Crazy strong & loving it for Dec 2, 2010

Good morning ladies,

Thanks for all the Anniversary wishes, you guys are the best! DH and I had an awesome day yesterday, we couldn't go anywhere (we are snowed in, we got like 12') still had fun:D DH cooked for me, it was so delishes!

Yesterday I went to our PX (store on base) to buy an Anniversary card, they only had like 2 on the self:( didn't really liked any! So I was shopping for other stuff, I ran into an old friend. I told her I wanted to buy a card, she told me to make one:eek: I am not good at crafts, so she gave me some ideas. I ended up spending $50 on material rather than spending $5 on already made card:eek::p I went a little crazy on Martha Stewart flower stickers and I bought a stamps/pad, stamp ink in gold, vintage card pack (50 cards, they are so pretty), clue you name it, I got it all:eek: From now on I will make my own cards, yeah I spend a lot of money at first, but it will last me for awhile! The first 2 cards I messed up, I never used a stamp before:confused: I got it all figured out now:p I had fun making it too! Oh, Dh couldn't believe I made it;) He loved it!

Do you guys do your own cards? If so where do you buy the supply? I need more ideas on making cards.

Not sure, what is on my rotation for today? I do know, I have to work a little harder today, eating was bad yesterday! I also will post my workout from yesterday and will be back to catch up on personals.

Good morning,

I am done with Insanity " Cardio Power Resistence" 40 min. Tough workout, I may say:confused: That guy is nuts:p I also did the abs from STS Total Body, OMG! That's all I can say. I will switch my workouts around a little, today was suppose to be a leg day, DH has an MRI appt this afternoon, there is no way I get to the gym today. I also need to go German grocery store and the one on base! I will do shoulder tonight when I get back. Atl least I got something done today. Oh, and the scale wasn't so nice this morning:p All this bad food I had yesterday. I need to buckle up again, I got my game face on:D I know, it's probably only water weight, but still....

Today was Legs and I had an excellent workout! I really feel it!

1 minute rest between each set.

QUADS
Squats - 65#/12 reps - 2 sets (warmup)
Squats - 90#/8 reps - 3 sets (up 5#)

Static Barbell Lunges - 75#/10 reps - 3 sets
***These really get me good.

Leg Press Station - 190#/12 reps - 4 sets (up 10#)
***Added a set because I love this exercise.

HAMSTRINGS
Elevated Barbell Deadlifts - 85#/10 reps - 3 sets (up 5#)

Hamstring Curls - 45#/12 reps - 3 sets (up 5#)
***Wow, these were hard. Last set I almost stopped at 10 reps.

CALVES
Barbell Calf Raises - 90#/25 reps - 4 sets
***Toes forward for first set, out for 2nd set and in for 3rd set. Added a fourth set and just did them with toes forward.
 
Last night I ended up doing the elliptical for 45 minutes. No knee problems. Went home and iced it and massaged the IT muscle. Today I will go back to the gym after work and do back. I even have my green resistance band packed for the Y's and T's :D I'll probably try for 30 mins on the elliptical again.

Belinda - I think being snowed in on your anniversary is kind of romantic! I know that a lot of scrapbooking supplies are used for card making as well.

Debbie - I know I say this all the time, but you seriously rock the weights!

Nora - glad to hear the ankle is on the mend.

I didn't get a workout in spent half the night on hold with the cable company we didn't have internet they say we have static in our cable line and so tonite right after work they are going to come out and fix it but like anything else it is working fine now. I want to do TF 30 class and Upper Body 20 still need to do some abs.

Belinda-sounds like a wonderful way to spend and anniversary. Hobby Lobby and Walmart carry scrapbooking supplies.

Alternate Bicep Sweeps - 15's/10 reps - 3 sets, still not sure if I do those right?

Hammer Curls - 16's/12 reps - 3 sets

TRICEPS
Close Grip Bench Press - 65#/8 reps - 3 sets

Decline Dumbbell Tricep Extension - 10's/10 reps - 1 set
Decline Dumbbell Tricep Extension - 13's/10 reps - 2 sets

Double-Arm Kickbacks - 13's/12 reps - 3 sets

Today's:
SHOULDERS
Dumbbell Military Press
- 15's/12 reps - 2 sets (warmup)
Alternate Dumbbell Military Press - 20's/8 reps - 3 sets

Barbell Front Raise - 20#/10 reps - 4 sets, I don't think I ever done those?

Lateral Raises - 16's/12 reps - 3 sets

Bent Over Lateral Raise - 16's/10 reps - 3 sets

TRAPS
Barbell Shrugs - 95#/15 reps - 3 sets

Belinda - let's just say the gym went.... I did it, but it wasn't some super fun, fantastic workout by any means. I just hate having it feel like work now. It better pay off dang it! :eek:

That's it for me today, I feel like I got a good sweat going in today's workout and amazingly I seemed to remember the choreography for the step part. I was pleased at that.
