Good morning ladies,

Today I will do Insanity " Pure Cardio" and abs! Last night DH and I went to a x-mas party here on base. Almost didn't went, ended up having lots of fun:) I will catch up on personals today, have a lot to catch up too!

Chris - boy's ...I tell you! Been there, boy's are something. Went through the same crap with my son! Hang in there!

TGIF!!! Ok, so I made myself do triceps and abs after work. Glad it's done b/c today I'm resting. Triceps were M2D19:

Lying dumbbell extensions - 12,10,8,12,10,8 - 13's,13.5's,14's
Cross-body kickbacks - 12,10,TF - 11's and did 8 for TF (HATE this exercise BTW)
Double-arm kickbacks - 12,10,TF - 12's and did 16 TF (prob should have used 12.5's)

I did abs from KPC then stretched and foam rolled my IT band.

Roxie - looks like you got in a good one last night.

Nora - glad you took the rest, sounds like you needed it. I recently read something about doubling up to make up for workouts not really being ideal. Maybe you should just do what's planned and if you don't get in Sunday, then just enjoy it. You work soooooo hard.

Belinda - sometimes you just have to force yourself to those parties and then they end up being so much fun. That happened to me last Sat.

Well Kick last night was so much fun that this morning I got up and did Kick at home using the newest workout we just got that will launch at our gym in January. It is SUCH a fun workout and flies by. So I was a kicking fiend this week which isn't necessarily a bad thing.;-) Lots of core work involved in all those kicks and punches so I'm feeling the burn today!! I am really excited to try STS Total Body tomorrow - I will def report back on how that goes!!

Heather - I'm glad you chose to rest today even though I even offered you an "out" last night. ;-) Enjoy it!!

Belinda - agree with Heather, sometimes the best parties are those that you didn't expect to enjoy going to!

Nora - hang in there and rest up. I agree with Heather on this one too, doubling up is probably not entirely the best way to go just because you missed yesterday, that's ok. You needed it! Pick one workout and do it well, as you always do!

Good Morning,

I won't be able to workout tonite we are having family portraits done for the first time in 23 years so I don't want to mess up my hair or makeup. I wanted to get up this morning but it was so warm in bed and DH has been on vacation all week so he has been wanting to cuddle just before I get up.

Chris-hang in there I had to teenage daughters and contrary to what Nora says they are moody all the time not just TOM. One day they are angles the next witches and then cryers for no reason.

Heather-good job getting your workout in.

Jess-sounds like you had a fun when.
 
Well, today was suppose to be cardio but it's TTOM and it's really hitting me hard. Yesterday I had a horrible headache and cramps all day and it wasn't that much better this morning. I couldn't even imagine jumping around so I am just calling this an unscheduled rest day.

Tomorrow I will do my shoulder superset workout and then do at least 30 minutes of cardio. By then I should be ok.

Workout is done! Holy crap! That's all I can say, lol! Yesterday's workout " Cardio Recovery was more like stretching, really enjoyed that one! BBL!
 
Hi Girls!!

Almost forgot to check in, I've had a busy-ish day mostly.

I did Meso 3, Disc 27, Shoulders Triceps and Biceps this morning. My first Meso 3 for these body parts. It was trisets , done 4 times through. Not as "cut and dry" as the Chest & Back. Just because there was different equipment (chair, bench, ball, mat). But I liked the exercises a lot. Except the workout was 67 MINUTES! Long.

Belinda: Ah! So Insanity Recovery really IS recovery!!! LOL!. I bet today's cardio was kickbutt!!! Glad you enjoyed the Christmas party. ... I'm not so sure it's the boy part of teenage boy. I think it's the TEEN part. The mood swings. Wow. And I get the MOUTH (fresh, said the F word TO me, his MOTHER!! :eek:).

Nora: You must have been DEAD tired to have not been able to work out yesterday. I'm glad you followed your body signals. I think you having an extra rest day this week is not going to make a huge difference. I do think it could mix your body up and do it good, actually!.... We both have 15 yr old sons, huh? Crazinesss. No, I don't wish for a teenage girl. LOL!

