CRAZY, STRONG & LOVING IT for December

So no workout since last Tuesday. No real reason - just being lazy. I have been having some dizzy spells and headaches still, though. Saturday was bad and ended up with a migraine which I only get like twice a year. My mom is having the same problems. She said she has been having dizzy spells but no headaches. My mom never gets headaches. Even with that tumor in her head, she never had headaches until that one day when she was driving and it did all that to her vision. I can't help but wonder if we have some sort of virus? Or if it is something we are eating. God knows my eating has been horrible. I am trying to fix that and am feeling a bit better.

Today I did Cardio Coach #3 and had an ok workout. Nothing spectacular.

I hate doing my stats anymore. Looking at them I don't even feel like I'm working out, it bums me out.

Did you all hear about Paul Walker? I'm so shocked that he passed away. He was a really good person and did a lot for charities. What a shame that he was taken away like that. I loved his Fast and Furious movies. :( RIP.

I decided to do Cathes Dec 2013 Rotation so I might actually use the new workouts. Today was X10 X42 and boy was it tough I also did Shape Abs and Total Body Stretching.

Debbie-even though you don't like your stats you are still working out and thats what is important. I hope you feel better.

Roxie- Good for you your workout sounds awesome with X10 X42,d Shape Abs and Total Body Stretching. Yes X10 is hard but wow do you get a major cardio workout in a short amount of time and burn major calories. I love that you decided to add abs and stretching that is a winning workout you did today girlfriend, be proud! Bravo, you did it!!!;):D;)

Debbie- Oh no about the headaches and dizzy spells, that is no fun. Please take care and feel better ASAP!:) Good job for doing Cardio Coach #3 today, I know you said it was an ok workout. I say you need to give yourself more credit than that, you got it done and that is what is important. You gave your body all the great benefits of exercise and that is something there is no substitute for. Great job on your fitness for today, you did a good thing for your body and got the work out done despite not feeling at your best. High fives to you for getting it done, you're awesome girlfriend. Today I did the Lower Body workout of Low Impact Total Body. I don't care much for this workout. I did the cup exercises without the cups. My knees bother me when I go down that low. Had an ok workout.

I posted on Friday in November thread... I'm here!

I decided to do my own timesaver rotation this month. December is always so busy. Cathe's December rotation looked SO repetitive! And I've done all her new workouts, so it didn't interest me.

yesterday I did Kelly's Trim Down workout #1. and then did STS Extended stretch. Another goal I have is to do stretch/yoga 3 times a week.

today I did Pyramid Upper Body: Up Only Premix w/ Abs

Debbie, you know either way you are working out and getting aerobic benefits. Your HR is lower, and your working your heart the same way! It's all relative! ...If you were unhealthy and your resting HR was HIGHER and then your HR would go even HIGHER you'd be gaining benefits , just as if your HR is lower and you work it to go higher. You're exercising your heart and burning calories ALL ways. ...... Sorry about the headaches/dizziness. Not to sound like an infomercial, but seriously, whole30 eating has helped my headaches go away. I'm pretty much off the headache meds the doctor gave me. (which weren't even working anymore , I swear).

Roxie, enjoy the new workouts! I think X10 is THE hardest , even harder than Tabatacise!!!

I did Great Glutes Timesaver #2 and at one time I swore I would never do this workout because of the low pulse lunges but man this kicked my ass literally those hydrants and pizza presses at the end were killer. I got my max hr all the way up to 208 which probably isn't healthy and really didn't help my sinus headache. My old bosses got in touch with me today and offered me 2 days a week but I am negotiating for 3.

Chris-this rotation is making me do the new workouts some of them I wasn't interested in but they are turning out not to be so bad.

Roxie- Glad your trying out the new workouts in Cathe's December timesaver rotation. Its cool to try out the premixes and sometimes the workout you initially didn't care fore has really great premixes and you can choose from those if the main workout is not to your liking. I have to say I thought I would love Flex train that would be the one for me. I tried it its good but not what I expected, don't get me wrong I do like it. Its just X10 turned out to be the stand out for me of the new ones that I reach for often. LLA is good too and sneaks up on you the next day with DOMS to bring the cows home at least that was the case the first time I did it. Thanks to all of Cathe's premixes I'm now starting to like HS in XTrain, never thought that would happen but the premixes changed my mind plus I sub in jumping rope for when the JJ's get to be too excessive for me. Its a great workout so I use the premixes and modify with jumping Rope and now I don't mind HS at all. Enjoy the new rotation and workouts.;) I hope you get the best possible outcome on the job situation, good luck and all my best on that. :) Great job today with Great Glutes, WTG!! Chris- Nicely done today with yesterday's workout of KCM's Trim Down workout#1 followed by STS Extended Stretch. That sounds like an awesome workout and the stretch is so amazing, good for you. Great job with today's plan of Pyramid Upper Body: Up Only Premix w/ Abs, which is an awesome workout. Its fun rediscovering some older workouts you already have of Cathe's checking it out after a while makes it feel new again. Its great to have workout options and top quality workouts to choose from. Great workouts both yesterday and today Chris, way to kick butt girlfriend, Bravo!!! Go forth and have an awesome butt kickin' day!;):) Yes I do love Trim Down and Shape Up. The premixes are great too, love those workouts KCM's nailin' it isn't she?

