Today was another superset workout. I worked Bi's and Tri's and had a great workout. Almost puke status by the end.

1 minute rest between warmup sets.

1 min. 30 second rest between supersets.

***Wow, tough superset. Really felt it, especially the presses.

***Got a great bicep burn with this one, love that exercise.

***Hammer Curls were making me feel quesy. LOL! Those were tough, my arms were fried.

Should have done about 20 minutes of cardio but didn't. Not sure why, I'm just not wanting to do cardio much. There's something new! :D

Debbie - impressive weights, girl! I am having so much fun with this one, short and sweet! Love it! I love the SS:D On those presses, I felt them big times:p I was like, I have to do 2 more sets ? Crap! They burned! I have DOMS since I started this rotation, love it!
 
Happy Hump Day! Not 100% sure what I am going to do today. I had thought about the gym for back then maybe spin after work. My IT muscle area is really achy though (not the knee, just down the side of the leg). Maybe the elliptical is really and truly my enemy as I have always suspected.

Debbie and Belinda - you guys are freaking rocking those weights. WOW!!!

Nora - hope you're feeling better today! Great workouts last night.

HAHAH you ladies are SO funny!! I was dying catching up on last night's thread. I got your threats loud and clear ladies, don't you worry - I am NOT staying until mid-Jan. No way, man. Though, I really still want to just stick to the two weeks but my husband thinks I should stay until Dec 29 making it three weeks, while my mom and aunt both say to "screw 'em" and stick to two weeks. What to dooooooo. I'm leaning towards Dec 29 only because we have that Mon off anyway so I'd only really be working Tues and part of Wed (not working a full day my last day!) so maybe it's not THAT bad?? Ahh, I HATE this!!!

Now onto the workout - I got my new Kick DVD for the Jan 2011 release and LOVED IT!! Holy propulsion knees!! It was awesome. I followed that up with some core work from Core Fusion. Nice and toasty.

Heather - I vote give spin a whirl, it really didn't bug my knee at all when I had that problem so maybe try it and you might be surprised??

Debbie and Belinda - holy weights! And those super-sets look killer! How long does this workout take you?
 
Jessica - the best thing I did for myself was to give 2 weeks and stick to it and give myself a full week off between jobs. It was so nice to just decompress and start new.

Girl - 2 weeks is the average. Gotta get over feeling like you owe them at this point. I know it's hard (I've totally been there). But you're moving on. They'll be just fine without you (and sometimes that's hard to swallow too).

Tonite for me is BM 2 Upper Body, abs and stretch and then I might throw in some cardio.

Jess-I totally agree with Heather 2 weeks is normal.

Heather-be careful with your knee in whatever you decide to do today. The food was good but the service sucked.

Belinda-good workout nice wts. To funny about the glasses.

Debbie-awesome workout.
 
Thanks ladies, I know...I feel like I need to meet them in the quasi-middle and make end date on Dec 29 vs. Dec 23 but I'm still torn. I'm waiting it out until they ask me to commit to an end date for now. Hmph.

I DID, however, get my offer letter from my new job (I had written/oral commitment before) which makes it SOOO much more real. Wooo!

Sorry, I'm totally hogging this thread the past two days, geeez!
 
Belinda - I'm glad you are liking this rotation. I am too. I get to make up the next 8 weeks with new exercises so I can't wait to do that. I'll send you the update when I'm done.

Heather - That sucks on the elliptical. I know what you are going through, though, I've had tight IT band problems before. They aren't fun. Hope you feel better. Maybe lay on some heat later if you can? And the foam roller really helped me alot.

Jess - I agree with Heather - do your two weeks and take that last week off for yourself. Screw them - YOU DON'T OWE THEM ANYTHING! I'll be going through the same thing when/if I ever give my notice, but I just have to keep telling myself, I've done all I can do here, I owe them nothing. Stay strong and you take that week off. What a great way to start a New Year and a new job! What is your new job title? And on a side note: the superset workouts only take about 40 minutes. Love it!

Chris - I want a heavy bag. I like the one the instructor has in the Rapid Fire workout, it's cool and looks like you can move it around.

Debbie-we went to a place called Houlihans its real expensive but DD had coupons. They messed up my SILs steak and the waitress said she would come back and get it and then she just disappeared 20mins later we flag down the hostess and she took his steak and by the time he got another one the rest of us were done eating when the waitress brought it back she said his meal was free. When we got the check we gave them coupons and they told us that even though we were paying seperately we could only use one of them I told her I thought that was ridiculous so she went and talked to the manager and they let us use the coupons since things weren't right to begin with.

That's three managers all gone by the end of the year, leaving five left. That is ABSURD. No wonder they are freaking out - but hey, their fault for treating us poorly, IMHO.

I know - isn't the timing of it all SO CRAZY?? Couldn't have planned it better if I'd tried to!! My sis is going to a different company and gets to work from home since they are based in Cali, how cool is that? I'm jealous of that part, though I am really excited about Monster! THANK you ladies for being so supportive and excited for me!! :)
 
Ok really annoyed and frustrated at work. Long story short, everyone that I need to be here to get work done is gone and I am working with a completely inept programmer. So I sort of cheated, well, not really as I am using my own personal time, but I took a super long lunch to hit the gym.

I did back workout from M2D18. I omitted the band work and added in pullovers:

Pullups - 12 - assisted machine using 70# (same as last week)
Medium grip chinups - 12 assisted machine using 70# (same as last week)
Chinups - 12 assisted machine using 70# (up 10 from last week)
Underhand barbell rows: 12,10,8,TF - 55# barbell (should have been 60, but they didn't have 2.5# plates)
1-arm horizontal row: 12,10,8,TF - 30#
Pullovers: 12,10,8 - 25#

Spin was good and sweaty. They had to use a track from April, but it was better than the last track they were using the last time I went. I will say that it didn't hurt my knee, but the whole outer side of my leg is achy. Freaking can't do anything apparently.

I'll try to foam roll again when I get home. Not sure that is even helping.

I did the first Plyo Workout from Meso 3. I had a work meeting at 11am, so I ended up doing it when I got back. I wasn't into it as much as I could have been. I have yet more crap going on with my 15 yr old son. *sigh*.