Debbie: Just reading your PMS/Period symptoms made me cringe! Don't you think they just get worse as we get older? I can not stand it. well, actually, I COULDN'T stand it. I went on birth control pills for the extreme PMS I was getting. Most of it went away. I just get extremly fatigued and sometimes my BAD unrelenting headache. Your plan for tomorrow sounds good!

Heather: I do love tricep work! What is your favorite body part to work? Abs are THE best from KPC!

Roxie: Great workout last night! You got it all in there in an hour! Nice! Hope your picture session goes well tonight!

Jessica: You are a kicking FIEND!! Hey, which one are you on the Cathe calendar? I look at that picture every time I go do my workout and mean to ask you!

I just finished my workout for today, I did double up like I thought I would. It felt great to get a nice run in today.

Here's today's workouts:

Cardio Coach Volume 3= 45 Min
Met Value= 9.0
Calories burned= 553
Distance= 3.42 Miles
BPM= 154 84% MHR

KPC= 68 Min
Calories burned= 707
Met Value= 7.0

Total Calories burned from today's workout= 1260:eek::cool:

Hi girls!;)

I'm back for personals. I had a fun workout today doubling up making up for yesterday's missed workout and doing today's workout as well. Anywho, I'm caught up now. I can still have my sunday to rest and watch football.:D

Belinda- Nice workout with Insanity Pure Cardio and abs. I know how challenging Insanity is and its a sure fire calorie incinerator. Great job on abs too! WTG girl. I hope you had fun at the Christmas Party on base. :)

Heather- Nice job with Triceps and Abs last night. And tonight is a rest night, and so well deserved too. I know you've been doing killer workouts so a rest night is great, enjoy and that's an order!:p;):cool:

Jessica- WTG on all the awesome Turbo Kick workouts, they sound like total fun, I love kick too. Yes, and you definitely use the core alot in kickboxing, which is always a plus in my book. I have done STS Total Body once so far and its awesome, you will love, love, love it. You can use your Turbo Tower on it and only in the chapters men there is a section on the last page that's Back super sets 1 and 2 that you do one arm rows and pullups on the Turbo Tower. I'm adding just that part into tomorrow's workout along with some other stuff from High reps Abs etc... You will LOVE, LOVE, LOVE STS Total Body. I thought of you and Chris when I did that one too!

Roxie- Enjoy this as a rest night and have a awesome time with family pictures tonight, sounds like fun. Take care and hugs!;)

Debbie- What's TTOM? I think I missed something there. Oh, sorry that your not feeling well with cramps and stuff. I agree this sounds like a great night to have an unschedule rest day and just rest, relax and feel better. Hugs!;)

Chris- Bravo on your workout of STS Meso 3, Disc 27, Shoulders Triceps and Biceps I love STS. Great job on STS today. Yep, teenage sons, HELP!!! LOL!! I have two but the younger one is 13 and he seems to be handling the hormone changes much better and is much more pleasant to be around. It's funny two boys that are brothers completely different personalities and dispositions entirely thank goodness.:p Don't get me wrong I love both my boys but some days I wonder what the hospital's return policy is, Joking of course but still.:p I suppose teen girls could be worse, but the grass always seems greener on the other side at least on the brief glance on the surface. Hang in there with the teen son stuff, and I'll try to do the same. Thank goodness for Cathe's tough, challenging, and fun workouts to help us work hard to sweat out some of that pent up stress from work, kids, or whatever, eh? Its my stress reliever. Take care and have a restful peaceful night.;)

Sorry, for beeing so short lately! I am doing a lot of Cleanmax, my kids gonna be here on Monday. Need to get everything ready. Love having a huge house, but hate cleaning it. But it needs to be done:confused: I am almost done cleaning all my windows, I know I am nuts. Who cleans windows in the winter? I have 19 windows:confused:
