Good morning,

I will do Insanity" Plyometric Cardio Circuit" plus Biceps & Triceps! I almost forgot my abs:p

I will post my workout tonight!

Today was Back and Biceps. Had a really good workout but why is it so hard to find different back exercises? Rows, rows and rows. It gets boring.

Anyways, this is what I did:

1 minute rest between each set; 3 minute rest between going from back to biceps.

BACK
Horizontal Dumbbell Rows (double arm) - 12's/12 reps - 2 sets (warmup)

T-Bar Rows - 60#/8 reps - 3 sets
***Really should have done 70# here. Will go up to that next tiem.

Australian Pullups - BW/10 reps - 3 sets
***Snorefest here. This is a boring exercise.

Double-Arm Dumbbell Rows - 15's/12 reps - 1 set
Double-Arm Dumbbell Rows - 20's/12 reps - 2 sets
***Should have used 25's. Concentrated on the movement and muscles worked and by the 10th rep, really felt it.

BICEPS
Barbell Curls - 55#/8 reps - 3 sets

Incline Dumbbell Curls - 15's/10 reps - 3 sets
***Really felt these. A little light, but concentrated on the movement. Got a great burn.

Zottman Curls - 15's/12 reps - 3 sets
***Wow, really felt these in my forearms. Did this movement really slow. Bi's and forearms were screaming by the 12th rep.

I need to get some ab work in this week before Roxie yells at me. :)
 
Today I'll take my workout to the gym after work. I will be doing back from M2D21 and probably about 30 mins on the elliptical.

Debbie - I hear you on back. I like pullovers.

Belinda - I'm guessing you had a great workout??!!

Nora - glad you're feeling a little better.

Hi ladies. Feeling a wee bit better about the work thing now that I got it off my chest. Just to serve them right, I came in after 9 today which is SO unlike me. I've always been more of an 8:15 or 8:30 girl most days. Enough is enough ;-)

I got up and did Intensity this morning and, as usual, it kicked my ass. That workout just does NOT get any easier. I actually looked forward to the HiiT work because there are at least some rests in there! Legs are nice and toasty now, that's for sure!

Debbie - I get SO bored of rows too! I actually love pull-ups for back, the pull-up tower makes such a difference!

Heather - good luck facing the gym tonight!!

Belinda - hope Insanity and abs treated you well!

I didn't get a workout out oldest dd and her dh came over unexpectedly and I had to hurry up and wrap her christmas present. Tonite is LM Step and 30 Pushups 200 crunches.

Belinda-congrats on getting those abs done.

Debbie-yes you need to get your abs done. Nice workout.

Jess-that'll teach em. Good Job with your workout.

Heather-nice job with your workout. Have you done abs this week?

Nora-you kicked butt again last night.
 
Girl I always get my abs done ;-) Did them Sunday and again last night and will do them either tomorrow or Saturday. I actually like working core. I'm the oddball LOL

200 crunches, oh my!

Jess-I actually plan on doing those as soon as the bosses leave early today along with the pushups. I don't do a straight 200 crunches I do a variety.

Heather-I knew you were pretty good about those.

I was MIA yesterday because my laptop crashed. I'm now using my 15 yr old son's laptop that we had taken away after his bad report card. So now it's MINE until HOPEFULLY my DH can recover mine. But have to wait until his days off this weekend...

Quick post though,

Yesterday I did Athletic Step and BOTH my calves starting pulling about 30 minutes in it. Though i was having a blast DOING it, I had to stop. They hurt all day, like DOMS. it was weird. Today they are a bit better. i did Muscle Endurance Abs after my 30 minutes and stretched. Today was my first time doing Lower Body Blast!! (I subbed it in for Plyo Legs Week #2). It was killer!!! Some great new exercises , I "enjoyed" (BURNED!!!)

Gotta get going! Much to do today...

30 pushups and 200 crunches done. I didn't eat any lunch today stomach has been upset ate a good breakfast though and a mid morning snack.

I just finished my workout today. I'm not feeling like I have a whole lot of energy and a bit weak today, probably just MS fatigue from not getting enough sleep.

Here's today's workout:


Step Blast= 55 Min
Calories burned= 571
Met Value= 7.0

STS Ab Circuits- No Equipment Abs= 17 Min
Met Value= 4.50
Calories burned= 105

Total Calories burned= 676

I fell into a dresser while doing Kickbox lastnight and I'm feeling super sore and bruised on my right side arm pit area and right side some lats and obliques, not fun. I lost my balance when this happened so I'm feeling sore and bruised today definitely not at my best. I honestly don;'t think I'll be able to leave personals today, sorry I'm just to sore and tired for that. Great job on all of your workouts today girls WTG!! I'll see ya at tomorrow's check-in.
