Just a quick check in for me too:p Workout is done! I also did the extended stretch, needed that! Will post my workout later.

Don't know what I am going to do today need to get some wts. in and I will do crunches here at work the bosses are on vacation. I have decided its time to make a serious commitment to this whole eating better and working out, summer is just around the corner and more skin is going to show. Next month I am going to do Debbie's Dec 08 rotation.

Nora-nice job with your workout. I have had the TM for a very long time but don't use it all that often right now DD is using it.
 
Today body workout for today:

2 sets/8 reps with 1 minute rest between each set.

Incline Barbell Press - 80#
T-Bar Row - 75#
Squats - 85#
Dumbbell Military Press - 15's
***Way too light.
EZ Barbell Curls - 50#
Close Grip Bench Press - 75#

Then I did the bonus stretch from Kelly Coffey Meyers 30 minute Bootcamp.
 
Hi Girls!

Today I had Kickmax on my schedule. I mixed it up a it (KM didn't thrill me). I did a Turbo KICK round 30, that I haven't done in a long time, and then did the leg drills from KM, and the stretch! Decent workout!

Belinda: Triset legs! You lucky girl!

Debbie: BIG weights! And YAY for the stretch!

Roxie: Hi-5's on the 200 crunches!!! Debbie's Dec 08 Rotation is a goodie!

Nora: I getcha on the eating. I also think that being older now (for me) has tripped up my metabolism. So if I eat "off" for 2 days a week, I end up maintaining. If I eat "off" more than that, I will gain. So over the course of the last 5 yrs I've put on some weight too, that I can't shake so easily. I could stand to lose about 15 lbs, and that is being conservative. I'm not looking to be super thin. .... I would be intrigued by what would happen if you didn't work out so much though. I'd be wondering if you are really putting your body into "starvation" by all the calories you burn. Have you ever tried for say, a week, to see what happened? With all that said, you are a HUGE motivator and inspiration any way you do it!

Insanity Cardio Power and Resistance= 40 Min
Met Value= 11.90
Calories burned= 650

Paul Katami- Kettlebell Drills-Kettlebell Workout= 35 Min Used #10 KB
Met Value= 6.50
Calories burned= 311

GS- Back, Sh, & Bi's Timesaver= 36 Min
Met Value= 6.0
Calories burned= 295

Total calories burned= 1,256! Phew!! Cool~

Belinda- You are such an inspiration with your kick butt workouts. Great job on STS D14 and abs today, and a wonderful Extended stretch on the STS workout, I love your workout. Your rocked this workout today, WTG!!:cool:

Roxie- Bravo, for squeezing in abs at work, that's great. I have a couple of other ideas for weight work you could maybe squeeze in at work as well: Wall Squats, Lunges, wall push ups, or triceps push ups on the floor with hands behind you etc... Like what Cathe has us do sometimes on the bench. Keep up the good job with your workouts and fitting fitness in whenever you can, WTG!!;)

Debbie- As usual your workouts are da bomb. Excellent weight work for today!! I did notice you mentioned #15's for dumbell military press was way too light for you. Why the light weights for Military Presses? I ask because I'm wondering if your shoulders are bothering you again, I sure hope not. Great workout Debbie, take it easy.:cool:;)

Chris- Awesome Kick workouts for you today, ^^^5's. I think my metabolism has slowed down some too. I do exercise still if I worked out like I do now in my teens I'd have been a size 2. My goal is not to be superskinny, its to be a healthier more fit and leaner version of me which would be #40 lbs lighter. I'd still probably need to lose another #10's from #40lbs lighter but I don't want to get crazy about it. I'd be happy just losing the #40 lbs and keep it off. Anywho, great workout for you today, keep up the good fight!;):)
