CRAZY STRONG & LOVING IT FOR DEC 3, 2010

TGIF!! Last night I hit the gym again. I warmed up 10 mins on the elliptical then did back from M2D15. I am sooooo freaking inefficient at the gym it's just laughable. Anyway, I took my green band with me for the band work and was happy to actually have the pullup/chinup option (even if it's assisted).

Lat pulldowns with band -12
T-Pull with band - 12
Y's with band - 12
Pull Ups Overhand - 12 or 30 seconds - 12 @ 70#
Chinups Medium Grip - 12 or 30 seconds - 12 at 70#
Chinups - 12 or 30 seconds - 12 and had to go to 80#
One Arm Row - 12, 10, 8, TF (8) - 30 (didn't have weighted gloves & 35 too heavy for 70%)
Barbell Rows - 12, 10, 8, TF (8) - never get to use barbell, meant to do 60 but am a dork and can't add so it was only 55.

In all honesty, I'm totally embarrassed of the weights. Sigh. After the weights, I hit the elliptical for another 25 minutes. Total workout time was 1:07.

This morning I got up and did MMA Boxing. At lunch I'll do M2D13 Triceps and abs.

I got it yesterday. Somehow Tracey Staehle is involved but not sure how, she's not in the workout or is even mentioned in it. So I have no clue. But that's how I found out about the workout - Tracey's website.

Awesome workout! Very fun and Susan is an excellent instructor. Easy to follow, great kickboxing moves and great music.

I was a little upset because my HRM wasn't working for some reason. I ended up having to restart it around 7 minutes into the workout. Not sure whats going on with that thing lately. It's making me mad.

It has 4 segments - Shadow boxing, Aerobic Kickboxing, Heavy Bag and Core work. I did the Shadow Boxing and Aerobic Kickboxing section then did the Core work. I loved all the segments. The ab work was brutal. I really liked it. She uses a 6# med ball, I used my 8# one. Really could feel it, especially in my lower abs.

I'll be reaching for this often, I'm sure!

Gotta go take my mom to her doctor for her last hip checkup. It's snowing!

Debbie - if it makes you feel better my HRM is pissing me off too. I've changed the batteries in both the watch and the transmitter part even. Sometimes it just won't register a HR then sometimes it stops in the middle sometimes I have a HR while working out of 49 and sometimes 193 :mad:

Anyway, thanks for sharing the link. Going to check it out. Be careful out and about with your mom!

Sorry for being MIA yesterday ladies. I was at an off-site meeting most of the day. Totally wore me out, I hate that!

Anyway, yesterday I did back/bi's from STS M2 - great workout, biceps were DEAD by the end and I'm proudly sporting some back DOMS today too. Woohoo! This morning I got up and did Intensity again (still love it) and followed that up with Core Fusion since I hadn't had a chance to do it earlier in the week like planned. Great workout and I feel super duper energized now!

Heather - why embarrassed on the weights? You shouldn't be at all! You did great and kudos to you for sucking it up and hitting the gym even though you don't really love it ;-)

Debbie - glad you found something new cardio-wise to get you reinvigorated again! Sounds like a fun workout! I think you'd LOVE Kick then, too bad you can't buy those workouts to do at home. It's the best kickboxing workout I've ever done. Love it.

Good Morning,

Work was so stressful yesterday that when I got home I had a headache and my stomach hurt then the cable guy showed up and it took him awhile to get me up and running again. Tonite will be TF 30 Class, Upper Body 20 Class and Abs 10 Class going to really start cracking down on the workouts. I am thinking about doing either Debbie or Cathes Timesaver Dec. rotations just to kick my ass and get me back to the wts.

Heather-never be ashamed of your wts.

Debbie-I believe Tracey helped choregraphed these workouts.

Workout is done! I did Insanity "Pure Cardio"! I must be insane doing those workouts, they are crazy:eek: I still need to work my abs, can't decide with one?

I was also MIA yesterday. Had a busy day and didn't get near done what I wanted to, but some was done. So I just have to be happy with that!

Yesterday I went for a very brisk (COLD!) run at the park. Enjoyed the heck out of it, seriously, I might be a colder weather runner. It felt amazing! It was just the first 10 minutes where I thought iw as going to die with the wind whipping at me. And then I warmed up and felt like stripping down! :eek:

Today I took it easy on myself. I did a lighter cardio, Brazillian Butt Lift's Cardio Axe. it really is a ton of fun, it's brazillian dance cardio. Easy in the beginning, but by the end I'm sweating pretty decently!

Belinda: You are totally INSANE!!! ;)

Debbie: Looks like a cool workout! Glad you have a cardio you like there!

Roxie: Timesavers are a great idea!! Esp for this month!

Heather: You did a good job at the gym! Yes, doing the pull/chin-ups on a bar makes a GIGANTUAN difference! Nice job!

Chris - it's funny how hot you end up getting when you're convinced you need to bundle up for north pole temps!

Haha you are so funny, Chris. Sorry I had you in a scramble about the 2011 calendar ;-) I feel honored to be on the 2010 calendar, tho!!

As for cold running - I'm anticipating one of those myself tomorrow and part of me is dreading the cold but part of me sort of likes it because it is kind of fun after you get all nice and toasty. And the cool air feels fresher somehow??

Just posting lunch workout - triceps:

Flat bench triceps ext (DB) - 12, 10, 8 - 13's (should have tried for 13.5 at least)
Flat bench triceps ext - TF (9)
Side leaning 1-arm overhead ext on ball - 12, 10, 8 - 10
Double-arm Kickbacks - 12,10,8 - 11

I did the abs from High Reps. Loved that. Short but to the point!
 
Love the tricep work on Meso 2!!! Nice job, Heather!

Jessica: I know how you feel! It takes a TON of motivation to get me OUT there in the cold to start the run. A LOT! Don't know why, because once I warm up , I love it!

Hi girls!;)

Its a very late start for my workout today I had some other urgent bills to take care of so that's why.

Here's today's workout:


Low Impact Circuit= 75 Min
Calories burned= 668
Met Value= 6.0

I love this workout its one of the first Cathe dvd's I started with and love and its still a love. So, I'm happy with this today.


FYI Debbie, my Rapid Fire came in today's mail. I can't wait, it looks awesome and its got premixes and chapter too, love that!
