and one I get from Wal Mart, can't remember the name of it.

Jess - Good to see you. My cramps subsided for a while but are back in full gear right now. Yuck!!! Can't wait to go home and lay on the couch.

Roxie - I hate winter too! How's your mom?

Debbie-last I heard she was getting along better than expected. Next week she is moving back closer to my sister and I so I am going to go visit her over the weekend.

I just finished today's workout, and the P90X Stretch X felt awesome, just goes to show that I really needed that after Kettlebells.

Here's today's workout:

A New Providence w/abs minus bonus snatch= 50 Min
Met Value= 6.50
Level of intensity= Medium
Calories burned= 444

P90 X- Stretch X= 57 Min
Met Value= 2.50
Calories burned= 195

Total calories burned= 639

Belinda- Sorry about your headache, ugh that sounds just awful. Please take it easy and no worries about the unscheduled rest day, that happens. Goodness knows you've done tons of workouts so you were do for a day off, just relax and feel better ((Hugs));)m

Debbie- Oh boy, I think we all can relate about the cramps, they suck I'm sure that would be an unamimous vote, no problem. I find that for me doing what you did taking an aleve and then go ahead and exercise strangely enough does help to feel better. I know its not what we were told to do in school, oh well we know better about lots of stuff since then. Nicely done on the CCV1 run today and Kudos on the KCM Bootcamp bonus stretch, that's a good one. You should give KCM's Bootcamp a try if you want to mix things up and do a circuit type workout. Its time friendly. Great workout today and ^^^5's on no pain from your TM CCV1 run, that's awesome!!!WTG!!;):cool:

Jessica- No worries on being MIA you've been juggling a new job, icey winter road conditions, and training for a marathon and just workingout. I'd say that's more than most of us can juggle. No worries, we are just missing your sunny, personality and sense of humor. I love hearing that you are still loving Core Fusion and feeling major strength gains in your core feeling, fit, strong, and sassy. :p Nice to hear and an added perk increased flexibility, that's always a plus, bravo girlfriend!!! Belinda- I see your as bad as me it just kills me to not workout, LOL. You did manage a workout and did Step Jam from the Classics Volume 1. I have that dvd in my collection but haven't tried the step jam from it. I have read that alot of people have fun with it. I have done the abs from it on Ab hits though and watched step jam and it does look like classic cathe fun stepping. I hope this means that nasty headache diappeared. Take it easy now and rest! Heather- Hey girlfriend! Not looking forward to the TM run eh, take an ipod and listen to your favorite music, it helps and makes the time go by faster and even more fun. You go girl on training for that half-marathon, you are awesome!;):) I hear ya on the weather it very gray and gloomy all day and we are having winter storm warnings with ice and snow. Not fun to drive in, so I avoid it as much as possible, but not possible for DH with driving to and from work and taking the kids to school and back. Yikes! Take care and keep warm!^^^5's on your dedication to training for your race!:):cool:;)

Nora - I like that show too! I keep forgetting I have P90X Stretch, need to pull it out! WTG, on your workout today. I just bought The Classics from a Cathlets on FB for only $5 w/shipping! Since this one is so dated, I couldn't get myself to buy it new! It was a lot of fun. You should give it a try!

Heather - hope you had fun with your TM run.
