Crazy, Strong & Loving It for December!!!

Today I did XT CSB and I also did SBF LB. I am in week 5 of the XTrain rotation:confused: Still loving it.

Chris - I had no idea you run? Good for you. Make sure you stretch. Love TF. I finally bought the set. So much fun.

I am so ready to take all the xmas stuff down, I already started this morning.:p

So today I did Cardio Coach #6 with Candace and did Challenge 1, 2 and 4. I, of course, had my Fitbit on and I'm getting some big time high calorie burn numbers on my Fitbit. According to my FitBit I burned 750 calories doing this workout. According to my treadmill it was only 297 calories and according to my old HR monitor, it would have been 100 more - 397 calorie. I don't get the difference with all these devices. Which one is right? FitBit and MyFitnessPal uses the 750 calorie burn so I guess I'll go with that, although I don't think its right.

Workout was 50 minutes, ran 3 miles. Had a great workout. It was cool watching my steps climb. I was at 6441 steps when I got off my treadmill. Holey Moley!!!

Chris - How come you don't wear your FitBit anymore? 2 years is a long time, though, I doubt I'll be wearing mine that long. LOL!!! I'm glad to hear your son was behaved for Christmas. I sure hope he can get his anger issues under control, that is never a good thing.

Belinda - I love my FitBit, it's so cool!!! And I have you beat, my Christmas stuff came down yesterday. :)

Roxie - Hope you get your computer working soon. That sucks.

Nora - You can keep track of your calorie burns, steps you take each day (10,000 is the goal per day), how much water your drink and you can link it to your MyFitnessPal account and have it keep track of the foods you eat. Its pretty cool. I'm not too fond of counting calories again, but this sort of makes it not so bad. I'll do it for a while to see if I can lose that last 10#.
 
Debbie - LOL! You did beat me:p I am working on mine today. WTG, on your workout. Glad you like your fitbit. I bought one for my husband, we alway's check who got more steps in:D I also have like 10# to lose. We can do this:D

Debbie- Fantastic workout today with Cardio Coach #6 with Candace and did Challenge 1, 2 and 4. Sounds like your enjoying your FitBit, not sure what the difference are and the various devices for calorie counts. I quite using one when my device stopped working so I just use the workout manager for that. Nicely done today girlfriend great workout and love the calories burn too!:);):D

Hi Guys... quickie check in...

I worked last night, I was hoping to run today, but my legs are still a bit sore (shins especially). (I quit running a few years ago due to Plantar Fasciitis). Today I did KCM Quick Fix Cardio, Premix 1 & 2 (first part of each). Then I did Abs #1 from RWH and finally Total Body Stretching #1.

Alternating Dumbbell Overhead Press - 10's - 12 reps

Chest Fly on Ball

Bent Over Rear Delt Drop Sets - 10's - 16, 12, 8 reps

Lower Chest Incline Fly on Ball

Anyone here use MyFitnessPal? I entered my workout under "Strength" and it seems to want to know every exercise I did. I just entered it as "Chest, Shoulders, Back", I put 24 sets and 16 reps. It didn't ask for calorie burn. Where would that go? When it linked to my Fitbit, it doesn't show any calorie burn either. Anyone know?

How do you get calories burned from Workout Manager? Is there a list of what each workout burns anywhere?

Debbie- Hi! When I use workout manager, I just log in and use my password, then click on calendar, and click on date and day I wish to enter something for. For example for XTrain Chest, Back, & Shoulders= 51 Min (no premixes just full workout), Met Value (MV)= 6.50, Calories burned (CB)= 453. Once you select dvd just scroll down to Xtrain and look for the one you want click on that. Then you can either use that or if you did a premix from that one click on None down arrow to select correct premix. Or if you are doing a non Cathe dvd select dvd, then scroll down to other, then enter the length of workout and the met value and from there it calculates the calories burned. What I do with non cathe dvd's using the other. I find a Cathe workout that seems closest in type and intensity and use that met value. This is what I do to get the info I do. Now with MyFitnessPal I do not enter the workout as weights because It wants to know what weight, exercise, reps etc. for each thing. I just enter it under cardio, add a workout and length of dvd workout and calories burned from info given in workout manager. Now the calories burned given in workout manager I would think is meant as a ball park number some people may burn more or less depending on their own stats and fitness level which varies with each person. As you know the calories burned can vary on each device as well so I use the workout manager because it gives me a ball park number and I already use the workout manager and it doesn't cost me anything, so no worries. I hope that explains things, just play with the workout manager and you'll see what I mean. Great workout today girlfriend, you rocked it!! Impressive weights you used too, Killer workout girlfriend! I had a sore throat when I went to work ended up coming home early after getting what I needed to done. No workout today.

Debbie-in Myfitness Pal you have to use strenght under the cardio option don't know why whoever designed the program wasn't thinking very well. If you want to friend request I am under Roxie65. Nice workout.

Nora-nice workout for you.

Belinda-sounds like you had a good workout. We haven't been able to put a tree up for 2 years house isn't big enough so just little decorations everywhere.

Today I did Cardio Coach #1 and had an excellent workout. The anti-inflammatory prescription the knee doctor gave me a few weeks back has done wonders for my knees. No more pain at all. I can't believe it. I'mstill very careful when jogging or doing a leg workout, but there is no discomfort at all. Yay!!!

So the workout today was 38 minutes, I ran 2.25 miles and burned 330 calories. My Fitbit says I burned 716 calories but I know I didn't burn that much.

Nora - Thank you so much for the instructions on how to figure out a calorie burn with Cathe's workouts. I will check out Workout Manager and use it. I appreciate it. And thanks for letting me know how to log it in Myfitnesspal as well. I don't know why I didn't think of that. Duh!!! You rock girlfriend!!! Nice workout yesterday!!

Roxie - Thanks, I will friend you on Myfitnesspal when I get a minutes. Thanks for telling me about how to log a weight workout. That is a stupid flaw with that program.

Belinda- Congrats on a awesome workout today with XT Cardio Leg Blast and Cathe's new HiiT Low Impact #2 + SBF UB with the bands. I am trying out this week a combination of XTrain, RWH, Ruthless, and Cardio Coach. I really am enjoying it and love mixing XTrain with RWH in with my other stuff. I think RWH is another winner series for Cathe. I think the HiiT Low Impact workouts 1 and 2 I need more practice with but I do have fun with them and like them very much. I love variety its great like a recipe for fitness it takes variety to hit the right notes to please your taste buds. Have wonderful and blessed Wednesday!:):)
