My plan today is Insanity" Plyometric Cardio Circuit" & legs/abs! And more cleanmax!

I will be back to report my workout!

Today was Shoulders and Traps and I had a really good workout. Really had a killer workout, my shoulders were fried by the end.

WARMUP:
1 minute rest between each set.
Dumbbell Military Press - 12's/15 reps - 2 sets

SHOULDERS/TRAPS
1 minute 30 second rest between each superset.
SS #1
Alternate Dumbbell Military Press - 20's/8 reps - 4 sets
ss w/
Lateral Raise - 13's/12 reps - 4 sets
***Really really felt these. By the 4th set shoulders were really burning.

SS #2
Barbell Front Raise - 25#/10 reps - 4 sets
ss w/
Bent-Over Lateral Raise - 17's/10 reps - 4 sets
***Could have gone heavier with the front raises. Felt really strong today.

Barbell Shrugs - 100#/15 reps - 4 sets

No cardio again today. Just don't have the motivation to do cardio. I sure hope I get out of this funk. It's been going on way too long, though.

Today was my quickie workout for a busy Saturday. I did Turbo Fire HiiT 20! Nice quick sweaty workout! Loved it!

Onto crazy cleaning, cooking, getting stuff ready for work tonight...

Belinda: You are an inspiration..not only on your Insanity workouts, but your insanity cleaning!!! Are all your kids coming home for Christmas? (Do you have 2 or 3?)

Debbie: NICE job on the weights today!!! You sure do lift heavY!!!. Bummer on the cardio. Too bad you couldn't find something you LIKE to do that you WANT to do and not dread it. Have you tried swimming? Or maybe get some dancy cardios? Or maybe Turbo Fire? I really think you'd like Turbo Fire. The music is so motivating!

Nora: Nice job on your DOUBLE workout yesterday!! YOu nut you!!! ... You give me hope that my now 11 yr old son won't be as icky as my 15 yr old when he gets there. Thank you!!! And I have not checked the return policy of the hospital! Thanks for that idea too!!!! ;)

Well ladies, I'm in LOVE with STS Total Body. It was SOOOO good and such a challenge. Like the perfect mix of M1 and M2 in my mind, and I actually liked the abs section even though I def did feel it in the hip flexors. I was a sweaty mess at the end which I loved too! Long workout for weights but worth it, felt good to work the whole body!

Belinda - I had to laugh. I was literally cleaning my windows this morning too, and it's winter. I'm glad I'm not the only one!!! ;-)

Chris - I'm in the maroon shirt, my sis is in the pink. Funny, right??

Debbie - nice workout today, as usual. I'm sorry you are still in the cardio funk though, do you think it's mainly because each time you've done cardio lately you've ended up having some pain? Maybe that's why you're not really into it lately?

I am going to try and do B&G Leg Blast. I need to really start getting up in the mornings and get my workouts done. Family pictures turned out really good.
 
Hi girls;)

Just a super quick check in tonight. I'm taking care of my DH and having to be nurse maid to help him with post surgery recovery. He says that now having hernia surgery and a one inch incision gives him a new found respect for me and my 2 X C-sections and my 3-4 inch scar from that LOL! Plus I had a toddler and a new born to take care of and no help at all during the day. He now says, he's not worthy of me and is awed by my strength and pain tolerance. LOL!!

Here's today's workout I just finished and I even used my Turbo Tower doing pull-ups and it was really challenging more so than the tubing and I felt every muscle in my back that was being used. I love my Turbo Tower, its awesome!!:)

Calories burned= 627

Super fun workout and a absolute sweatfest and it wasn't hard to see what weights Cathe used. I had to keep reminding myself this is a muscle endurance workout so use the weights I think I can do so safely using what I think Cathe is using going lighter and more reps. Fun stuff, I really had fun with this one.
