Hi Girls!
OMG, the DOMS are over my ENTIRE body today from Pure Strength 2 (Peak Fit) yesterday! I guess the week off of all workouts really rested my muscles good!

. Today I did Pure Cardio (PF) and then TRIED to do Core Dynamics but #1. I can't do planks. I fell on a hike on vacation and gouged out the palms of my hands in spots. They are scabbing over, and it hurts like heck to put pressure on my hands like that! AND #2. The tight band frustrates the CRAP out of me on the 3rd segment. I can't do many of the moves WITH the band. Soooo... I did the first 5 minutes of it and then switched over to Turbo Fire Core 20, and did 15 minutes of that. I think I'm kind of "done" with Dynamic Core workout for now. I'm going to sub in other abs when it comes up for the next 4 weeks.
Belinda: NICE job on 30/30 today! And abs! ... What a fun time with your DD to go on the RT. Does she do cathe workouts too? or was this her first time? I'm sure she's seen YOU do them! I'm itching to get the new workouts too! THE dixie cup exercises are quite intriguing!
Roxie: Awesome job on your workout last night and for going up in weights! .. Wow! It's still very hot there, huh? We've been in the upper 80's, 90 the past few days. Kind of a relief from the 100's! Do you not have A/C there? I would DIE without A/C with those temps, seriously!
Debbie: Nice going on Total Body today! That moves pretty quick, doesn't it? You work up a sweat!! I think you were wise to back off on the shoulder exercises. Give them a good rest to recover. And maybe when you start back, go lighter too.
Nora: So glad to hear you love Peak Fit! It definitely is different. I decided to go with the rotation "as is". I know, i was reluctant to let up on the weights too, but was suprised to see i was actually losing weight with the rotaton "as is" !! I've had a weight loss "gain/plateau" for the last 2 or 3 YEARS! and this has broken through it for me. Amazing workout you did yesterday!
