HAHAH you ladies are SO funny!! I was dying catching up on last night's thread. I got your threats loud and clear ladies, don't you worry - I am NOT staying until mid-Jan. No way, man. Though, I really still want to just stick to the two weeks but my husband thinks I should stay until Dec 29 making it three weeks, while my mom and aunt both say to "screw 'em" and stick to two weeks. What to dooooooo. I'm leaning towards Dec 29 only because we have that Mon off anyway so I'd only really be working Tues and part of Wed (not working a full day my last day!) so maybe it's not THAT bad?? Ahh, I HATE this!!!
Now onto the workout - I got my new Kick DVD for the Jan 2011 release and LOVED IT!! Holy propulsion knees!! It was awesome. I followed that up with some core work from Core Fusion. Nice and toasty.
Heather - I vote give spin a whirl, it really didn't bug my knee at all when I had that problem so maybe try it and you might be surprised??
Debbie and Belinda - holy weights! And those super-sets look killer! How long does this workout take you?
Jessica - the best thing I did for myself was to give 2 weeks and stick to it and give myself a full week off between jobs. It was so nice to just decompress and start new.
Sigh. I REALLY want to stick to that, I really do. I just feel so stuck and like a BAD person if I don't give them three weeks. I don't know what to do![]()
Belinda - I'm glad you are liking this rotation. I am too. I get to make up the next 8 weeks with new exercises so I can't wait to do that. I'll send you the update when I'm done.
Heather - That sucks on the elliptical. I know what you are going through, though, I've had tight IT band problems before. They aren't fun. Hope you feel better. Maybe lay on some heat later if you can? And the foam roller really helped me alot.
Jess - I agree with Heather - do your two weeks and take that last week off for yourself. Screw them - YOU DON'T OWE THEM ANYTHING! I'll be going through the same thing when/if I ever give my notice, but I just have to keep telling myself, I've done all I can do here, I owe them nothing. Stay strong and you take that week off. What a great way to start a New Year and a new job! What is your new job title? And on a side note: the superset workouts only take about 40 minutes. Love it!
Roxie - Nice workout last night and hope you have a great one tonight! How was dinner? Where did you go?
Nora - Nice calorie burn yesterday! You really pushed it, nice job lady!!!!
Chris - I want a heavy bag. I like the one the instructor has in the Rapid Fire workout, it's cool and looks like you can move it around.
Ok to make matters worse, I just heard that another manager gave their notice last week and my sis is about to give HER notice today. That's three managers all gone by the end of the year, leaving five left. That is ABSURD. No wonder they are freaking out - but hey, their fault for treating us poorly, IMHO.
Debbie - I'm going to still be doing PR but for one company versus at a PR agency. I'll be a PR Manager for Monster.com actually!
Roxie - Wow, that sucks. I'm glad you were able to use the coupons. I agree, that is ridiculous that they said you couldn't use it.
Jess - OMG!!! I can't believe others gave their notice as well. Is your sis going to Monster.com too? How cool is that!!! I think that is going to be a great job for you!!!

Checking in quickly with my workout today.
I did the first Plyo Workout from Meso 3. I had a work meeting at 11am, so I ended up doing it when I got back. I wasn't into it as much as I could have been. I have yet more crap going on with my 15 yr old son. *sigh*.