Debbie- Great workout today with Lower Body workout of Low Impact Total Body. Its good you decided to do this one today and I know you said you didn't like the dixie cup lunges that they felt weird to your knees. SO glad you decided to modify and do something else in place of that move. That's a good call to modify anything that feels wrong for you. I've done that and workout hindsight has taught me to modify if it doesn't feel right to be safe. WTG Girlfriend. Great job modifying and WTG getting that workout in there you're a star!;):)

Belinda- I hope there is good news where your BIL is concerned.. Having fun in Antigua (sp?)? Enjoy the sun and sand take it all in and have fun and be well !;)

Chris - I keep meaning to check out that website. Or at least read about it. Are you still following it? I think food is a cause of some of my problems. I promise I will look into it. I need to start feeling better, this is ridiculous. I'm happy to hear your headaches are gone. That is amazing!

Nora - I guess we've all learned the hard way that modifying doesn't mean we are weak. It took me a LONG time to learn that! Thanks girlfriend. Nice workout yesterday! You kicked butt as usual!

Roxie - I don't think anyone should get their HR up to 206. That can't be good. Are you sure that is within your range? My highest that I should ever go is 170. I think you are about as old as I am, right? Maybe you're younger, I'm 47. So what "old" boss are you talking about? The one job you hated so much before you moved? Or is this another one? I didn't think you were back to where you were living last year?

Belinda - You must be on vacation? Hope you are having a good time!

I haven't worked out yet but I will do Rockout Knockout Premix 1 and some abs. I have a slight headache today.

Debbie-I was shocked when I looked at my hr monitor and it said that I have never had it that high I think its because I took some sinus medication before, I am 48. Yes it is the same bosses and I have to drive and hour there and a hour home but I can't find employment where we are living and I need a job. I am going to and interview tomarrow morning so we shall see.
 
I finished RK Timesaver 1 and I believe my hr monitor is going on the fritz because it said my max hr was 203.

today I did KCM's Circuit Burn, Workout #2. Loved it! And added on Total Body Stretch #1 . Which felt great!

Nora: I bet that ZRopes workout is KICKASS!!! And of course Combat. Those are fun workouts, I agree! ... I am enjoying revisiting KCM this week. I love Cathe, but it's good to stray a bit from her, and then going back to her will be fun. I may do a round of STS at the start of the year.

Debbie: I am still following Whole30. I am adding in some Paleo approved foods too. But mostly Whole30 stuff. It truly has helped me , I can't even believe how much. And I was very much a DISbeliever when I started it. I did stray at Thanksgiving, and it made me feel icky, so back to it I went!

Roxie: Oh I bet the sinus med made your HR go that high! Be careful!!! I really liked Great Glutes, and yes, those exercises are all ASS burners!!!

I bet Belinda is sunning her toes in Antigua and drinking margaritas! I'm so jelly!!!

Roxie- I agree with Chris that does sound too high and Chris would know better than me since she's a nurse. Its probably your sinus meds and possibly the battery on your HR monitor. Please be safe and take care of you. I'd suggest going to the drug store and getting your blood pressure checked or something. Great job on RK & abs today, that was fantastic I hope you had fun doing it, good for you WTG!!!!

Chris-I like to switch to KCM for a change, you should try one of her rotations I had good results from them I thinm that is what I am going to do in January.
 
Chris-I have the shakes when I get done and I have been fighting a headache all week. I have never had BP problems its always on the low side so maybe that could be a new problem.
 
This morning I did Pyramid Upper Body - the whole workout except abs because I ran out of time. Had a pretty good workout.

Chris - I'm glad the Whole30 is working for you. I printed out the stuff I need to know and even though I won't do it full blown until after the holidays, I am cutting out sugar and dairy right now. I know I've been eating too much of both. Wheat and oats are limited as well. So we'll see. I have no headache right now and no dizzy spells.

I haven't worked out yet DH gave me his cold so I am not feeling very well so I might do it later or make it up later. The job I applied for in town is 2 days a week 16 hours at 8.50 and hour and its for a couple that he has parkinsons and she is extremely OCD so not sure the money is worth it.

I just drug myself through today's workouts due to not feeling well. I guess its a combo of DOMS from KCM's Shape Up Combined premix yesterday and my MS injection side effects. Oh well, it wasn't pretty but I got it done so I'm giving myself a pat on the back for that.

I'm not sure what's wrong with me lately, but I just haven't felt like working out. This morning was the same. I reset my alarm clock and fell back to sleep. I feel good today so I'm not sure why I didn't just get up and get on my treadmill. Maybe the time of year it is? I don't know. I need a kick in my pants, that's for sure.

Biceps are sore from yesterday, though!

Hopefully next week will be better...

Good Morning,

I did Flex Train Timesaver #1 and it was another tough one I am going to feel it tomarrow. I am still one workout down but DH will have a long day at work tomarrow so I can make it up.

Debbie-this time of year its real tough to get out of bed because its so cold and the covers feel so good and motivation seems to lag its a really hard time of year for me but I am trying to push through.

Nora-thank you I am not feeling to bad today don't know about him. Good job with your workout.
