Crazy, Strong & Loving It for 3/7

Today was total body again. Same workout as last Wednesday only in Superset fashion. Quick workout, love this rotation.

2 sets/8 reps with 1 minute rest between each superset.

SS #1
Incline Barbell Press - 70# (up 5#)
ss w/
Barbell Row - 57# (up 2#)


SS #2
Squats - 70# (up 5#)
ss w/
Dumbbell Military Press - 17's (up 2#)


SS #3
Barbell Curls - 45# (same)
ss w/
Elevated Deadlifts - 57# (up 2#)

Then I did the Ab Work from Cardio and Weights.

Belinda - It's not that I don't want to start the threads, but I don't have much time in the mornings anymore either. I'm usually rushing to get out of the house to get to work. It's ok, though. I don't mind. If there is ever a day I don't start it, you'll know it's because I'm running late! :)

Hi girls!!

Today I did Supreme 90's Back & Biceps , which was subbing for my P90X workout that doesn't play. First time I did it! WOW! :eek: Tough stuff!!! REALLY challenging! I also did Cathe's Butts & Buts abs, up to the planks. There was a one circuit of abs on S90 too, which kind of threw me, but I got abs in good!

Debbie: Nice job today on the weights!!! C&W Abs are a goodie!

Nora: Oh, wait. I didn't get Michelle Dozios NEW workout. It was actually an older one that was on clearance at Total Fitness Video. It's called "Your Body Breakthru -- The Ultimate Workout". This one does have 3 sections: Cardio, Weights, Stretch. I've just done the cardio one and it's basically 30 minute workout of Michelles Peak Cardio from Peak Fit. You know, cycles of increasing intensity and then an Interval at the end. I really liked it, PLUS, it was REALLY cheap! LOL! .... Sounds like you'll have a great rotation with That Bodypump!! Very cool (but still not a fan of barbells. LOL!). ..... I *did* order Mindy Mylrea's new workout though. It's called "Tabata with Toys". It should be shipping out pretty soon!! I like her ,don't you?

Roxie: It's good that the KettleWorx is short and you can add in other wokrouts. do you still notlike it?

Belinda: that STS Pyramid goes on FOREVER, huh? LOL! ... That HiiT DWP is crazy, isn't it? Too bad we didn't know we were both doing it!! What are you up to today?

Chris - I really enjoying the STS pyramid rotation, so much fun. I got amazing results. I put on a dress the other day, haven't worn it in over 20 years (btw, it's in style now;) saw it in Banana Republics! it's a 60's style black dress. Really cute!) That's crazy we both ended up doing the same workout yesterday, lol! Nice job, on your Back/bicep workout.

I did D8 (BB) this morning.

Good Afternoon,

I didn't get up to workout knowing that youngest DD was coming over for supper so I will try to get it done. I have been keeping a secret from you all that I have now been cleared to tell I AM GOING TO BE A GRANDMA. Oldest DD is due Sept 19th. so that is why we are trying to get there house built.

Chris-I liked last nights workout but tonites is a repeat of Mondays workout but he called it Level 2 Core.

My Les Mills Pump arrived this morning!:) Ok, you know I just had to rip that box apart and do the workout right, yep I did it! Only 1 draw back the safety clips that were packed and arrived with the bar were both broken. I know, not happy, but I emailed beachbody about it and requested they send me replacements at no cost to me. I was not bummed because I read feedback about it and did realize that there were complaints about the clips, no worries I had a pair of standard spring clamp clips on the ready. Also tomorrow I will also have the Standard lock jaw clamps which work on straight standard bars and threadded ones, so cool since I have both now.
Ok, I'll just check in now.

Here's today's workout:

Turbo Fire- Fire 30 Class= 33 Min
Met Value= 8.50
Calories burned= 383

Les Mills Pump- Pump Challenge= 25 Min
Met Value= 6.0
Calories burned= 205 Love it!!!:D

Turbo Fire- Abs 10= 11 Min
Met Value= 5.0
Calories burned= 75

Total calories burned= 663;)

Well, I had a fab workout today and tons of fun, so glad I got Les Mills Pump, and the instructors all consistantly use flawless form with every exercise. I have to say that its refreshing to see entire class of people using excellent form. I usually only see that with Cathe and her crew and now Les Mills Pump Instructors, awesomeness and I love it. I really was impressed with Les Mills Pump they stress correct form, posture and using abs to help with posture. I did experience the rep effect in Pump Challenge and I was shocked because I was not using heavy weight at all. Oh, the bar is padded and nice the safey clips are crap so I factored that in and had spring lock clamps on the ready. I did notice my 1 inch standard BB weight plates do fit on the Bar with Pump and the spring lock clamps for the Standard size bar fit perfectly, so no worries there. I'm excited to do Pump Challenge again and lucky for me I will, tomorrow.

Roxie- Shhhh, I have a secret, I wish you oodles of congrats on your becomming a grandma, that's awesome! ((Hugs)) No worries about if you get your workout in or not, your busy so enjoy this happy joyous secret. Many blessings and hugs!;)

Belinda- Nicely done with STS D8 Back and Biceps, you can't ever go wrong with any of cathe's workouts and STS is especially excellent, so WTG girlfriend!;):D

Chris- Awesome job today subbing in Supreme 90's Back & Biceps for P90X's back and bi's that didn't want to play for you. Tons of people rave about Supreme 90 I have it but only did it once. ITs really good and impressive and the price oh my goodness its awesome. I hope to do a rotation of that maybe this summer. Lots of good reviews for Supreme 90 the only negative I've heard said really is the instructor doesn't do the workout and everyone is working out at their own pace. Everyone raves about the workouts themselves though, so great substitute WTG!!! Good for you ordering Mindy Mylrea's Tabata Toy's I did see that one too, looks good. I really like Mindy Mylrea she's good and a little powerhouse of energy, you'll see but she's fun and I like her. I especially love her cycling workouts, and I have her Glutes, Guns, & Guts too but I haven't done that one yet. Oh on the Michelle Dozois video you got sounds like a good one too!

Debbie- Once again with the super killer workout with amazing weights you are awesome with these great workouts, WTG ^^^5's way to rock it!!;)
